Articles on Islam, Terrorism, Middle East:The Palestinian agenda at UNESCO is the de-Judaization of the land of Israel by Islamizing the holy sites.. They have already established bases through Hezbollah and Hamas, they are involved in Syria and Iraq and want to shake up the entire Middle East.. Saudi Arabia and Bahrain expect the US to alter its policy, and resort to steps which are required to remove the Iranian nuclear threat.. the United Kingdom had illegally ceded the Trans-Jordan to the refugees from the Saudi Arabian Peninsula. And the United Nation's partition plan of the remaining parts of Palestine in 1947 was also illegal.
Is your promise worth anything? Does the Arab League indeed function as a relevant and effective body? In the covenant of the Arab League, which all of the Arab states have signed, there are articles that state principles of behavior among yourselves, but you behave in the totally opposite way!! Article 5 prohibits your states from using force against each other. Were there not wars between Egypt and Libya? Between Egypt and Sudan? Between Saudi Arabia and Yemen? Between Iraq and Kuwait? Between Syria and Iraq? And while we're on the subject of Syria and Iraq, Article 6 of the League's covenant states that if a foreign state attacks an Arab state, the League must take measures against this attacker. What did you do when your brother, Saddam Hussein, was attacked in 2003 by foreign states? Not only did you not help him but you joined the attackers!!! So can anyone trust you?
Fans of the Arab League proposal ignore fundamental Middle East constraints, which are highlighted by the non-existence of a single Arab democracy, the AWOL of intra-Arab comprehensive peace, the lack of intra-Arab ratification of all intra-Arab borders and the absence of compliance with most intra-Arab agreements for the last 1,400 years. Why would anyone assume that Arabs would shower upon the "infidel” Jewish State that which they have never shared among themselves – a long-term comprehensive peace carved in stone?!
Palestinian suffering on the other hand, continues no matter what happens and how much support they receive from the United Nations, the European Union and the Arab countries. The Palestinian Leadership dream of Nirvana is for their people (not they themselves) to be martyred for the cause and fly up to Allah. The Jewish dream is to turn Israel into a land flowing with milk and honey, and to enjoy the fatness thereof. Their dream is not to survive, but to LIVE AND PROSPER. Israelis don't dream of migrating to the US.... Ultimately, Israel's existence is living proof that HE who scattered them across the face of the earth 2000 years ago has in fact called them home. And I believe that idea is the fundamental cause for both Muslim angst and the blatant anti-Semitism of the 'anti-God' culturally Marxist, politically correct, activist agendas.
This article is not about 'putting women or gays in their place' but a warning about the day not far off, when they will indeed be put in their place by a people determined to take over the world at any cost. I speak of course of Islam. The Western World is asleep or otherwise so preoccupied with its politically correct agendas. that it doesn't see the forest for the trees.
The states of the Middle East are the result of French and English colonialism. The absurd borderlines we see on the map were probably drawn by some Intelligence Officer in the British Military Headquarters during the first World War. The decline of Europe allows the Arabs to be free of the diplomatic structure it had created in the Middle East and the basic concepts, such as 'Nation' and 'National state', in which it had been anchored. "The Syrian nation" is a good metaphor for the matter. Syria is not a nation, it's citizens are not one people, and Assad is not "massacring his own people". The citizens of Syria are a collection of various religious groups, ethnic groups, tribes and clans, who don't have much in common, except for the shared ideology of "might makes right", and definitely do not have a national identity in the European sense of the word.
The Mavi Marmara was an eminently predictable fight. The Turkish group that hired the boat was an al-Qaeda-affiliated Turkish NGO named IHH. In 1999, the Turkish government was so wary of IHH that it barred the group from participating in relief efforts following a devastating earthquake. IHH's fortunes shifted with the rise of its fellow Islamists in the AKP Justice and Development Party led by Recep Tayip Erdogan. The AKP won the 2002 elections and has since been reelected twice. By 2010, Prime Minster Erdogan had a long track record of anti-Israel actions. Indeed, by 2010, Erdogan had effectively destroyed the strategic alliance Israel had developed with Turkey since 1949. In 2006, Erdogan was the first major international leader and NATO member to host Hamas terror chief Ismail Haniyeh. The same year he allowed Iran to use Turkish territory to transfer weaponry to Hezbollah during the Second Lebanon War.
From a purely analytic viewpoint, Michael Collins was absolutely critical in the advancement of modern terrorist & insurgency organizations. In following the timeline through the 20th Century terrorist groups, it appears that virtually ALL groups have and are following, the IRA Model.
Just like President Carter's reckless abandonment of the Shah and his courting of Khomeini, President Obama turned his back on America's ally, Mubarak, while extending his hand to America's inherent enemy, the trans-national, subversive Muslim Brotherhood. The desertion of Mubarak undermined US reliability in the eyes of pro-US Saudi Arabia, Jordan and the Gulf States. Furthermore, the newly-elected President promoted the UN as the quarterback of international relations and the US as a multilateral arbitrator/mediator, rather than a unilateral, determined military superpower. Such a policy has eroded America's posture of deterrence, which is the backbone of the dwindling club of pro-US Arab regimes.
As I write these words, a Jewish toddler injured in a Palestinian terror attack is lying in a hospital bed struggling for her life. After all, when a Palestinian picks up a stone and throws it at an Israeli vehicle, he is not expressing outrage or protesting against some perceived wrongdoing. He is making a conscious decision to grab hold of a potentially deadly object and send it hurtling through the air in order to cause bodily harm. This is not about a group of kids tossing pebbles on the water at the beach. It is a group of thugs trying to terrorize people and intimidate them from making safe use of the roads. And it must be stopped.
"If the Arabs have so easily and violently violated domestic and regional agreements among themselves, can anybody reasonably expect them to handle agreements with the Jewish state in a more peaceful manner?" So the regime changes across the region don't signal a transformation to democracy. "Any new arrangement in the Arab countries will be subjected to the above tenets of the Middle East," Ettinger continued. "In other words, any arrangement by definition would be provisional. Agreements in the Middle East are signed in ice, not carved in stone."
In an interview from February 4th, 2013, given on "Good Morning Palestine", a Palestinian radio show, Amayel said: "That one settler called Nadia Matar accomplished that which, unfortunately, groups and countries failed to. With plans of theft and robbery, she steals more and more land, day by day, and cultivates it. I briefly say that this woman, despite her unmatched aggressive and racist spirit, serves as an example to us, the owners of the land.
According to a report named Christiana-phobia, by the think tank Civitas: The "lion's share" of persecution faced by Christians arises in countries where Islam is the dominant faith. Between half and two-thirds of Christians in the Middle East have left the region or have been killed in the past century. "There is now a serious risk that Christianity will disappear from its biblical heartlands," it claims.
I want to note that the audience was made up of upper crust, wealthy British people, not unwashed rabble rousers. And yet they behaved in many respects like a mob when presented with pro-Israel positions. I was prepared to conduct a civilized debate based on facts and reasoned argumentation. I expected it to be a difficult experience. I was not expecting to be greeted by a well-dressed mob. My pessimism about Europeans' capacity to avail themselves to reasoned, fact-based argumentation about Israel has only deepened from the experience. We debated Daniel Levy, one of the founders of J-Street and the drafter of the Geneva Initiative, and the son of Lord Michael Levy, one of Tony Blair's biggest fundraisers; and William Sieghart, a British philanthropist who runs a non-profit that among other things, champions Hamas. Levy has publicly stated that Israel's creation was immoral. And Sieghart has a past record of saying that Israel's delegitimization would be a salutary process and calling for a complete cultural boycott of Israel while lauding Hamas.
In contrast to the Palestine Firsters, Arab societies minimize assistance to Palestinians, as evidenced in the reluctance of Jordan -- as well as Lebanon and Egypt - to absorb Palestinian refugees from Syria, while welcoming over 100,000 Syrian refugees. In contrast with the worldview of Hagel and other Palestine Firsters, none of the tectonic developments on the stormy Arab Street derives from the Palestinian issue, the Arab-Israeli conflict or Israel's policies or existence. Irrespective of the Palestinian issue, Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Lebanon and Algeria experience boiling seismic undercurrents, exacerbating the 1,400 year old intra-Muslim instability, unpredictability and violence, as well as anti-US sentiments.
Annexing Judea and Samaria: The speakers discussed the practical aspects of applying sovereignty: How it should be done, what the status of the Arabs in Judea and Samaria will be, and what are the anticipated reactions from the Arab and Western worlds. The Minister of Public Diplomacy and Diaspora Affairs, Yuli Edelstein, also mentioned that even the application of sovereignty over Jerusalem, decades ago, did not make the world accept construction in all parts of the city, so there is no reason to worry about the international response.
The Palestinian agenda at UNESCO is the de-Judaization of the land of Israel by Islamizing the holy sites. Oras Hamdan Taha, the Palestinian minister who deals with antiquities and gets funds from UNESCO, made clear, "it's writing or rewriting the history of Palestine." Less known is that the Vatican institutions are collaborating with the Palestinian autocracy. They recently also declared their support for waving a Palestinian flag over over the Temple Mount in the heart of ancient Jerusalem. Next in line is Rachel's Tomb, Judaism's third most holy site.
Iran's Revolutionary Guard is gaining control over Iraq's domestic affairs. The presumption that the Arab Street is experiencing an "Arab Spring," whereby democracy-seeking youth, independents and moderate Islamists collaborate in the effort to topple despotic regimes, has crashed against the rocks of Middle East chaotic reality.
Israel should raze the 1,100 illegal Arab homes built annually in Jerusalem and the thousands of illegal Arab homes in Judea and Samaria. Israel's government razes illegal Jewish homes in Judea and Samaria. The strategic goal of Abbas is to uproot the Jewish State and not, merely, the Jewish settlements in Judea and Samaria.
In 1920 Haj Amin el Husseini personally invented what later became known as the Palestinian national movement. He shaped its identity around the sole cause of destroying the Jewish presence in the land of Israel. On November 28, 1941 Husseini met with Adolf Hitler in Berlin. Husseini and Himmler had planned that under German occupation, the Arabs would expand the Holocaust to the 800,000 Jews of the Arab world and the 450,000 Jews in the land of Israel.
She found herself face to face with a knife-wielding Palestinian terrorist from Gaza. And so began a fight to the death between an unarmed 39 year- old mother of four and an armed terrorist in Sde Avraham, a neighborhood in southern Israel's Eshkol region near Gaza. Only Maariv (newspaper) put Yael and her heroic battle on its front page. Yediot Aharonot put it on page 25. As for the foreign press, I didn't read a single word about Marauding, barbaric terrorist murderers who seek out babies in their beds
On Wednesday, the Iranian Parliament's Speaker Ali Larijani said on Iranian television that the Quds Force -- Iran's special forces -- has provided military aid to the Palestinian "resistance groups" in the Gaza Strip. The Palestinians living under the rule of the Palestinian National Authority in the West Bank totally refrained from becoming involved in this latest conflict.
Israel is designated by Hamas, the PLO, as well as most Muslim/Arab regimes in the Middle East, as "The Little Satan," due to its values and unconditional alliance with "The Big Satan," the USA. Israel confronts Hamas, which -- just like the Arab Middle East -- is increasingly dominated by the intolerant, supremacist 7th century aspects of Islam. The 2012 Arab Street in Gaza, Ramallah and throughout the Middle East is growing more Islamic and less democratic. Contemporary Middle East Muslim societies embrace Jihad (Holy War), execution of apostates, "honor killing" of women by their own relatives and the genital mutilation of (90% of young Egyptian) women. While Western democracies cherish life, Hamas and the PLO consecrate Shuhada - martyrdom and suicide bombing -- and the virulent use of human shields.
"It is the total annihilation of Israel and the Jews. This is what the center of the educational system in the whole Arab world is. We were taught Jerusalem is a Muslim city; Jews had nothing to do with it, and we have to liberate it... This is now coming to the West, this fear that I used to live in the Muslim world - with the fear of speaking my mind, fear of saying the truth - is now following me to America... My culture of origin is now infecting America with fear of speaking the truth." - Nonie Darwish
Yesterday, Wednesday November 14th, 2012 at about 11am Beijing Time or about dawn in Israel, I published an article at Kingscalendar asking why Israel does not fight back. This morning (7 am Beijing Time) I read that Israel had commenced operations against Gaza. Tonight (6.15pm Beijing Time) as I sit in China reading world news I am disgusted by what I see.
Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Oman register with the US Congress their anxiety about a nuclear Iran, which would devastate their pro-US regimes. They urge the US to preempt and relieve them of a lethal threat, just as Israel did in 1981, preempting Iraq's nuclear drive, thus ridding pro-US Gulf regimes of a nuclear Saddam Hussein.
According to a June, 2012 study by the Washington-based Population Reference Bureau (PRB), 72% of 15-49 year old Palestinian married women prefer to avoid pregnancy, as are 78% in Morocco, 71% in Jordan, 69% in Egypt and Libya, 68% in Syria, 63% in Iraq and 61% in Yemen. The PRB study states that "a growing number of women are using contraception, as family planning services have expanded in the Arab region." The unprecedented fertility decline in the Muslim world was documented in June, 2012 by Dr. Nicholas Eberstadt, a leading demographer at the American Enterprise Institute, and Apoorva Shah of the Hoover Institute.
What is always impossible for me to comprehend is the fact that Muslims of all nationalities--even those raised in Western democracies--are much less bothered by the deaths of innocent bystanders who happen to get in the way of Muslim protesters than they are of someone drawing cartoons or making movies about the Prophet Mohammed; they are sensitive to little things, like cartoons or tasteless movies mocking their endlessly eventful religion, yet are insensitive to murder and bloodletting on any scale.
The Muslim Brotherhood's official English-language Twitter account said it was "relieved none of US embassy staff was hurt" and expressed hope that US-Egyptian relations would survive intact. At the same time the Brotherhood's Arabic-language Twitter account and its official website were both praising the protests... and calling for a million man march on Friday". The US Embassy in Cairo picked up the contradiction and tweeted: 'Thanks. By the way, have you checked out your own Arabic feeds? I hope you know we read those too.'
"They have already established bases through Hezbollah and Hamas, they are involved in Syria and Iraq and want to shake up the entire Middle East," Peres said in a statement issued by his office. The president stated he does not believe the United States and the Western world will ignore Iran's pursuit of nuclear weapons and regional hegemony.
The murder of nearly 3,000 persons on 9/11 was planned while President Clinton extended his hand to the Muslim World, in general, and to the Palestinians, in particular. The October 12, 2000 murder of seventeen USS Cole sailors occurred when Clinton brokered unprecedented Israeli concessions to the Palestinian. The August 27, 1998 murder of 257 persons at the US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania took place while Clinton brutally pressured Prime Minister Netanyahu. The 1995/6 murder of 19 US soldiers in Riyadh and Khobar Towers was carried out while Clinton courted Arafat. The December 21, 1988 murder of 270 PanAm-103 passengers took place a few months following the groundbreaking recognition of the PLO by Reagan. The April/October 1983 murder of 300 Marines at the US Embassy and the Marines headquarters in Beirut occurred while Reagan interfered with Israel's hot pursuit of the PLO, blasting Israel for its war on PLO terrorism.
Indeed some outrages against plain level-headedness can beggar even the most prolific of imaginations. For instance, presumptive Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's reference to Jerusalem as Israel's capital sent shockwaves of horror reverberating around the world. Obama's calculated agenda culminated in two farcical incidents this year. In March, his secretary of state's spokeswoman, Victoria Nuland, was adamant that no Israeli capital exists, leastways not one she could name. More recently, White House spokesman Jay Carney stood discomfited on his podium, unable to identify Israel's capital. The best he could muster were stock inanities like: "You know our policy," and, "Our policy hasn't changed." In comparison, Romney comes up trumps. No contest. But that's only for folks whose common sense cannot be twisted with a few syrupy sentences, folks who still know that remembering isn't divisive and racist, that murder isn't loving and unifying. Such an unyielding mind-set is judged untrendy and uncool, much as is Romney's acknowledgment of the ancient ties of the Jewish people to the cradle of their nationhood. In our topsy-turvy existence, he dared to brazenly overstep the enlightened ones' mark.
In 2012, Jews constitute a two-third majority in the area (66% exactly). When Israel declared its independence in 1947, there was an opposite ratio (one third of Jews). In 1900, Jews were an 8% minority. So far, therefore, time has been on the Jews' side. The question is whether time will continue to be on our side. Recent demographic trends suggest that the answer is positive.
Tom Friedman's pro-PLO, pro-Palestinian stance dates back to his active involvement, while at Brandeis University, in the pro-Arafat radical-Left "Middle East Peace Group" and "Breirah" organizations. T.F. underestimated the surge of the non-Facebook trans-national Muslim Brotherhood and its credo: "Allah is our objective; the Quran is our law; the Prophet is our leader; Jihad [Holy War] is our way; and martyrdom for the sake of Allah is the highest of our aspirations." To T.F.'s frustration, the Muslim Brotherhood aims to consolidate Islamic Sharia' as the legal foundation in Muslim and "infidel" lands, as a prelude to the reestablishment of the Islamic Caliphate.
Israel's peace agreement with Jordan constitutes a second reason for questioning the de jure application of the laws of belligerent occupation to the West Bank. As Yoram Dinstein wrote some time ago, the rules of belligerent occupation cannot be applied to Israel's presence in the West Bank "in light of the combined effect of ... the Jordanian-Israeli Treaty of Peace of 1994 and the series of agreements with the Palestinians. There is simply no room for belligerent occupation in the absence of belligerence, namely, war."
In November 2012, Americans will elect all 435 members of the House of Representatives, 33 U.S. senators and thousands of state and local elected officials, some of whom will eventually reach Capitol Hill. According to a July 23, 2012 Rasmussen national poll, since mid-2009, Republican congressional candidates have been systematically more popular than Democrats. 43% of likely voters would vote for Republican congressional candidates, if the election were held today, while 40% would elect Democrats.
A top official from Bahrain told me, at the office of a senior member of the US House of Representatives Armed Services Committee, that "Saudi Arabia and Bahrain expect the US to alter its policy, and resort to steps which are required to remove the Iranian nuclear threat." A national security advisor to a senior member of the US Senate Armed Services Committee shared with me that "Pro-US Persian Gulf leaders are panicky about the rising Iranian nuclear threat." Saudi Arabia and the Gulf regimes – which are considered apostates by Teheran's Ayatollahs - are aware that, unlike nuclear Pakistan and North Korea, the Ayatollahs of Iran have imperialistic-megalomaniac aspirations to dominate the Persian Gulf, the Middle East and (at least) the entire Moslem World.
The poll was conducted separately among Arabs living in Gaza and Judea and Samaria. A total of 72.9% answered that there is corruption in PA institutions under the control of President Mahmoud Abbas. Some 61% said there is corruption in PA institutions under the control of the Hamas government in the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian Authority track record of the 19 years, since Oslo, has been top heavy on hate-education, incitement, terrorism, non-compliance, corruption, repression of fellow Palestinians, support of arch terrorists such as Bin-Laden and Saddam Hussein, support of anti-US terrorists in Afghanistan and Iraq, friendship with Russia, China, North Korea, Iran and other enemies and rivals of the US and Western democracies.
We have King Amaziah who may or may not have been ruling for half the period allotted him; his son Uzziah, whose independent reign may or may not have occupied 52 years; Jotham who was governor for his sick father Uzziah; Ahaz for whom are recorded contradictory narratives, and Hezekiah whose 6th year was 722 BCE and whose 14th year was 701 BCE and who was visited by a King who was no longer a king at a period of time when records seems to be a composite of different events. That then was the world as it was 2700 years ago at the time the seal mentioning Bethlehem existed. One can only wonder what Bethlehem - the birthplace of that great Muslim Jesus of Nazareth - was like. We do however know what it is like today.
As ridiculous as this poor attempt at fiction may be, it's not far off from what CNN, the New York Times, or the Washington Post would have you believe is going on in Israel today. The mainstream media in the United States relish portraying this perception of hostility and violence between Jews and Arabs throughout Israel. It feeds upon the natural apprehension people visiting Israel have embarking upon their trip. My first trip to Israel was in 1968 during the heat of the Viet Nam War and the race riots of that era. Many Israelis believed each time a White person encountered a Black person a fight was inevitable. Here again perceptions, misconceptions perpetuated by a news media with greater concern for peddling a point of view and selling a product rather than portraying news in an unbiased, neutral manner.
US mediation has yet to produce a single Israel-Arab peace treaty. The attempt to be an honest-broker between Israel and the Palestinians has defied reality and US interests. US mediation has been based on the false assumption that the Arab-Israeli conflict is a root cause of Middle East turbulence, creating a delusional linkage between the 100 year old Arab --Israeli conflict and the overarching endemic 1,400 year old Mid-East intra-Muslim turbulence. In 2012, Saudi Arabia and most Arab countries yearn for a US, or Israeli, military preemption against Iran, which they consider a clear and present lethal threat. They are anti-Israel and wish its destruction, but they do not consider the Arab-Israeli conflict, or the Palestinian issue, to be their primary concerns. They understand that when smothered by a sandstorm, one should not be preoccupied with tumbleweeds!
Emad el-Din Adeeb, a columnist of the London-based Arab daily, A-Sharq al-Awsat, wrote on February 4, 2012: "I sorrowfully say, God bless the days of Saddam Hussein, compared to today's Iraq!... Iraq has been dismantled, and is now practically divided into three minor states: the Kurdish, Sunni and Shiite regions.... The number of Iranian Revolutionary Guards in Iraq amounts to 200,000 armed troops. This is in addition to the fact that some government correspondence in Baghdad is now written in both Persian and Kurdish.... The state has shifted into a major power center for extremist Islamic currents that threaten national and regional security, most prominently al-Qaeda.... The Iraqi authorities want to relocate the late President Saddam Hussein's corpse from his grave - because of the numerous visits and crowds gathering nearby-- to an unknown or remote place.... Judging by what happened in Tunisia, Egypt and Libya, no one believes change in Syria will be democratic in the long term. It will bring to power a sectarian Islamic fundamentalist party. Instability will continue to be the order of the day."
With Obama getting low-marks from Jews in Israel and in the United States, the Obama State Department announced that Israel and the United States will conduct the largest-ever joint military exercise. The stated purpose of exercise is the testing of U.S. and Israel's defenses against ballistic missiles, but the hidden agenda, according to the intelligence source, is to have the military exercise as close to the 2012 election as possible so that the failing U.S. President may reclaim the Jewish vote.
Contrary to political correctness, Palestine was never an Arab entity with a unique national, geographic, cultural, identity. It was part of a larger entity, and its Arab inhabitants considered themselves as part of the Arab, Moslem, Ottoman or the Greater-Syria entities. George Habib Antonius, the leading historian of Arab nationalism, considered Palestine to be part of Greater Syria. Most Palestinian Arabs are descendants of the 1845-1947 Muslim migrants from the Sudan, Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, as well as from Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Yemen, Libya, Morocco, Bosnia, the Caucasus, Turkmenistan, Kurdistan, India, Afghanistan and Balochistan.
Let's "keep in mind" that Afghanistan and Syria pose no immediate threat to Michael Bell or to the University of Windsor. Because he is not living in Tel Aviv, one should not expect Mr. Bell to be concerned with the "unintended consequences" of a nuclear attack from Iran: easy for him to forbid Prime Minister Netanyahu the prudence of even entertaining "the thought of attacking Iran's nuclear facilities." Only a former Canadian ambassador not living in Tel Aviv would be spouting such bromidic counsels to those who do. Ambassadors, after all, in the tradition of fools like Neville Chamberlain, have never been known to hang around for the wars they promised would never transpire.
Independent of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, 2011 has exposed the Mid-East as the role model of intra-Arab/Muslim violence, volatility, shifty regimes, policies and alliances, instability, uncertainty, unpredictability, corruption, hate education, treachery, non-compliance, and intra-Muslim/Arab fragmentation along tribal, ethnic, religious, ideological and geographic lines. Arab leaders are concerned about potential Palestinian-driven subversion, which caused the expulsion of Arafat, Mahmoud Abbas and their PLO associates from Egypt in the late 1950s, from Syria in 1966, from Jordan in 1970, from Lebanon in 1982/3 and from Kuwait in 1991.
Forty years of US economic sanctions against North Korea - which does not harbor Iran-like megalomaniac aspirations - have failed to topple the regime or prevent its nuclearization. Fifty years of sanctions against Cuba has, also, reaffirmed the constraints of sanctions against rogue regimes, which subject their people to ruthless dictatorships and ideological brainwashing. Refraining from preemption would gravely destabilize the Mid-East and beyond. The only effective way to prevent (Iran's nuclearization and its devastating cost) is to preempt!
There is no Palestinian land plain and simple. If there was: When was it founded and by whom? What were its borders and the name of its capital? What were its major cities? What constituted the basis of its economy? What form of government did it live under? Was Palestine ever recognized as an entity by another country? By whom? What was the language of the country called Palestine? What was Palestine's religion? What was the name of its currency? Since there is no country today, what caused her demise? These questions were posed by a Japanese writer, Yashiko Sagamori. Only the most revisionist adherent of the Palestinian narrative could even attempt to answer her queries. Pose these same questions regarding Israel and Jewish connection to this land, and except for the willfully blind and delusional, which admittedly there are many, each can be factually answered.
The thing I find most bizarre about this peculiar Islamic constant (Islamic death threats against Israel and her Jews) is that Western journalists continue to exculpate Islam the religion as being innocent of such malefic proclamations. The UK tabloid Daily Mail even referred to the Iranian web-site (Alef), from whence the document was first released, as "conservative." Conservative? If issuing genocidal death-threats against the Jewish people and the nation of Israel is "conservative," then a majority of Western journalists are not to be trusted when it comes to their take on any subject relating to the Jewish people and the State of Israel.
Adel Al Toraifi, the Editor-in-Chief of the London-based Arab affairs magazine, Al Majalla accurately analyzed the Muslim Brotherhood's political sophistication. He quoted the former Muslim Brotherhood's Supreme Guide, Mahda Akef: "for us, democracy is like a pair of slippers that we wear until we reach the bathroom, and then we take them off." Al Toraifi maintains that "The Muslim Brotherhood is skilled at political planning and tactics.... Those who expect - or hope - that the Muslim Brotherhood will...resemble the Islamist experience in Turkey, have no concrete evidence for this whatsoever, rather this is merely wishful thinking."
Boko Haram (translated: "Western or non-Islamic education is a sin") is a controversial Islamist group that seeks the imposition of Shariah law in the northern states of Nigeria. The group's official name is Jama'atu Ahlis Sunna Lidda'awati wal-Jihad, which in Arabic means "People Committed to the Propagation of the Prophet's Teachings and Jihad."
In fact, Abu Mazen's engagement with terrorism is in line with Islamic history since the murder of Muhammad's successors: Umar ibn al-Khattab was stabbed to death at a mosque in Medina in 644 AD; Uthman ibn Affan was assassinated in 656 AD; Ali ibn Abi Talib was slain in 661 AD outside a mosque in Kufa. Most contemporary Muslim regimes rise to power through violence and terrorism, rule through state-sponsored terrorism and lose power to elements, which are more skillful with tools of violence. In 1829, John Quincy Adams, the 6th US President, wrote: "The precept of the Koran is perpetual war against all who deny that Mohammad is the prophet of God."
Arab migrant workers were imported by the Ottoman Empire and by the British Mandate (which defeated the Ottomans in 1917) for infrastructure projects: The port of Haifa, the Haifa-Qantara, Haifa-Edrei, Haifa-Nablus and Jerusalem-Jaffa railroads, military installations, roads, quarries, reclamation of wetlands, etc. Illegal Arab laborers were also attracted by the relative economic boom, stimulated by Jewish immigration
Marshaling his experience as a former Chairman of the House Budget Committee, Clinton's White House Chief-of-Staff and member of the board of the New York Stock Exchange, Panetta has praised the "Technological Youth Revolution" on the Arab Street. He misperceives the eruption of the Islamic political lava, which consumes and destabilizes relatively pro-Western Arab regimes, as an "Arab awakening" and the "March of Democracy."
In defiance of an unpredictably raging Mid-East, the New Mid-Easterners call for a quick transition to democracy in Egypt and in other Arab countries. In spite of intensified intra-Arab violence, non-compliance, shifty policies and unreliability, the New Mid-Easterners call for Israel to assume more risks for peace and concede the mountain ridges of Judea and Samaria, which tower over Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and 80% of Israel's infrastructure. The West has provided tailwind to the replacement of pro-Western ruthless dictators with anti-Western ruthless dictators, rendering Arab regimes increasingly concerned about Western reliability and their own survivability.
Western observers tend to ignore the significance of the 1,400 year old monopoly of Islam over the religious, educational, social and political aspects of every Arab country. Such a repressive monopoly guarantees an Islamic victory in every "democratic" process. Furthermore, a fundamental incompatibility exists between liberty-driven Western democracy and liberty-devoid Islam. Arab regimes dread freedom of religion, freedom of expression, freedom of speech, free competition, free press, free Internet and free minds.
This means that the United Kingdom had illegally ceded the Trans-Jordan to the refugees from the Saudi Arabian Peninsula. And the United Nation's partition plan of the remaining parts of Palestine in 1947 was also illegal. In addition, in spite of the fact that the partition plan was devised to sabotage the creation of the Jewish homeland (the creation of two states on six ugly triangles - a completely unworkable political map). The Arabs rejected it! Therefore, they lost any legal standing on the land. They knew it and that is one reason why seven Muslim states declared the war on Israel in 1948!
"After four decades of brutal dictatorship and eight months of deadly conflict, the Libyan people can now celebrate their freedom and the beginning of a new era of promise." But a mere four days after executing its dictator Moamar Khadhafi, members of Libya's interim government announced their plans to introduce Islamic law, also known as Sharia, instead of formulating a secular constitution.
On September 28th the world was supposed to celebrate, but conveniently forgot the anniversary of the Israeli-Palestinian Interim Agreement, widely known as the Oslo Accords. Three political stooges Yasser Arafat, Yitzhak Rabin and Shimon Perez received the Nobel Peace prize for signing this worthless piece of paper, which was based on fake promises made by Yasser Arafat in a letter to the Prime Minister of Israel, Rabin on 9 September, 1993. In this letter Yasser Arafat promised: "The PLO considers that the signing of the Declaration of Principles constitutes an historic event, inaugurating a new epoch of peaceful coexistence, free from violence and all other acts which endanger peace and stability.
People must cease to be beguiled by a news media which have clearly taken sides and are complicit with the Democrats in their attempt to remake America into a European-style socialist republic, and ultimately, if Obama has his way, to a reincarnation of the Soviet Union. We must realize that at whatever level, be it municipal, state or national, a vote for a Democrat is a vote for socialism, which has failed just about everywhere it's been tried.
This article was published on July 29, 2010 six months before the recent overthrow of Egypt's President Mubarek. In Hindsight it makes interesting reading as does the article written a year earlier which discussed the reasons why 18 months later, the Egyptian revolution finally took place. If and when the Brotherhood gains power and influence in Egypt, it is likely that Egypt will begin sponsoring the likes of Hamas, al-Qaida and other terrorist organizations. And the more powerful the Brotherhood becomes in Egypt, the more likely it is that Egypt will abrogate its peace treaty with Israel.
In a tirade posted on a radical Islamic web site, al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula leader Nasir al-Wahishi wrote that the torch of jihad is brighter after bin Laden's death at the hands of infidels...The killing of al-Qaeda's notorious leader Osama bin Laden as well as the collection of his abundant intelligence material by U.S. commandos during their raid that killed the world's most wanted terrorist will help the United States deal a serious blow to al-Qaeda, President Barack Obama announced in a "60 Minutes" interview broadcast on CBS Sunday night...An Al Shabaab leader this week claimed it was Osama bin Laden's al-Qaeda that was instrumental in ousting Maj. General Mohammed Si'ad Barre, who headed Somalia's military regime.
Americans are celebrating the killing of the world's Number One terrorist, Osama bin Laden, but the global war on terrorism is far from over. According to IDF intelligence, since the end of the Second Lebanon War in 2006, Hezbollah has built more that 500 bunkers in the southern Lebanon region, each one holding various weapons. In addition, the organization has built about 300 underground facilities and 100 storage units for munitions including rockets, missiles and other weapons. The terrorist group has made certain these terror centers filled with explosives and munitions are located near hospitals, private homes and schools.
The death of Osama bin Laden, while a major feather in the Obama cap, is not, and should not be seen as, total vindication. It does not erase the many egregious errors and miscues that preceded it: the bailouts, the failed stimulus package, the apology tours, the health care package most Americans didn't want, and the out-of-control national debt. It does not expunge Obama's indecision in moments of crisis: the BP oil disaster, and the events in Egypt and Libya. It does not forgive diplomatic slights to two of our staunchest allies, Great Britain and Israel, and the shabby treatment their prime minister and president, respectively, received upon their visits to the White House. It does not validate the government power grabs and the push for communism upon a country which historically has consistently rejected this form of government.
The current turmoil in Syria exposes Western Political oversimplification and the authentic merciless nature of this Syrian despot. They sacrificed documented facts on the altar of the yearning of peace with Syria. - In order to sustain the "peace process," Israeli and Western "elites" have ignored the Abu Mazen-initiated hate-education and terrorism. Abu Mazen's track record: Introducing hate-education into Palestinian schools, mosques and media, subversion against Arab regimes, holocaust denial, enrollment in KGB and Muslim Brotherhood schooling, the embracing of ruthless Soviet Bloc Communist regimes, centrality in the 1972 Munich Massacre and the recent accord with Hamas.
Under the Oslo Agreement the Palestinian Authority (PA) was committed to protecting Jewish and Christian Holy Sites, and to ensure access by all. The Arab strategy (supported by Western Media Revisionism) is to claim that each and every Jewish Holy place is rightfully a Muslim site and deny Jews access, and then they desecrate and destroy the very places they had recently deemed "holy." Why do Arabs restrict Jews from praying at Joseph's Tomb when the Israelis do not restrict Muslims from praying at their 'holy sites'?
It is interesting to note Mr. Sanad's comments about Arab Muslims in Israel. Egypt's ruling military council sentenced Maikel Nabil Sanad to three years in prison. He was convicted of "insulting the military establishment" and "spreading false information" on the army's use of violence against protesters and its torture of detainees. It seems nobody likes the truth.
2011 'blockade buster': Free Gaza sponsored the flotilla that engaged in deadly clashes with Israeli special forces troops. Among its members were Weather Underground founders William Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn--who perpetrated a series of terrorist attacks--as well as Jodie Evans, the leader of the radical activist organization Code Pink. Besides the U.S. radicals, Islamic groups such as Hamas, Hezbollah and Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood contributed to the flotilla.
Mr. Arrigoni was an activist - an Italian. Beyond that I know nothing about the man. This much I do know about activists however, is that they are people driven by ideology, and ideology cares nothing for the truth. Whatever the man may have believed, he obviously did not understand that the people he supports don't fit a nice ideological pigeon-hole. The Palestinian peoples are pawns in a political game controlled by terrorists. That is the sum of it in a nutshell! Mr. Arrigoni sided with terrorists, and now he is dead!
Israeli Arabs vehemently oppose any settlement - such as an exchange of land between Israel and the Palestinian Authority - which would transform them into Palestinian subjects, denying them Israeli citizenship. What do the Arabs of Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and Gaza know about Abu Mazen's Palestinian Authority that Western policy-makers and public opinion molders do not know?! Akrameh Sabri, the top Muslim religious leader in eastern Jerusalem, who delivers anti-Semitic and pro-terrorist sermons retains his Israeli ID card as do Hanan Ashrawi of the PLO, Muhammad Abu-Tir of Hamas, Jibril Rajoub's wife, etc
Libya is experiencing a civil war, which is an internal matter! - For 10 years the UN and the 'willing coalitions' did not interfere in Sudan. They watched the killing of tens of thousands of Sudanese citizens and the displacement of many millions of refugees from the Southern Sudan and Darfur region. The UN did nothing to stop genocide in Rwanda or bring to an end bombings of Grozny in Chechnya by Russian plans and artillery! Why was this resolution adopted so fast and implemented even faster without proper debate and planning?
Dr. Daniel Pipes, a foremost expert on radical Islam and terrorism cites several criminal cases involving CAIR officials: A senior staff member, Randall Royer a/k/a "Ismail" Royer, pled guilty and was sentenced to twenty years in prison for participating in a network of militant jihadists centered in Northern Virginia. He admitted to aiding and abetting three persons who sought training in a terrorist camp in Pakistan for the purpose of waging jihad against American troops in Afghanistan. Royer's illegal actions occurred while he was employed by CAIR.
"Ayers' and Dohrn's continued activities appear to elude the attention of the people responsible for reporting the news without bias. They are terrorists, plain and simple, so why would anyone be surprised to discover their connection to an anti-Semitic organization that supports terror groups such as Hamas, Hezbollah, the Muslim Brotherhood and even al-Qaeda?" asks former New York Police detective Michael Snopes.
When one wonders about the causes behind the ongoing chaos, violence and revolution in the Arab world, does one connect these events with the relationship between Israel and Palestine? That's a good question! Is there any bearing? Perhaps this 'Quote of the Week' will help answer that question.
President Obama Humiliated: The Palestinian Authority has withstood all of President Obama's pleas; boasted of his humiliation; announced a boycott of American diplomats, journalists and products and have scheduled a "Day of Rage," against America. Caroline Glick (deputy managing editor of The Jerusalem Post) reports that with the fall of President Mubarek of Egypt, Iran, Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood are no longer restrained by borders that were formerly barred to them. According to her report, the recent missile strikes on Beersheba and Netivot were made possible because Iran's battleships can now pass freely through the Suez Canal (for the first time since 1979) bringing arms and aid to terrorists.

Today we have two different articles by Jim Kouri which strongly connect the American Government to the Muslim Brotherhood. Have so many not been warning of this, from even before President Obama ascended to the White House throne? They were ridiculed and reviled; called many names; shunted off to the sidelines as fanatics and conspiritists. Most U.S. newsrooms are turning a blind eye to President Barack Obama's connection to a key player in the Egyptian rebellion: the radical Islamic group known as the Muslim Brotherhood which co-sponsored last year's disasterous "Gaza Aid Flotilla". Last year, U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Janet and her senior staff secretly met with a select group of Muslim, Arab, and Sikh organizations. Among the mix were three organizations directly associated with -- the Muslim Brotherhood.
It appears...a special women's unit within the banned radical group Muslim Brotherhood is operating in Egypt ... when the deputy chairman of the Muslim Brotherhood, Mahmoud Ezzat, was arrested with other members of the al-Qaeda-affiliated group, investigators uncovered evidence of a group of women who serve as "mules" to deliver messages and act as messengers for the terrorist group.
Obama's so-called national security team -- Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Defense Secretary Robert Gates, Director of Central Intelligence Leon Panetta, etc. -- appear to have been caught flat-footed as a result of the apparent inadequate gathering and analysis of actionable intelligence regarding Egypt.
Disturbing to Israel's government and military is the recent news that Lebanon's Druze leader Walid Jumblatt's has sided with Hezbollah against Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri, a move that increases the danger that an Iranian "puppet government" will be established in Lebanon.
On the eve of the establishment of the Jewish State, Professor Roberto Bacchi, the founder of the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics and the guru of Israel's demographers and statisticians, warned that Jews were eventualy doomed to become a minority within the Partition Plan. He pressured Ben Gurion to delay declaration of independence and projected that ?under the best case scenario ?there will be 2.3 million Jews in the Land of Israel, a 34% minority. He was wrong by 3 million Jews!
If the uprooting of Jewish communities advances peace, why would the uprooting of Arab communities undermine peace?! The call for uprooting Arabs is immoral; Isn't the uprooting of Jews just as immoral?!
Jews were an integrated part of German society until Hitler decided to exterminate them. All the wars between the Muslim population and the Jews in the territory which formerly was a part of the Ottoman Empire before being conquered by Britain and thereafter being known as the British Mandate, were started by Arab Nations outside of that territory.
Strangely, the fake opinions about the Arab-Israel conflict have not been refuted by the string of Israel's governments or the Jewish leadership of the Diaspora. The term "legend" would be more appropriate than "opinion" in relation to the world attitude toward the Arab-Israel conflict! Quite often, legends are based on deliberate lies and created through distortion of the details of historical facts which with time people have forgotten and/or do not care about. Most often legends are deliberately created to support a political agenda
The US administration and even many Muslim countries have realised that they need Israel to do their dirty work for them in order to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear weapon! Later, without any doubt, they will vigorously deny their desire to subdue the Iranian nuclear ambition and will scream at Israel with wild accusations of aggression etc, just as they did after Israel stopped Iraq's nuclear ambitions in 1981.
When you look at 'rabid nationalism'; when you look at speech and thought control in China; when you see how the Dictatorial leaderships in a variety of so called 'totalitarian' countries treat and control their people, you can begin to understand how 'Anti-Semitism' is not just allowed to flourish, but encouraged to grow. Between passive political correctness and active political correctness, the world is playing a self-righteous game of Justifiable Anti-Semitism.
In July 1922, the League of Nations entrusted Great Britain with the Palestine Mandate, recognizing "the historical connection of the Jewish people with Palestine" (Jews were commonly called Palestinians at the time). Article 5 of the resolution stated: "The Mandatory (Great Britain) shall be responsible for seeing that no Palestine territory shall be ceded or leased to, or in any way placed under the control of, the Government of any foreign Power..." Three months later, in violation of the Mandate, in order to obtain full control over the Suez canal, Great Britain and France made a deal with the Hashemite Kingdom and Egypt and ceded the trans-Jordan (77%) and Golan Heights (5%) from the Palestine Mandate. The League of Nations just rubber-stamped this deal
In the past, there have been many reports and petitions about CNN's anti-Israel bias and even some apologies were issued by the organization. However, it seems that CNN, just like many other 'Israel-friendly' news organizations, is still playing anti-Israel games by twisting or omitting facts and distorting the truth.
It seems that people of the United States are more honest and astute about the Arab-Israel conflict than their government. They can see, especially after 9/11, that Fatah, Hamas and Al-Qaida are the part of the same Islamic ideology: Global domination by Islam! Major sponsors of this religious agenda are Saudi Arabia and Iran, and it is being supported and implemented in various forms by most Muslim countries! The Muslim world might have their differences, but they do hate passionately all Crusaders and unfaithful ones!
Leave it to the folks at Amnesty International to take the side of Islamic terrorists in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. What was critical from the standpoint of international law was that if the attempt had been made "to minimize civilian damage, then even a strike that causes large amounts of damage - but is directed at a target with very large military value - would be lawful." There is no moral equivalence between terrorists and those fighting them, even if during those actions innocent civilians are accidentally killed.
Given the nature of communist ideology we can hardly blame the student for having the expressed perspective. People digest whatever is fed them. We in the west tend to 'look down on' people in communist countries because we consider that they are a 'duped' people. But what then must we say of ourselves, if rather than being seekers of truth, or at least of the facts, we prefer to jump onto ideological bandwagons; making accusations solely because that is what our ideology requires. As my students are oft to quote (amongst many other things), "There are always two sides to every coin".
Sixty years have passed since Israel won her independence. During this time Israel absorbed several millions of Jewish refugees, including 850,000 from Muslim countries. When WW2 ended, 50 million refugees were scattered across Europe. All of them have found a country where they can live and work, for themselves and their families. All this time the international community has already willingly and quite eagerly subsidized four generations of these professional refugees. For some perverted, deeply imbedded anti-Semitic reason, it makes sure that Mohammed and his family are the best cared for refugees in the world!
What is not normal, is that many so called educated and politically correct western idiots choose to ignore reality in preference for their own fundamentalistic political agendas, some of which are just totally racist. Calling themselves humanitarian and compassionate, they are in fact fundamentalists who can brook no argument contrary to their own position.
The recent phenomenon whereby celebrities such as Hollywood stars, between drug rehabilitation clinics and plastic surgery, express their unqualified views about anything, particularly politics, and influencing public opinion using their celebrity status has become contagious. Unfortunately this trend is spreading and seriously affecting Israeli scientists and intellectuals who are craving for acceptance and recognition by the wider fatuous politically correct and generally anti-Semitic international audience.
The Palestinians depend on Israel for electricity, water and fuel and the whole world expects Israel to keep the Palestinians supplied with these essentials. If Gaza is under Israeli occupation, then how can it be said that Hamas is in control, and how is it that the Palestinians can keep "launching near-daily Kassam rockets" into Israel. If Gaza is under occupation, why does Israel stand accused of 'incursions'? Again, if Gaza is under occupation, who are the Palestinians to be making demands for concessions as a pre-requisite to peace?[/
There is another solution. A one-State Solution. Enemies of the Jews, not just Arabs, have been working on it before and since creation of the Palestinian Mandate and definitely since the declaration of independence by Israel. It is One Muslim State without Jews! Would you prefer this option? Many Jew-hates do!
The way events are unfolding in Palestine, Gaza, the smaller Palestinian territory on the Mediterranean Coast, will soon be totally controlled by Hamas, and will be a separate state to the larger Fatah controlled West Bank. How this situation will unfold in relation to Palestinian peace with Israel, is still debatable, but with the animosity between the two factions, Fatah's West Bank leadership is likely to take the high moral road to normalisation of relationship with Israel and in consequence thereof, declare Palestinian Statehood.
Former PA foreign minister Mahmoud A-Zahar of Hamas said Friday that recognizing Israel contradicts the Koran, Israel Radio reported. In an interview with a Hamas-affiliated Web site, A-Zahar said that Hamas had not given up on the principle that all of Palestine is Muslim land.
Updated in 2011 - There is one absolutely undeniable true fact that exists in Palestine; that Hamas does not now, nor has it ever, and nor does it ever intend to live in peace alongside of Israel. Only Stupid Bleeding Heart Judeo/Christian White Westerners fail to be able to see what is written and hear what is spoken by Hamas in this regard. Even the United Nations is Anti Israel. Beware of False Prophets who cry Peace! Peace! when there is no Peace! The most recent announcement of Hamas / Fatah unity in 2011, is designed to make certain a positive reponse from the United Nations in September 2011, to the establishment of the Palestinian State. Within 3 years, there is going to be another all our war with Israel designed to wipe it off the map.
For years the people of Israel have declared that they only want peace with their neighbours, but we know that their words are all lies. They say that they want true dialogue with their neighbours, but it is clear that they never want those dialogues to succeed. They blow up every situation to serve their own interests and a foreign agenda.
Part of my present fulltime work as Co-Leader of Women in Green stems from my determination not to let our children experience what the Jews went through at the time of Hitler and the Nazis. Are President Ahmadinejad of Iran and his Jihadists less dangerous than Hitler and his Nazi followers? I think they are even more dangerous! As passionate as the Germans were in their hatred of Jews, it is a step further in fanaticism to be willing to blow oneself up in order to kill Jews! President Ahmadinejad has even said that he is willing to lose half of his own country in order to wipe Israel off the map.
'Like it or not, Islam has 1.3 billion adherents around the world," says businessman Farid Ghadry, the president of the Reform Party of Syria, a Washington, DC-based organization whose aim is as its name. He is responding to the question of whether reforming the increasingly politicized religion is any more realistic than rejecting it altogether.
Do you think that being Palestinian or Muslim means anything to the political leaders? While the American people complain about the number of casualties their people have suffered in Iraq, the fact is that the majority of deaths in Iraq are Muslim deaths at the hands of other Iraqi Muslims. Does being Iraqi or Muslim protect them or the Palestinians from political Islamic Terrorism? The issue is not one of finding a way to peace. That way has always been open. More than all the political demands of the bleeding heart Muslims could have been achieved if Palestine had accepted statehood in 1948. No land would have been lost to Israel, if the Arab countries had not attacked Israel and lost.
Palestinian Statehood 2011: In view of the connection between recent events and the statements made in this 2006 article, it is obvious that nothing has really changed and the People of Palestine are still Pawns on the chessboard of their Arab Masters.
As true in May 2011 as it was in September 2006: The United States and European countries are not fighting Islamic expansionism. It is all just pretence and deception! They attack relatively insignificant targets like Afghanistan and Iraq and are unwilling to destroy the real nest of the Islamic hate against all the "infidels and crusaders" - Saudi Arabia and Iran. At the same time, the tendency for covert protection of possible enemies does exist.
How dare anyone call us violent! We'll show you violence! How dare you insult the religion of Peace! For this you must die! We don't know what Pope Benedict said or meant But we are insulted by what Pope Benedict said. We don't forgive the Pope. Benedict's words will cause violence between Christians and Muslims. Benedict doesn't understand Islam. Pope Benedict is under the spell of the Jews
What brand of Islam are we supposed to convert to? Do we put on suicide belts immediately after conversion or wait for an order? If I become a Sunni Muslim, when and how many Shiites, Infidels and Crusaders do I have to kill to secure my seat at the table with Allah in the Haven? And what about female genital mutilation, breaking the arms of the children for stealing a loaf of bread, keeping girls in a burning school because they had no head covering, etc...? These are only few questions of many I would like to hear answered to before I make such a life-defining decision. I think we need clear explanations and specific instructions!
In 2006 public statements were made from within the leadership and Media of Palestine, that the PA syphoned off funds that should have been used to help the Palestinian people; that the real violence and economic woes of Gaza were caused by Palestinian gunmen, and that local Media were living under threat and intimidation, lest they publish the truth about what goes on in Palestine. Today in 2011 we hear that everything is just rosy!
The war continues because the Arabs could care less about the Palestinian people. The leaders fill their swiss and Paris bank accounts with cash; pay for their kids to study in expensive schools in America and other places; and spend a fortune on arms and 'the struggle'. If they weren't such lackeys to a political ideology, they would be building up the economy, and giving their people what they need. Then when they are strong, they can engage in a real war with Israel.
The Palestinians have given the lie to virtually all the scenarios so hopefully envisaged by their friends. They did not construct schools, roads and hospitals; they made no effort to turn Gaza into a thriving state. They elected a radical Islamic Hamas government. They permitted the smuggling of huge quantities of weapons and terrorists while creating new bases for terror. Palestinian society has descended ever more into advanced anarchy.
The coordinated war against Israel had been waged even before the inception of the Jewish state. It had been carried out on the fields of battle and in the corridors of the United Nations (and League of Nations). It is a well co-ordinated, greased by oil and anti-Semitism, effort!
The same facilitators of Holocaust have been generating the justifications for the blood-thirty terror, unleashed on Jews during the last 60 years by Arabs. The intentions of the Arab leadership and the Islamic terrorist infrastructure are to destroy Israel and kill Jews are completely ignored. The right of Jewish people to live in peace on the Jewish land deemed by them to be non-existent!
Misappropriating Jesus into Palestinian Islamic tradition allows the image of the Crucifixion to become a Palestinian symbol, which they then use to portray themselves and other Muslims as victims of Israel.
If the governments of Muslim countries and their population do not want to live by and obey the rules of mutual respect and peaceful co-existence with other nations, cultures and religions, we must let them live the way they desire! Therefore, total isolation must be imposed upon them and we have to let them live in complete and total disengagement from us.
We have been led astray by irresponsible journalism and a plethora of political agendas, into believing that 'we' are to blame for the violence of the poor and downtrodden. Nothing could be further from the truth. As statistics show, more Muslims have been killed by Muslims in their quest for power, than any of us have been killed by Muslims. Those seeking power care naught for human life, Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Palestinian, Iraqi, Israeli or American.
Five years later in 2011 nothing much has changed in the way Activists, The Media, The United Nations and Hamas lie! And as we have discovered over the last couple of years, many of these lying activists end up raped or murdered by the very people they 'lie for'
After all these years of fighting, they now want less than what was freely offered to them in 1948, they want less than all that they lost till 1967? And they bear no animosity toward Israel? How anyone can fail to believe what Hamas has so clearly stated so many times - That Israel must be destroyed - is utterly beyond me. As long as the Palestinian Leadership desires death for their people so that they can score political power, the palestinians and Israelis will die. But one day, maybe the Israelis will have had enough. Maybe on that day, they will give the Arab World and the Palestinian Leadership what they so eagerly cry for – Martyrs! Maybe Israel will give you millions and millions of Martyrs in just one moment of time, and after that, there will be peace.
2011 Updated: Will Egypt be controlled by the Muslim Brotherhood or something similar and turn into a rigid, rabid war mongering fundamentalist Islamic state? The Fundamentalist Islamic Future of Egypt: President Hosni Mubarak ruled Egypt for more than a quarter century and had no designated successor. What is Egypt today? First and foremost it is an Islamic Country, one that has been struggling to catch up with Western economic success. But it is not exactly a success story, and if the winds of Islamic fundamentalism keep blowing as they have, coupled as they are in Egypt with a people unimpressed with the governments achievements, then before long, Egypt will once again crumble into the dust of history.

About the KingsCalendar Publisher
R.P.BenDedek is the owner and Editor of KingsCalendar.com which was originally set up to publicize his research results into the Chronology of Ancient Israel. Those results were published under the title: 'The King's Calendar: The Secret of Qumran'.
Whilst there have been many attempts to solve the chronological riddle of the Bible's synchronisms of reigns of the kings of Israel and Judah and their synchronism with other Ancient Near Eastern Nations, no other research is based on a simple mathematical formula which could, if it is incorrect, be disproved easily. To date, no one has been able to dismiss the mathematical results of this research.
Free to air Academic articles set forth Apologetics for and results of his discovery of an "artificial chronological scheme" running through the Bible, Josephus, the Damascus Documents of the Dead Sea Scrolls, and Seder Olam Rabbah.
During the current economic downturn, this book has been drastically reduced in price but will eventually rise as the economy improves.
