In my Preamble to the article entitled: The Suffering of the Palestinian People: Whose Fault? I wrote: "The Israeli Palestinian conflict has never been about the suffering masses of Palestinians at the hands of Israeli oppression."
I pointed out (as per Ari Shavit's Article - Olmert's arrogance: Haaretz : March 15,2006) that,
By 2010, The Palestinians will have achieved their objective - to have the entire Gaza Strip and 91 percent of the West Bank.
This they could have had long ago.
Why did they not take it?
Because to have taken it would have meant recognising Israel.
The Palestinian People have suffered because of the Anti-Semitic Palestinian Leadership
The suffering was needless
Since these articles were published, close to all out war has broken out in the Middle East, with Israel currently chasing after Hezbollah in Lebanon, and the whole world in hypocritical turmoil over it.
I say hypocritical turmoil, for as is plainly reported in the press, the real cause of all the current strife is the terror group leaderships, and now that things have gotten a little out of their control, they and the rest of the world wants Israel to again play the acquiescent holocaust Jew and stop struggling against Annihilation.
Senior Hizbullah official says group didn't expect Israel to react so strongly to capture of two Israeli soldiers last month; stresses Hizbullah will not lay down arms Associated Press
"The truth is - let me say this clearly - we didn't even expect (this) response.... That (Israel) would exploit this operation for this big war against us," said Komati. [emphasis added]
He said Hizbullah had expected "the usual, limited response" from Israel.
And there you have it!
Israel is expected to bear the brunt of all Arab aggression and be a good sport about it. And when it is not a good sport and fights back, it is not only accused of being an aggressor, but is threatened with further punishment for having the temerity to punish the initial aggression.
Calls for Israel's restraint, especially coming from Arabs, is sheer hypocrisy, for as children everywhere learned at some point in their lives: You shouldn't dish out what you don't want back!
In a wonderful show of hypocritical humanitarian concern, Saudi King Abdullah "appealed to the world Tuesday to stop IDF attacks on Lebanon, saying that if peace moves fail, the Middle East could be engulfed in war". Naturally many western idiots will nod their heads in agreement with the wisdom of his statement, even though this impassioned call for peace and calm only arose after it became obvious that the Anti-Semites had misjudged the ramifications of their latest game of 'Death to Israel!'
In a stunning demonstration of hypocrisy, the good king announced: "It must be said that patience can't last forever, and if the brutal Israeli military continues to kill and destroy, no one can foresee what may happen."
He is right of course. Patience does not last forever. In fact, I would say Israeli Patience has lasted far too long. Whose "people of the religion of peace" have for 60 years repeatedly tried to annihilate Israel?, and who is it that has it in it's charter to wipe Israel off the Map? (while the United Nations looks on singing "Hallelujah")
To those poor Palestinians who have suffered in many ways by the hand of Israel, and whose pitiable condition requires the financial assistance of the whole world while it's leadership spends such monies on arms and shoring up personal bank accounts, the Magnificent and Beneficent King has announced a donation of $250 million to relieve their plight.
This might have been a praise worthy act, if it had not also been recorded that he donated 1.5 billion dollars to Lebanon. With that amount of money to throw around, one wonders why the Palestinians have never before received that measure of beneficence. (or have they?) The fact is that the Palestinian People mean nothing to the Arab leadership, they are but a pawn in a game, and their suffering is a guarantee of world sympathy and a great PR tool.
Speaking of Public Relations, in the article What is Truth? A Political Camera Angle! (under the heading "Refugees from Israel"), I made reference to an article published by the Palestinian Media Watch, Bulletin:May 30, 2006, By Itamar Marcus and Barbara Crook (entitled: Who caused the Arab "refugee" problem? Refugee: Arab leaders told us to flee Israel in 1948 ) in which evidence was provided directly from so called Arab Refugees themselves, that it was the Arab Leadership that told them to flee Israel. The significance of this is that the Palestinian Leadership has always asserted that the Israelis were responsible for the Refugee crisis.
I stated there that it is because it suits Anti-Semitism's political agenda, that it's hatred of Israel is hidden behind a facade of “lying humanitarianism”, and that it does anything and everything in its' power to punish Israel for Palestinian suffering, despite the demonstrable evidence of the culpability of the various Palestinian leaderships.
Truth itself is the enemy of the Palestinian and other Arab Leadership, and this is once again exemplified in a very recent article entitled: PA detains Gazan editor for 'libel' By Khaled Abu Taomeh, in which it is reported that:
"A Palestinian editor from the Gaza Strip was detained on Monday by the Palestinian Authority for publishing a story about the theft of $400,000 from PA Foreign Minister Mahmoud Zahar while he was on a visit to Kuwait earlier this year."
It appears that the Hamas leadership did not like the implication that the Foreign Minister might have been corrupt, (even though the money was apparently just funds from Kuwait for Hamas), or the demoralising effect on the people of financially deprived Gaza, if they knew that some people actually have access to that much cash.
Abdullah Issa, the detained publisher and editor of the on-line magazine Donia al-Watan, is quoted as saying:
"If Zahar has the right to lodge complaints against journalists, then our people have the right to hold Hamas accountable for the deterioration in their living conditions
We were hoping that the Hamas government would start chasing and arresting all the murderers and thugs who continue to roam the streets of the Gaza Strip and to open all the cases of financial corruption."
Abdullah Issa's statements are hardly self-serving nor new, for as reported in Israel - Palestine 2006: This War Must not be in Vain, similar claims were made On July 14th 2006 by Mortimer Zuckerman in his article: Israel's last resort (N.Y.DailyNews), in which he says:
The Palestinians have given the lie to virtually all the scenarios so hopefully envisaged by their friends. They did not construct schools, roads and hospitals; they made no effort to turn Gaza into a thriving state. They elected a radical Islamic Hamas government. They permitted the smuggling of huge quantities of weapons and terrorists while creating new bases for terror. Palestinian society has descended ever more into advanced anarchy.
Despite all the lies, corruption and war mongering of the Palestinian Leadership (and now Hezbollah in Lebanon), still the world condemns Israel. Why?
The answer to that can be found in the above mentioned article, in two quotes from an article by Jim Kouri entitled: United Nations Shows True Colors During Israeli Fight Against Terrorism
But they must also observe what's happening in a building in Midtown Manhattan in which world leaders are plotting the New World Order, which means a maverick nation such as Israel must be destroyed. Israel stands in the way of the unification of the Middle East and the Muslim nations must be appeased even if 7 million Jews have to die. Sound familiar?
Ponder this: The United Nations has been discussing for months what resolutions regarding Iran and North Korea should be passed. But they were able to draw up a resolution and present it to their Security Council condemning Israel in a mere few hours. And it would have passed if the US didn't blocked it.
One cannot help but conclude that it is neither blindness nor stupidity that drives the world to support terrorism in the Middle East by constantly blaming Israel for it.
The answer must be: "The World actually and actively wants Israel and the Jews to Die!
NEW YORK (SATIRENEWSSERVICE) -- Yesterday, the General Assembly of the United Nations voted 190 to 4 with one abstention in favor of an Egyptian and Jordanian sponsored resolution that commends Israel's "disproportionately restrained responses in opposing decades of terror, deadly provocation and military assaults." The resolution also condemns Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran for committing mass-murder against Jews and large-scale felony-murder against Arabs.
Abbas continued: "All of our acts have been counterproductive and have led to the current disaster. If we had used our energy these past four decades to create prosperity, we would be as rich as Singapore. Instead, terror organizations like Hamas and Hezbollah bring us death and destruction by causing naive Arab civilians to bear the brunt of their -- and our -- hatefulness."
The UNHRC's resolution effectively delegitimized Israel's right to exist by denying that it has a right to defend its territory and its people from illegal aggression carried out by an illegal terrorist organization.
Mohamed ElBaradei, the UN's International Atomic Energy Agency's virulently anti-Israel chairman, announced a deal has been reached between Iran and the US, Russia and France regarding Iran's nuclear program.
But now that the administration has agreed to an accord that effectively transforms America into a facilitator of Iran's nuclear weapons program, the time has come for Israel to start voicing its objections.
Colonel Richard Kemp (the former commander of British forces in Afghanistan), who said, "From my knowledge of the IDF and from the extent to which I have been following the current operation, I do not think there has ever been a time in the history of warfare when an army has made more efforts to reduce civil casualties and deaths of innocent people than the IDF is doing today in Gaza."
Every time someone writes, speaks of ‘Palestinians’ a myth is reinforced
Israel eventually negotiated an armistice in 1949...
Arabs who left homes and property in Israel and many from other countries who joined Arab armies and did not want to return, remained in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, most as "refugees" under the care of UNRWA.
This heterogeneous population was called "Arab refugees," not "Palestinians," because at the time there was no such group, or people.
called "Arab refugees" was because there were many other refugees in Palestine,.. Hundreds of thousands of Jewish refugees from Arab countries streamed into Israel. UNRWA offered no aid...
The designation "Palestinian" did not become widely accepted until after the war in 1967...
As the PLO launched mega-terrorist attacks around the world, "Palestinianism" became accepted, backed by the Arab League, Muslim and "non-aligned" countries, and the United Nations.
As the proportion of anti-Israel countries in the UN grew, "Palestinians" were given more and more recognition, support and legitimacy, unlike any other group.
And the fraud worked! It worked so well because the world's media accepted the Palestinians' self-definition and their cause.
Every time someone writes or speaks of "Palestinians" it reinforces this myth.
I was standing in that holiest of places, which generations of Jews for 2,000 years could only dream of visiting, I was forbidden to pray. Simply moving my lips in whispered prayer could be grounds for removal. Why? Because I am a Jew. And only a Muslim can pray on the holiest site in Judaism. A Jew may not.
DURING THE War of Independence in 1948, the Old City of Jerusalem fell to the Jordanians. Nearly 1,500 Jews, including many women and children, were killed.
In June 1967, when Egypt, Syria and Jordan embarked on a war to annihilate the Jewish state, Israel recaptured Jerusalem's Old City.
But then, in a mind-boggling display of attempted appeasement of an enemy that just days before had sought Israel's destruction, defense minister Moshe Dayan decided to allow the Muslim religious council, the Wakf, to retain administrative authority over the Temple Mount. Thus, a truly bizarre and unacceptable situation developed.
I think it is time for us to realise that there is something going on in the United Nations that is working within an agenda far removed from Democratic Principles and Personal Freedoms that we expect.
