• UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon was left shaken but unhurt after a suspected rocket exploded, sending shock waves through a building where he was giving a news conference.
  
  
• The surprise trip came against the backdrop of more violence. Three US soldiers were reported killed and rival Shi'ite gunmen clashed in Basra, Iraq's second city whose oil fields are the source of most of the country's wealth.
  
  
• The UN has been operating in Iraq at greatly reduced levels since international staffers were withdrawn in October 2003 following an attack on their headquarters.

• Three masked Palestinian gunmen fired on a vehicle carrying the chief of the UN refugee mission in Gaza and tried to kidnap him, the UN official said.
  
  
• No one was hurt in the kidnap attempt in northern Gaza
  
  
• "They tried to force open the car, but our driver extracted himself from that situation," and sped away as the gunmen continued firing, he said.

  "Once again, the human rights mechanisms of the United Nations are inordinately focused on alleged Israeli violations while ignoring or downplaying the most serious human rights crises around the world," said Glen S. Lewy, ADL National Chair and Abraham H. Foxman, ADL National Director. "To use the U.N. Human Rights Council as an institutional bludgeon against the state of Israel is a disgraceful abuse of power and an affront to the very concept of human rights."

• Leaders worldwide are so busy speaking of how essential it is for a State of Palestine to be founded that none of them seems to have noticed that it already exists. And it is a nightmare.
  
• In the State of Palestine 88 percent of the public feels insecure.

• Children are woken up in the middle of the night and murdered in front of their parents.
  
• Worshipers in mosques are gunned down by terrorists who attend competing mosques. And no one cares.

• No UN body condemns anyone or sends a fact-finding mission to investigate the murders.
  
• In the State of Palestine, women are stripped naked and forced to march in the streets to humiliate their husbands.

• Terrorists enter operating rooms in hospitals and unplug patients from life-support machines.
  
• In the State of Palestine, people are kidnapped from their homes in broad daylight and in front of the television cameras.
  
• Speaking to The Jerusalem Post, reporter Ala Masharawi explained, "No one goes outside, no one moves without thinking twice. Gaza's streets have become terrible streets, especially at night. Gaza is a ghost town."
  
• As Samir Qumsiyeh, owner of the Beit Sahur-based private Al-Mahd (Nativity) TV station lamented, "I believe that 15 years from now there will be no Christians left in Bethlehem. Then you will need a torch to find a Christian here."
  
• As Ibrahim Gambari, the UN under-secretary-general for political affairs, noted last Thursday, official Western aid to the Palestinians, not including Arab and Iranian support for Hamas and Fatah, increased by 10 percent in 2006 over 2005, and stood at $1.2 billion.
  
• The Palestinians, who receive more aid per capita than any people on earth, are needy not because they lack funds. They are poor because they prefer poverty, violence and war to prosperity, peace and moderation. So it is that 57 percent of Palestinians support terror attacks against Israel.
  
• The multitude of protesters worldwide who demand an end to the so-called "occupation" and the establishment of Palestine should be made aware of the fact that Palestine already exists. The hordes of political leaders mindlessly squawking about "visions" and "two-state solutions" should know: This is Palestine. Enter at your own risk.

• In September 1948, in the midst of the War of Independence, which came as the Arab world and the Palestinian Arabs launched a war of extermination against Israel rather than accept the UN's partition of the country, the UN mediator Count Folke Bernadotte explained that without "economic union" between the Arabs and the Jews the plan was anyway doomed to failure because of the "justifiable doubts concerning the economic viability of the proposed Arab state."
  
  ....There is no peace process, only a war process. And if we do not recognize this fact and fight, we shall soon begin to bury more innocents whose lives will be sacrificed because we were too stubborn to acknowledge reality.

• There were 935 reported incidents of anti-Semitism in Canada in 2006 - representing a 12.8 percent rise from the previous year, a four-fold increase over the past 10 years
  
• When 42 synagogues were vandalized this year, it's not even a news item anymore," he told The Jerusalem Post by phone from Toronto on Wednesday.
  
• "Jews are increasingly preoccupied with security. There are guards at synagogues now, and Jewish institutions are getting bullet-proof windows."

• The Sudanese military blocked him from entering a camp for displaced people in Darfur on Sunday, in an incident he called symptomatic of the problems aid organisations face in the area. According to the UN, at least 200,000 people have been killed and more than two million displaced in Darfur since the conflict erupted in February 2003. Some sources say the death toll is much higher.

• A good friend of mine, Edva Naveh of Sha'arei Tikva in Samaria, made an interesting observation recently concerning the gang of Beduin youths who, according to their indictment, committed a series of rapes in the Galilee area. She was struck by reports in the Hebrew media - YNET, for instance - saying that the rapes were perpetrated as a form of nationalist vengeance against IDF operations in Judea, Samaria and Gaza.
  
• Now if it's true that these were "terrorist rapes," Edva wondered why feminist organizations in Israel which devote themselves to combating rape, harassment and trafficking in women appear to have ignored the entire matter.
  
• HOWEVER, Edva asked, why hasn't the feminist community addressed - or at the very least investigated - the matter of Jewish women allegedly being raped out of nationalist motivation?
  
• Millionaire Ofer Glazer and MK Yoram Marciano have been pilloried by them for reported sexual improprieties. Actor Rami Heuberger is being criticized. But the behavior of the young residents of Galilee has been largely ignored by the feminists.
  
• What about humanitarian groups here and abroad which define themselves as liberal, left or progressive? They've been rightly vociferous in condemning rape used in the course of war, as in Bosnia, Rwanda, the Congo and Darfur. Why the apparent silence in this instance?

• Dr. Nadir Sa'id of Bir Zeit University condemned the violence in Palestinian society and placed the blame on the political and religious leaders. He blamed both Fatah and Hamas
  
• He condemned some Imams who preach the killing of women and beating of children. He criticized these actions, as well as the hate incitement that has created a Palestinian society permeated with violence. Children have learned that the use of violence achieves power and influence.
  
• This self-criticism is rare in the PA media. The following are some of Sa'id's criticisms by topic
  
• Dr. Nadir Sa'id, director of Development Studies at Bir Zeit University:
  
• "The message to Palestinian children is that if you use violence...you can achieve influence and you can achieve rule."
  
• "A whole generation was raised on the denial of the 'other' and erasing him completely, and to the possibility of killing him without any restraint or problem.?
• "There are Imams who incite to killing: killing of women, beating children, killing the 'other.'"
  
• "What happened in Palestine in the last years is speech incitement of the highest degree. Violence speech of the highest degree in mosques, and occasionally in the media, from many politicians."
  
• There is no denying that crime, in general, needs environmental conditions, and especially environmental conditions of violence and environmental conditions of incitement speech."
  
• "There is a kind of conspiracy not to punish the criminals. Hundreds of Palestinians were killed in the recent struggle between Fatah and Hamas?Who will punish those who gave the orders? Who will punish those who committed [the crimes]? Who will punish the people who remained silent...?"
  
• "The next government [of Hamas with Fatah] is a crime against Palestinian society."
  
• "The prime minister and many of the ministers and security apparatuses are the ones who eased and facilitated the killing of hundreds of Palestinians."
  
• "Who will punish those who caused the killing of these children, these women, these men this is a political crime of the highest level."

• A SUNNI Muslim community group has called for all Australians, both Muslim and non-Muslim, to denounce outspoken cleric Sheik Taj al-Din al-Hilali.
  
• Darulfatwa, or the Islamic High Council of Australia has distanced itself from the controversial cleric, who last week sparked outrage with comments on an Egyptian chat show.
  
• "Australian Muslims must take every opportunity to denounce the Hilali as their leader, including those at the Lebanese Muslim Association, while non-Muslims can support their fellow Muslim friends by not recognising or labelling the Hilali as a mufti to Australia's Muslim community."

• A UN human rights expert today accused Israel of turning the Gaza Strip into a virtual prison under an apartheid-like occupation of Palestinian territories.
  
• "Gaza remains an imprisoned society into which the prison guards have made frequent military incursions, killing hundreds of Palestinians and wounding thousands in the second half of 2006," said John Dugard, the special rapporteur on human rights for the Palestinian territories.
  
• Israel has long refused cooperation with the UN special rapporteur because his mandate does not extend to examining violations of Israeli rights by Palestinians, including suicide bombings and rocket attacks.

• "Everyone here is disgusted by what's happening in the Gaza Strip," said Shireen Atiyeh, a 30-year-old mother of three working in one of the Palestinian Authority ministries. "We are telling the world that we don't deserve a state because we are murdering each other and destroying our universities, colleges, mosques and hospitals. Today I'm ashamed to say that I'm a Palestinian."
  
• Ayman Abu Khalaf, a 40-year-old businessman, said he was seriously considering moving with his family to Jordan because of the growing state of anarchy and lawlessness in the PA territories.
  
• "The situation is very dangerous and many people are afraid to leave their homes," he said. "I'm very worried about the safety of my children. There are many armed gangs and everyone is afraid. If the situation does not improve, I will take my family and go to Jordan. This is not the Palestine we want to live in."

• The truce was supposed to end factional fighting that has left more than 60 Palestinians dead over the past two months, and was set to go into effect at 3 a.m. local time (0100 GMT).
  
• PA Foreign Minister Mahmoud Zahar of Hamas announced the agreement early Tuesday. Zahar said the agreement stipulated that all security forces must return to their bases, that suspects in killings were to be handed over, and that all hostages still being held - a number thought to be in the dozens - were to be released. He also said all roadblocks set up by the factions were to be removed. None of those steps appeared to have been taken after the 3 a.m. deadline.

• MEMBERS of a Hamas-led police force clashed overnight with gunmen loyal to President Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah faction in a second straight day of factional fighting since the formation of a unity government.
  
  
• But clashes broke out on Wednesday and spread after a series of abductions.
  
• The most high profile abductee was local Hamas leader Hamdan Assufi, who disappeared on Wednesday.
  
• In overnight violence, the house of a Hamas supporter in the northern Gaza Strip was set ablaze.
  
• Hamas blamed Fatah and dispatched members of its Executive Force to the scene
  
• In an apparent response, the furniture shop of a Fatah supporter was set on fire.
  
• Earlier, unknown gunmen hijacked a UN vehicle. A UN convoy was attacked last week.
  
• In the occupied West Bank, Israeli soldiers clashed with members of the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, which is linked to Fatah, near the city of Hebron.

• A two-year-old Palestinian child was killed during gunfights between Fatah and Hamas operatives in Gaza on Thursday night, local medical officials told news agencies.
  
• According to Army Radio, one of the child's relatives was wounded in the clashes, as well.

• GUNMEN shot and wounded a senior Hamas commander, his wife and two of their children in an ambush in Gaza today, witnesses and hospital officials said.
  
• Witnesses and hospital officials did not disclose the severity of his wounds or those of his wife but said the two children were in critical condition.

• FAMILY courts have always been known for dirty tricks but recent stories to emerge from Britain show gutter tactics have reached new lows. A father recently appeared in a UK Family Court, representing himself in a custody dispute. He made his argument, quoting a judgment sent to him by a well-known fathers' support group.
  
• The opposing barrister pulled him up - claiming the case he had mentioned had never appeared in the law reports. The father was made to look a fool and a conman, and the angry judge warned him he could face up to $20,000 in court costs.
  
• But when the source of the offending email quoting the forged case was finally traced, it turned out to have been sent by the wife's barrister ?who is now scheduled for a court appearance for perverting the course of justice.

• "Hand-rearing a polar bear is not appropriate and is a serious violation of animal rights," Bild newspaper quoted animal rights campaigner Frank Albrecht as saying. "In fact, the cub should have been killed," he added.

• Muhammad Faisal Saksak, 21-year-old suicide bomber carried out Monday's attack (Jan 2007) in Eilat
  
• Muhammad's wife, Nadia, said "When I heard that he was martyred, I felt very proud of him"
  
• The mother of Muhammad said she was aware of her son's plan to blow himself up and that she had wished him "good luck."
  
• The mother of nine said she was proud of her son for carrying out the suicide attack.
  
• Ruwaidah said she was prepared to "sacrifice" all her sons "for the sake of the Aksa Mosque and Palestine."

• A MAN who ripped out his wife's eyes in a fit of rage was sentenced by a French court to 30 years behind bars today.
  
• Mohamed Hadfi, 31, tore out his 23-year-old wife Samira Bari's eyes following a heated argument in their apartment in the southern French city of Nimes in July 2003 after she refused to have sex with him.
  
• "This is the result of a marriage that was arranged, not chosen," he said, pointing to the gulf separating his client, who came from southern Morocco, and his young wife, who had grown up in France.
  Mr Cabanes begged the jury for leniency, claiming his client's action "appeared to stem from a mental illness."
  
  
• Feminism, Ethnic Culture and Pakistani girls.

• Young British Muslims are more likely than their elders to support Shari'a law and admire al-Qaida, but three-fifths of 16-to 24-year-olds say they have as much in common with non-Muslims as with Muslims, according to an opinion poll published on Monday.
  
• Forty percent of Muslims between aged 16 to 24 said they would prefer to live under Shari'a law in the UK, compared to only 17% of those over 55. Thirty-six percent of the younger group said a Muslim who converted to another religion should be "punished by death," while only 19 percent of the older group agreed. Thirteen percent of young Muslims surveyed said they "admired" organizations such as al-Qaida and others who were prepared to "fight the West."

• In other words, if Muslims stand up on planes shouting their prayers, make threatening comments against the US and voice their support of Islamic terrorists, the other passengers must remain silent and airline employees may not stop them.

• In a video issued this month by the Global Islamic Media Front, a hooded man warns that the presence of Spanish troops in Afghanistan "exposes Spain again to threats."
  
• So much for Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero's assurances that the withdrawal of Spanish troops from Iraq would make the country safer.
  
• In fact, the terrorists' very last message called for the end of the supposed "truce" earned after Spain's withdrawal from Iraq. Spain's continued military commitment to Afghanistan was reason enough to continue the jihad in Spain.
  
• Last month he exhorted Islamists in the Maghreb -- the northwestern part of Africa where 80 % of the 300 terrorist suspects arrested in Spain since March 11 come from -- "to once again feel the soil of Al Andalus beneath your feet." Previously Zawahiri had called for liberating Muslim land "from Iraq to Al Andalus."
  
• Caving in to terrorists' demands only emboldens them and doesn't even earn you a respite from their threats of violence.

• Hirsi Ali became world famous in 2004, when Dutch filmmaker Theo van Gogh was murdered by an Islamic fundamentalist for making a documentary critical of Islam. The killer pinned a note to his victim's body with a death threat against Hirsi Ali, who had collaborated with him. She had taken refuge in Holland after a life of oppression under her Islamic family, made worse by her native Somalia's clan-based structures and forced relocations to Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia and Kenya. Not only was she a devout Muslim, but she had been a close sympathizer of the Muslim Brotherhood, the fundamentalist movement that was sweeping the region. After escaping to Holland to avoid an arranged marriage, she became a Dutch citizen and began to speak out against the culture of oppression affecting women in the Islamic world. She denounced "multiculturalism," in which Western countries tolerate and encourage -- often at taxpayers' expense -- cultural practices among immigrant groups even when they violate individual rights.
  
• This is not the enemy of Muslims speaking, but a conscience that came to value individual freedom above loyalty to clan and obedience to the Koran, precisely because she saw the suffering of those among whom she was raised.
  
• "I could no longer," she says, "avoid seeing the totalitarianism, the pure moral framework that is Islam. ... True Islam, as a rigid belief system ... leads to cruelty."
  
• The fact that Western guilt has made it fashionable to support cultural groups that oppress their members in the name of "multiculturalism" is one powerful reason we all need to be reminded that free societies did not come about by luck, but through the painstaking trial-and-error process that selected those values and institutions that best protected freedom.

• unidentified assailants detonated explosive charges inside an Internet cafe in the town of Jabalya in the northern Gaza Strip.
  
• Wednesday's attack was the third of its kind in less than a week and the 48th in the past five months.
  
• the attacks were the work of a radical Islamic group - Swords of Islamic Righteousness - believed to be an offshoot of al-Qaida.
  
• Its members have also claimed responsibility for assaults on women whom they accused of being dressed immodestly.

• Palestinian Authority officials on Thursday expressed fear that the United Nations may formally declare the Gaza Strip a dangerous zone - a move that would result in the evacuation of the remaining foreign nationals from the area and drastically hamper international humanitarian aid to the Palestinians.
  
• "The Gaza Strip is full of thugs and gangsters who are responsible for the ongoing anarchy. Soon the Gaza Strip may be declared a dangerous zone, which means that all international organizations would have to leave."
  
• Muhammad Dahlan, who was recently appointed PA National Security Adviser, said it was time to admit that a "curse has hit" the Gaza Strip. "Anyone who does not admit that there's a curse in the Gaza Strip does not know what he's talking about," he said.
  
  
• New Unity Government of Palestine? Just Call me a Cynic! by R.P.BenDedek

• The UNHRC's resolution effectively delegitimized Israel's right to exist by denying that it has a right to defend its territory and its people from illegal aggression carried out by an illegal terrorist organization.
  
  Mohamed ElBaradei, the UN's International Atomic Energy Agency's virulently anti-Israel chairman, announced a deal has been reached between Iran and the US, Russia and France regarding Iran's nuclear program.
  
  But now that the administration has agreed to an accord that effectively transforms America into a facilitator of Iran's nuclear weapons program, the time has come for Israel to start voicing its objections.

• Colonel Richard Kemp (the former commander of British forces in Afghanistan), who said, "From my knowledge of the IDF and from the extent to which I have been following the current operation, I do not think there has ever been a time in the history of warfare when an army has made more efforts to reduce civil casualties and deaths of innocent people than the IDF is doing today in Gaza."

• Every time someone writes, speaks of Palestinians - a myth is reinforced
  
  
• Israel eventually negotiated an armistice in 1949...
  
  
• Arabs who left homes and property in Israel and many from other countries who joined Arab armies and did not want to return, remained in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, most as "refugees" under the care of UNRWA.
  
  
• This heterogeneous population was called "Arab refugees," not "Palestinians," because at the time there was no such group, or people.
  
  
• called "Arab refugees" was because there were many other refugees in Palestine,.. Hundreds of thousands of Jewish refugees from Arab countries streamed into Israel. UNRWA offered no aid...
  
  
• The designation "Palestinian" did not become widely accepted until after the war in 1967...
  
  
• As the PLO launched mega-terrorist attacks around the world, "Palestinianism" became accepted, backed by the Arab League, Muslim and "non-aligned" countries, and the United Nations.
  
  
• As the proportion of anti-Israel countries in the UN grew, "Palestinians" were given more and more recognition, support and legitimacy, unlike any other group.
  
  
• And the fraud worked! It worked so well because the world's media accepted the Palestinians' self-definition and their cause.
  
  
• Every time someone writes or speaks of "Palestinians" it reinforces this myth.

• I was standing in that holiest of places, which generations of Jews for 2,000 years could only dream of visiting, I was forbidden to pray. Simply moving my lips in whispered prayer could be grounds for removal. Why? Because I am a Jew. And only a Muslim can pray on the holiest site in Judaism. A Jew may not.
  
  DURING THE War of Independence in 1948, the Old City of Jerusalem fell to the Jordanians. Nearly 1,500 Jews, including many women and children, were killed.
  
  In June 1967, when Egypt, Syria and Jordan embarked on a war to annihilate the Jewish state, Israel recaptured Jerusalem's Old City.
  
  But then, in a mind-boggling display of attempted appeasement of an enemy that just days before had sought Israel's destruction, defense minister Moshe Dayan decided to allow the Muslim religious council, the Wakf, to retain administrative authority over the Temple Mount. Thus, a truly bizarre and unacceptable situation developed.

• I think it is time for us to realise that there is something going on in the United Nations that is working within an agenda far removed from Democratic Principles and Personal Freedoms that we expect.

What is the King's Calendar?
Definition: King's Calendar Chronological Research

The Premise: Between the 5th and 3rd centuries BCE (but continuing down to at least 104 BCE), Sectarian redactors transcribed the legitimate 'solar year' chronological records of Israel and Judah, into an artificial form, with listed years as each comprised of 12 months of 4 weeks of 7 days, or 336 days per year, thus creating a 13th artificial year where 12 solar years existed.

When the Synchronous Chronological Data provided in the Books of Kings and Chronicles for the Divided Kingdom Period are measured in years of 336 days, the synchronisms actually align. [Refer to Appendix 5. to see how it synchronises the Divided Kingdom Period]
