History of The English Language: Quebec, Canada, French vs. English: Racial and Linguistic DiscriminationEnglish is a living language created by the people, and not necessarily by government bodies, which gives it, its flexibility. Whereas the French language, which began as a colloquial, called Lingua Franca by the Holy Roman Emperor Charlemagne (Carolus Magnus) in the 8th century, never did advance like English, because it was dictatorial and inflexible. Present day French in all its forms is still a very rigid language and requires the approval of l'Academie française and the French government.
"English the master key to the world of business, science and knowledge"
The English language began its journey from Celtic Britain, which after the Roman conquest got Latin mixed into it. After the Roman withdrawal from Britain, it was again invaded by Angles, Saxons and Jutes, which now expanded and adopted words from those languages. After this came the Danes who invaded Britain and in time also left their stamp on the language. By the time the Norman Conquest came along, the language known as Anglisch was still pretty close other Nordic languages. After the Norman conquest of 1066, more than 10,000 Norman-French words were incorporated into the English language.
By absorbing Norman-French words the language it changed drastically. By the time the age of discovery came along, English was well established as a language. The English explorers in search of the New World and around the world also brought back new words from other languages. The settlements in the American continent added words used by Native American Tribes into the English language. But the language expanded even further by British explorers and soldiers of fortune that helped build the British Empire. The growth of the British Empire also helped expand the English language, well beyond those of any other language. So much so, that words from islands in the South Pacific, Australia, China, New Zealand, Arabia, Persia, the East Indies, including Malaya and parts of Africa crept into the language giving it the power of a language that had no equal.
English did not stop growing even when the British Empire was shut down, there came another branch of the English language from the Britain's former American colonies, the United States of America to fill the void that the British Empire had left. By the time the Space Age had arrived, English had become the only language to create a completely new glossary, one that heralded-in the new frontier of the Space Age.
It was great lexicographers like Dr. Samuel Johnson who created his "Dictionary of the English language" in 1755, which modernized English. But the journey of the English did not stop there, because along came another genius, in the form of the American lexicographer Noah Webster who published "An American Dictionary of the English Language" in 1828. If anything Dr. Samuel Johnson and Noah Webster might actually have given new meaning to the vastness of the English language.
English is a living language created by the people, and not necessarily by government bodies, which gives it, its flexibility. That is exactly what we have seen in practice in the province of Quebec, where a form of jargon French or patois which is called Joual holds sway is under total government control, and the people of course have no say at all in it. The French language in a manner of speaking is still stuck in the age of sailing ships where it rightly belongs, while the English language has moved to the New Frontier of the Space Age. The rigidity and intransigence of French language has caused it to become a dying language, surviving only on a life support system, and unable to make it on its own. English is so speak a language of languages, because it is a polyglot. To summarize, English is language CHOSEN by people who every day help create new words and add to its growth, whereas the French language is a language totally under l'Academie française in France, and fully supported by government edicts.

"Telling the truth is a truly revolutionary act!" George Orwell (Eric Blair)
Mr. Herbert went on to tell me that June 24th was a day that was celebrated by “les canadiens” as their NATIONAL FEAST and that he would not approve of it because it would make his Québécoise wife very angry. So I asked him whether he was MP for the constituents of Vaudreuil or only represented his wife a Québécoise. At which he got very annoyed and put down the telephone.
But the sad part is that the infrastructure of Montreal has collapsed. Roads, highways and the raised sections of the overhead roads now fall in pieces or chunks on to the roads below, causing serious damage. The roads are now somewhat like an obstacle courses that one has to learn how to negotiate, or do damage their cars.
The Continental Congress on January 20, 1776, gave permission to Colonel Moses Hazen, the Military Governor of Montreal to recruit an army from the local Metis population, which he carried out. Thus, Colonel Hazen created the 2nd Canadien (Canadian) Regiment, also called Hazen's regiment and they served throughout the Revolutionary War, and were even involved in the siege of York Town. On October 19, 1781, Lord Cornwallis surrendered to the Franco-American forces under General George Washington and the Marquis de Lafayette. The 2nd Canadien Regiment was disbanded on November 15, 1783, two months after the Anglo-American Peace Treaty of Versailles.
Definition: King's Calendar Chronological Research
The Premise: Between the 5th and 3rd centuries BCE (but continuing down to at least 104 BCE), Sectarian redactors transcribed the legitimate 'solar year' chronological records of Israel and Judah, into an artificial form, with listed years as each comprised of 12 months of 4 weeks of 7 days, or 336 days per year, thus creating a 13th artificial year where 12 solar years existed.
When the Synchronous Chronological Data provided in the Books of Kings and Chronicles for the Divided Kingdom Period are measured in years of 336 days, the synchronisms actually align. [Refer to Appendix 5. to see how it synchronises the Divided Kingdom Period]
About the KingsCalendar Publisher
R.P.BenDedek is the owner and Editor of KingsCalendar.com which was originally set up to publicize his research results into the Chronology of Ancient Israel. Those results were published under the title: 'The King's Calendar: The Secret of Qumran'.
Whilst there have been many attempts to solve the chronological riddle of the Bible's synchronisms of reigns of the kings of Israel and Judah and their synchronism with other Ancient Near Eastern Nations, no other research is based on a simple mathematical formula which could, if it is incorrect, be disproved easily. To date, no one has been able to dismiss the mathematical results of this research.
Free to air Academic articles set forth Apologetics for and results of his discovery of an "artificial chronological scheme" running through the Bible, Josephus, the Damascus Documents of the Dead Sea Scrolls, and Seder Olam Rabbah.
During the current economic downturn, this book has been drastically reduced in price but will eventually rise as the economy improves.
