Biological or actual fathers of the children accounted for 7 percent of the incidents of sexual abuse, while "combination" fathers (men who were biologically related to one victim and the stepfather of another) were responsible for another 7 percent.

Men's and fathers' rights groups prefer to lump unproven yet most likely true allegations of abuse into the bona fide false allegations category.

I remember in Australia many years ago, the horrendous time that the Chamberlains were put through, because everyone preferred to believe that Lindy Chamberlain murdered her daughter Azaria, rather than believe the story that a dingo stole the baby.
In the intervening years since Lindy Chamberlain was pardoned, numerous similar incidents have occurred, even to the point of a 9 year old boy being killed by a dingo. I think that no one today seriously believes that Lindy Chamberlain killed her child. This is what can happen when we prefer to believe our own philosophies.
I also remember that a few years ago in Australia, a young school boy made allegations of sexual misconduct against a male teacher. This was in fact, the second time that this boy had made such allegations. On the first occasion, the male teacher lost his career, his reputation, his wife and his children.
On the second occasion, the charge was actually disproved. After further investigation by police in relation to the first matter, the boy confessed that he had on that occasion, also lied. He destroyed a man's life.
What we want to believe and what is true are not always the same, and we can't blame either side of the fence [in relation to the Men's group figures] for promoting what they believe. We are however required to stick with the actual evidence.
The question that needs answering, is: What does the empirical evidence require us to accept?

A New York man was freed after enduring over 20 years in prison for a rape he didn't commit and he's one of the lucky ones.
The result: 60% of the accusations were identified as false. McDowell also took his study outside the military by examining police files from a major midwestern city and a southwestern city. He found again that 60% of the claims of rape were false.
But feminists and left-wing activists will dismiss these studies as biased because men where involved. For instance, one feminist, Wendy Kaminer, stated that "it is a primary article of faith among many feminists that women don't lie about rape, ever; they lack the dishonesty gene." Anyone believing women lack a dishonesty gene never dated women. If they do lack that gene, then someone out there is performing miraculous surgery to implant that gene. What's so amazing about such statements is: they are not based on any scientific evidence; and it is a sexist premise.
Women are responsible for more than half of all child abuse cases in Queensland and are much more likely to neglect their children than men, a new report has found.
The report shows there were 13,184 substantiated child abuse cases across Queensland in 2005-06. Women were responsible for 7,319 - or 55.5 per cent - of cases, and males for 5,846, or 44.3 per cent.
In 2005-06, females were responsible for 80.2 per cent of all cases of neglect - 3,283 cases compared 799 cases for men.
Child Safety Minister Desley Boyle said the findings shattered society's image of the caring and devoted mother and the belief that men were more likely to abuse children. "We have an idealised image of mothers - that they feed their kids before themselves - but I'm sorry to say, it's not always true," Ms Boyle said.
Abuse

Yesterday, Wednesday November 14th, 2012 at about 11am Beijing Time or about dawn in Israel, I published an article at Kingscalendar asking why Israel does not fight back. This morning (7 am Beijing Time) I read that Israel had commenced operations against Gaza. Tonight (6.15pm Beijing Time) as I sit in China reading world news I am disgusted by what I see.
What other country in history has ever been required to provide all the basic necessities to enable their enemy to attack and murder them? Until Israel wakes up to the fact that no one really cares about Israel or Jews; until Israel wakes up that Political Correctness is just a tool by which people can hide their true feelings whilst showing a compassionate face, then Israel is doing nothing more than committing slow suicide. No one cares! No one wants Israel there! They all want to lick the boots of Activist Agendas and Arab Oil and they believe that Israel is worth sacrificing if it means peace from terrorism (but it won't).
Mingxing's company had booked him into the upmarket Kempinski Hotel in Wuxi and he organized and paid for one extra day so that we could go sightseeing. There are two photos in Part one that relate to the Kempinski Hotel Room, but this photo is of the lavish foyer of the Hotel as taken from the first floor landing above the coffee shop. Whilst the Big Buddha is the 'centerpiece' so to speak, the real spectacular is to be found in the Cultural Museum. This place is one helluva spectacular place inside. It sits directly opposite the replica of the Potala Palace, and when you enter you are required to put coverings over your shoes. I suspect that the real reason is to cut down on the cleaning bill. This place was crowded and all those people shuffling along wearing shoe protectors gave the marble floor a really high sheen.
