Whilst 'The King's Calendar : The Secret of Qumran is an academic publication of the results of its' breakthrough in sorting out Biblical Chronology, the KingsCalendar Website has additionally become during it's short life, a repository for Social Commentary, (amongst other things).
To that end, I subscribe to a variety of different politically motivated newsletters and I frequently receive Newsletters from an organisation called 'Women in Green' You can find a list of their articles at KingsCalendar Here.
This Jewish organisation is decidedly 'militant and orthodox'. Nevertheless I find interesting material within their articles.
One of their activities, is to sponser the 'Oleg Cartoon' series. I frequently save these cartoons for future reference, providing as they do, visual reminders of previous statements and claims.
In today's Oleg Cartoon, The United Nations is castigated for failing to abide by its' charter, for it permits Iran to call for the destruction of Israel.
I went back through my Oleg Collection, and found a previous cartoon in reference to Iran. Take a look and see what you think. From the oldest to the most recent, they portray a looming threat.
The latest Cartoon is of course, a justifiable condemnation of the United Nations for its double standards when dealing with Israel. As anyone with half a brain knows, the United Nations is a club for the 'politically insane'.
In the article entitled: Don't Mess With Texas by Gerald A. Honigman some interesting observations are made about the United Nations and the way it deals with Israel. Here are two excerpts from that article:
The U.N. stood by and did nothing when a half dozen Arab armies invaded a reborn, miniscule Israel in 1948. Only when the Jews turned the tide did the U.N. step in...to limit Arab losses, not to halt their aggression. Armistice lines (marking the point where hostilities ceased)--not borders--were then set before Israel could advance any further.
Indeed, when the United Nations Relief Works Agency (UNRWA) was set up exclusively to deal with Arab refugees created as a result of the war their own brethren started in 1948 (while there was no such U.N. help for a like number of Jews from "Arab" lands who were forced to flee as well), the very definition of the word refugee had to be modified to accommodate all of the new Arab settlers.
The United Nations Organisation as a title seems certainly to be oxymoronic, and it definitely seems to be the case that "the lunatics are running the asylum". Anyway, take a look at these cartoons and see what you think. You can email comments directly to me.

Not since Adolf Hitler, has the head of a sovereign state used his position to threaten the Jewish people with genocide. Today, for the first time, Iranian President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad publicly denied the Holocaust by calling it a “myth” used by Europeans to create a Jewish state in the heart of the Islamic world.
While Germany and other governments have protested this outrage, it is up to the United Nations to take the lead in insuring that the Iranian regime’s genocidal hate has specific consequences.
