Gee whizz, folks... If I were to momentarily forget everything I've learned about politics over the last decade and simply read these definitions, I would swear that not only were I a "staunch Liberal", but Liberalism appears to be the best answer to the economic mess we're stuck in!
What gives, people? Why is the sky still falling?
Could it be that so many of our brothers and sisters believe they are Liberal simply because that's what their parents said they were, and when it came to doing their own soul-searching they came across these same definitions and thought as I - in my own, self induced, political naivety... I am Liberal.
Let's take a glimpse into the history of Liberalism and how in recent years it has become ruthlessly hijacked by something far less appealing, a parasitic cancer disguised as Liberalism. Being a Liberal in today's America is in sharp contrast with Liberalism of the past.
Can anyone recall JFK's speech, "Ask not what your country can do for you..." or Grover Cleveland, after being confronted with a bill to spend truckloads of taxpayer dollars to distribute seed grain to drought-stricken farmers? Cleveland vetoed that bill, stating, "Federal aid in such cases encourages the expectation of paternal care on the part of the Government and weakens the sturdiness of our national character..."
And who can dismiss what Liberal Presidents of our past have done to protect our fledgling country. JFK ended the Cuban Missile Crisis, bringing renewed peace to a sleepless America; Truman dropped atomic bombs on Japan, bringing a swift conclusion to World War II; these men along with others helped spread peace and prosperity throughout the world by utilizing the strength and determination of the countless young men and women of our armed services, which in turn secured peace and prosperity here at home, as well as abroad.
So, who is this hijacker? And what does it want with America's good-natured Liberals?
Liberalism, itself is not a bad word, and being a liberal - a true Liberal - what I suspect most American's believe when they say, "I'm a Liberal" - is not necessarily a bad thing, even if I do find myself in disagreement with much of what they have to say. Where the problem truly lies, is that we're being swindled - by today's highest-level politicians, hiding behind a false, yet shiny mantle of Liberalism - into thinking, "Desperate times call for desperate measures", and if we don't act now, the world will cease to exist; and in the panic of the moment, we fall for it - even some of the best of us.
I don't know about you, but had I known that passing a "Stimulus Bill", supposedly designed to kick start our free-falling economy, would somehow grant our President the authority to take up the mantle of dictator, taking control over banks, firing CEOs of private enterprise, telling the private sector how it must do business, doing everything in his swift growing power to bankrupt the energy sector, even calling for massive limitations on our free speech - and I'm just rambling off a few of this man's terrifying paths of destruction - I can't imagine that I, nor anyone else in their right mind would have supported this.
But you see, I think that's precisely what they had planned all along. They don't want you to know what's going on, they don't want you to even have a clue; because if you did, they'd be out of a job, and they know it. This progressive movement is like a quick spreading cancer - a foreign ideological mass; lethally clever, superbly cunning, and frighteningly stealthy. They terrified the country into thinking - or perhaps not so much - that something had to be done immediately - or else!
Then faster-than-the-eye-could-see, this "Stimulus Bill" swelled into a 1,000 page colossus. Congress had just barely enough time to read the cute little blurb penned on its cover before being forced - virtually at gunpoint - to vote on a bill that would forever change the course of American history.
This was no Stimulus Bill, my friends. It was a freakin' Trojan Horse!

Can someone please tell me the name of this cancer - this America-eating, life-ending, parasitic disease, hijacking the defenseless hearts and minds of our poor confused Liberal comrades? My God, what am I saying? This is not a liberal issue, nor is it a conservative or a libertarian issue. This cancer is infesting all that it touches, destroying anything and everything in its wake!

AMERICA: The Final Stand
If you are new to all this - this ruthless world of politics - paying close attention for the first time, because of this economic crisis, fearful for your future, for the future of your children and grandchildren, wondering, "How the heck did this happen?", "Why is nothing going as Obama promised on the campaign trail?", and, "Where do we go from here?", my friends, you are not alone.
Millions of Americans are finding themselves thinking the same things. And it doesn't matter if you are Republican or Democrat, Libertarian or Independent; we are all Americans, and our desires, hopes, and fears are very much in line. Perhaps, like I, you're confused, angry, and getting more furious with each passing bailout.
One of the biggest problems I see is that many of us keep assuring ourselves, "If Obama messes up we'll elect someone new in 2012, and if he really manages to screw things up, the powers that be will Impeach him." Well, I've got news you, and I say this with the utmost respect - because if you're still reading this, if you haven't already thrown it into the flames, then I'm still hopeful there's a chance for America. My friends, I beg you, get your thinkers out of that dark void and see what's right before your eyes.
You see, normally this is all true; since our country's founding there have been protective measures in place, preventing an unchecked government from running amuck; however, this administration finds itself in an unprecedented situation, which in many ways has been self created, where all of these checks and balances have been tossed out or weakened beyond repair.
Today the house and the senate are overwhelmingly leftist. No matter how crazy a bill may seem to the rest of us, if they want it bad enough, they'll pass it. Currently there are not enough levelheaded representatives in the house or the senate to stop it. And what's worse, is typically, when all else would fail, we would have the free press to keep the government in check. Not so today. Nearly every network clearly supports the Obama administration, and the few that attempt to keep Washington in check are constantly fighting off attack after attack by the WHAD (White House Attack Dogs). Lawsuits have even been threatened by this administration to some who have attempted to expose Obama's sinister plans.
It is important for everyone to understand just how critical this situation truly is!
Barrack Obama is attempting to guarantee a 2012 victory, by creating an unstoppable voting majority. Sounds crazy, I know, but I assure you it's all very true; and once you hear all that I have to say, and then you compare it with what's already happening, and what's about to happen very soon, perhaps you'll get it - just maybe it'll click. And at that point America can only hope and pray that you'll join them in stopping it.
We only have eighteen months before Obama has all the pieces needed to assure his 2012 victory. And with no checks and balances in Washington Obama will pass any crapshoot bill he wishes. Mark my words. I'm willing to take a risk and predict that if Obama wins his 2012 bid, he'll make all the changes necessary to retain power long after his final term. And by then we'll have absolutely no say in the matter.
One of the many Obama tricks is called "Trickle Up Economics", a theory tried in the past, failing miserably every time. Obama's economic plan will ultimately bankrupt the private sector, making it "necessary" for government to step in and take full control, creating an ultra powerful centralized government; nationalizing banking, welfare, healthcare, insurance, warrantees, work benefits, 401Ks, so on and so forth, complete and utter control over America, her people, and their economy.
This is Socialism to the core and will place more people on some form of government assistance than ever in the history of America. And as a general rule of thumb, people who become dependent on government to survive, typically vote democrat. All part of the plan.
Another Obama trick is a bill he's pushing giving illegal aliens the right to vote - seriously, I'm not joking! - creating nearly twenty million new Obama supporters, over night.
The only way to stop this is to overwhelm the streets and steps of our nation and state capitals, sending a loud and clear message. "We must stop this insanity before all of our freedoms are stripped away. We must put the necessary checks and balances back into Washington."
"We must bring an end to the advancement of Socialism!" ...and it's as simple as voting just a few good conservative thinkers into the house and senate in 2010.
This may be our final stand, America. Our last chance to expel this terminal cancer before it eliminates everything that has made America so great!
We must stand United! Every one of us! Not just Liberals, not just Conservatives or Independents or Libertarians! We must all gather what strength we have left and fight this cancer! Only when we find it in ourselves to stand together, will we defeat this and take back our great nation!
America, I ask you to say a prayer for yourself tonight - say one every night. Then please, I beg you, get out and do something, whatever it takes to protect us from one of the most lethal cancers known to mankind.

The UNHRC's resolution effectively delegitimized Israel's right to exist by denying that it has a right to defend its territory and its people from illegal aggression carried out by an illegal terrorist organization.
Mohamed ElBaradei, the UN's International Atomic Energy Agency's virulently anti-Israel chairman, announced a deal has been reached between Iran and the US, Russia and France regarding Iran's nuclear program.
But now that the administration has agreed to an accord that effectively transforms America into a facilitator of Iran's nuclear weapons program, the time has come for Israel to start voicing its objections.
I think it is time for us to realise that there is something going on in the United Nations that is working within an agenda far removed from Democratic Principles and Personal Freedoms that we expect.
