Future presidents may not honour any deal that President Barack Obama signs with Tehran. Senator Tom Cotton said that he sees a potential military confrontation with Iran down the road if the US signs the deal with Iran. "If we agreed to the kind of proposal the Obama administration has made, then military confrontation may be further off, but it might also be nuclear." Former Prime Minister of Israel Ehud Barak said that "it would just take one night" to launch an effective strike to set back Iran's nuclear program.
"It's better they die in Syria than give up their right of return" - Mahmoud Abbas
While the Israeli Defense Force were storming into Gaza in 2014, the streets of Europe were overrun with demonstrators. There were virtual riots outside of the Israeli embassy in London, tens of thousands of people marched there in support of... With every march came cries that the IDF were perpetrating a massacre in Gaza...
There was no massacre of Palestinians at the hands of the IDF last summer. But in Syria there is - right now! But you would be forgiven for being unaware of it. For this time there aren't tens of thousands demonstrating on the streets. There are no demonstrations at all. There are no rallies. There are no screams of massacre. There are no demands on governments to take action.
There is simply a sad, deafening silence!
It's not as if people don't know what's happening in the largest Palestinian refugee camp in Syria, Yarmouk. The story took pride of place on Sky News, it has been published by every major newspaper around the world. Yet there is no action. The heat, the friction, the activism of the summer is nowhere to be found.
In the United Kingdom (and around the world) there is no shortage of organizations dedicated to the Palestinian cause. The Palestine Solidarity Campaign was the main organizer of the demonstrations and of a boycott campaign against Israel and yet the cause of Palestinian suffering in Syria is noticeable only for its absence from their website. There are no events planned, there are no calls for aid, there are no plans to lobby Members of Parliament to take action.
There is silence... when a real massacre of Palestinians happening there is silence from the very organization which exists to campaign on behalf of Palestinians.
This is a bizarre state of affairs indeed. But then perhaps they are only following the example set by Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestine Authority President. His words concerning Palestinians in Syria from 2013 are proving to be truly prophetic today: "It's better they die in Syria than give up their right of return"
Perhaps the silence regarding Palestinians in Syria and elsewhere in the Middle East comes from a belief that it is only worth demonstrating when a Palestinian is killed by an Israeli. Even if that means throwing around words like massacre, when there isn't one, and ignoring a real one while it happens...
Hamas deputy leader Ismail Haniyeh has declared during a press conference "Hamas negotiates with the enemy with arms, not talks... "We tell the Zionist enemy: you are all a target for us and the resistance, we will fight you until we finally get rid of you and take as many captives as possible to free our heroes."
Food for Thought by Steven Shamrak
When Assad had realized that an international force is ready to strike Syria, it took him one or two weeks to agree to remove and destroy all chemical weapon arsenal and facilities. The US has been conducting a useless negotiation with Iran for years, producing only an idiotic "Framework" and allowing Iran continue its nuclear arm program during the negotiation and possibly in the future!
Iran is building an explosive fleet of so-called "suicide kamikaze drones" while also providing know-how on assembling these new weapons to its terrorist allies Hamas and Hezbollah, according to a new report commissioned by the US Army.
'Empty words' - Nobody Cares
Just a quarter of the $3.5bn in aid pledged to rebuild Gaza has been delivered. The report from the Association of International Development Agencies found that only 26.8 percent ($945m) of the money pledged by donors at the Cairo conference six months ago has been released, and reconstruction and recovery have barely started in the besieged coastal enclave.
(What money that does get to Gaza is used to build new terror tunnels, rockets, etc. And they'll blame Israel for the miserable condition in Gaza.)
Israelis living and serving security around the Gaza Strip report harassment by Hamas snipers in recent weeks - a scare tactic apparently evolving into a major offensive as the Palestinian terrorists make massive preparations for the coming showdown.
The Republican US senator warned that future presidents may not honour any deal that President Barack Obama signs with Tehran.
The Islamic State group has released footage showing jihadists demolishing the ancient Assyrian city of Nimrud which was founded in the thirteenth century BCE and served as a major cultural center in pre-Islamic Mesopotamia, which is often regarded as the cradle of civilization.
North Korea supplied several shipments of missile components to Iran during recent nuclear talks and the transfers appear to violate United Nations sanctions on both countries. Details of the arms shipments were included in President Obama's daily intelligence briefings and officials suggested information about the transfers was kept secret from the United Nations, which is in charge of monitoring sanctions violations.
If the economic race into Iran gets out of control, a new generation will suddenly have jobs and cash and will seek to settle the score with the ayatollah regime. Khamenei is not interested in an agreement which will serve Rouhani, who is already striving to secure his second term as president thanks to the agreement.
(Isolation is preferred by totalitarian regimes. It helps them to keep the population under control.)
A deal between Republican and Democratic senators was reached to support a bill that would let Congress have the final say on the Iran nuclear deal. The Senate Foreign Relations Committee on Tuesday unanimously approved, 19 to 0, legislation granting Congress a voice in negotiations on the Iran nuclear accord.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has condemned Pope Francis for calling the 1915 mass killing of Armenians genocide, and warned him not to make such a statement again. The Pope became the first head of the Roman Catholic Church to publicly call the killing of as many as 1.5 million Armenians "genocide".
Quotes of the Week:
"Incitement against the Jewish state is directly related to the stabbings, raping and killing of Jews inside and outside of Israel. But doing something to stop it requires confronting a very troubling fact: the global epicentre for incitement is the human rights leviathan, the United Nations." - Anne Bayefsky
Two days after the US-led powers and Iran hailed a historic framework understanding designed to ensure that Iran's nuclear program is not enable to build nuclear weapons, six gaping areas of discrepancy emerged between American and Iranian accounts of what the agreement actually entails:
1. Sanctions: The US has made clear that economic sanctions will be lifted in phases, whereas the Iranian fact sheet provides for the immediate lifting of all sanctions as soon as a final agreement is signed, which is set for June 30. In fact, the US parameters state that sanctions will be suspended only after Iran has fulfilled all its obligations.
2. Enrichment: The American parameters provide for restrictions on enrichment for 15 years, while the Iranian fact sheet speaks of 10 years.
3. Development of advanced centrifuges at Fordo: The US says the framework rules out such development, while the Iranians say they are free to continue this work.
4. Inspections: The US says that Iran has agreed to surprise inspections, while the Iranians say that such consent is only temporary.
5. Stockpile of already enriched uranium: Contrary to the US account, Iran is making clear that its stockpile of already enriched uranium - "enough for seven bombs" if sufficiently enriched - will not be shipped out of the country, although it may be converted.
6. PMD: The issue of the Possible Military Dimensions of the Iranian program, central to the effort to thwart Iran, has not been resolved.
(The US states, first: "Iran will implement an agreed set of measures to address the IAEA's concerns regarding the Possible Military Dimensions (PMD) of its program." And they subsequently add: "All past UN Security Council resolutions on the Iran nuclear issue will be lifted simultaneous with the completion, by Iran, of nuclear-related actions addressing all key concerns - enrichment, Fordo, Arak, PMD, and transparency." The Iranian fact sheet does not address PMD.)
A US military option with regard to Iran remains on the table should Tehran violate the terms of a framework agreement to curb its nuclear program, according to US Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes. Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon said Israel trusts Washington's intentions, but not Iranians who would be able to continue their nuclear program under the terms of the deal. Worse, Ya'alon explained, the Iranian nuclear program would now have international legitimacy.
Recently, Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon said: "We must remember: There are many that have yet to come to terms with our right to a Jewish homeland (and not just Arabs), and they will do everything they can to deceive us and disrupt our lives with rockets and missiles, terror and de-legitimization - and in recent years with an attempt to develop a nuclear weapon."
We also have to remember what one of the founders of the State of Israel, Golda Meir, who served as Minister of Labor, Foreign Minister, and as the fourth Prime Minister of Israel said:
"We can forgive (them) for killing our children. We cannot forgive them for forcing us to kill their children. We will only have peace with (them) when they love their children more than they hate us."
"We don't thrive on military acts. We do them because we have to, and thank God we are efficient."
"We owe a responsibility not only to those who are in Israel but also to those generations that are no more, to those millions who have died within our lifetime, to Jews all over the world, and to generations of Jews to come."
"I am also grateful that I live in a country whose people have learned how to go on living in a sea of hatred without hating those who want to destroy them and without abandoning their own vision of peace... It is part of our way of life in Israel."
Armenian Genocide Remembrance!
100 years ago 1.5 million Armenians were killed! Their systematic extermination was organized and facilitated by Turkish government of the time. The apathy and indifference of international community for this horrendous atrocity had paved the way for Nazi Germany and its anti-Semitic accomplices to commit Holocaust! Even now most countries still has not recognized this crime against humanity!
Food for Thought by Steven Shamrak
The demise of the international influence of the United States began about 20 years ago, at the time when Bill Clinton forced Israel to sign the Oslo Accords! After that, respect for the American presidency sharply dropped. The world has realised that the US presidency can be easily bought - the Clinton foundation has been receiving millions of dollars from Arab donors since his retirement - and public opinion of the American people can be manipulated simply by bribing or/and threatening gutless journalists, and buying influence in the world media empires!
Israel and the Palestinian Authority have reached an agreement to resolve a months-long dispute. Israel will transfer about $US470 million of collected tax revenue, after deductions to help cover PA debts to Israeli utility companies. Israel announced in March that it would release three months of tax revenue, but Mahmoud Abbas refused to accept the transfer because Israel had unilaterally decided to make deduction to cover PA debts.
(All debts to Israel, including compensation to Israel and victims of PA terror, must be automatically deducted and paid!)
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was correct when he said on April 9 that the White House was lying about what the Americans call a framework agreement regarding the Iranian nuclear program. Obama is untruthful when he repeatedly claims that Iran has agreed to a detailed and comprehensive nuclear framework agreement. Iran has never signed or agreed to the framework agreement.
Israel's decision to apply to the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), despite Washington 's displeasure, indicates its desire to build its economic ties with Asia. Additional Israeli moves to improve relations with Asia include negotiating free trade agreements with China, Japan and South Korea. Besides Israel, many American allies have decided to join the AIIB in spite of Washington 's objections. These include South Korea, Britain, France, Germany, and Saudi Arabia.
(There is one achievement Obama can be 'proud' about - the US losing international respect!)
Lebanon, Israel 's neighbour to the north, is due to incorporate some $3 billion worth of French military hardware into the ranks of its army. The weapons transaction was subsidized by Saudi Arabia. The agreement calls for France to provide Lebanon with warplanes and cruisers, as well as armoured vehicles, seven helicopters and light aircraft.
(They don't even care that arms could end up in the hands of Hezbollah!)
Israel 's defence establishment has successfully tested a tunnel detection system which aims to prevent cross-border attacks by PA terrorists. The system accurately detects tunneling activity, before the information is deciphered by a series of algorithms, revealing the location of the tunnels.
The European Union overtly assists the Palestinian Authority to establish permanent illegal Arab settlements in area 'C' which is under full Israeli control, by supplying pre-fabricated homes to discourage Bedouins from their nomadic lifestyle and settle on our land, to establish facts on the ground for their claim of a Palestinian State.
Israel can now legally seize Palestinian homes in Jerusalem under 'absentees' property law. Israel's Supreme Court has ruled that the law can be applied to East Jerusalem, effectively allowing the state to take control of a property whose owners live in the West Bank or Gaza. An absentee is defined as anyone who lives in a nation designated hostile, including Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, Saudi Arabia and Jordan, or in an area of Israel outside state control.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned Israel against sending arms to Ukraine, several days after reports emerged that Jerusalem would be in contact with Kiev in retaliation for Moscow lifting a ban on S-300 missile sales to Tehran.
(Russia builds nuclear reactors, sells S-300 system and other weapons to Iran and other Israel-'friendly' countries. But Israel is not allowed to do a business with Ukraine?)
Israel has agreed to transfer in full hundreds of millions of dollars in taxes collected for the PA but frozen in a row over the International Criminal Court (ICC). Israel agreed at the start of April to release the funds after deducting debts due for electricity, water and medical services, a proposal rejected by the Palestinians who insisted on full payment. Although transfer freezes have been imposed many times, they have rarely lasted more than one or two months.
(Will the debts be paid? What about compensation to victims of PA terror? Nothing, but it is just a stupid act of a gutless political game!)
PA ministers left Gaza after Hamas placed them on house arrest. The 10 ministers were dispatched to the Gaza Strip as part of the Palestinian Authority government's effort to solve the problem of thousands of public employees who have not received their salaries for several months.(Is it a 3-states solution now?)
US alienation is leading to Israeli-Chinese renaissance. Jerusalem-Beijing ties are blooming due to China understanding the Muslim world is no longer united against Israel, and wishing to strengthen ties during falling out with US.
The leader of Lebanon 's militant Hezbollah group, Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah, has launched his harshest criticism yet of Saudi Arabia, blaming the kingdom for the spread of extremist ideology in the Muslim world. Nasrallah lashed out at Saudi Arabia's strict ultraconservative Wahhabi brand of Sunni Islam, which has been adopted as the ideology of militant groups such as al-Qaida, the Islamic State and al-Qaida's branch in Syria known as the Nusra Front. He accused the kingdom of spreading extremist ideology through schools it funds in Muslim nations. "Who is teaching this ideology in elementary, secondary and high schools and universities?"
Corporal Elad Selah allegedly read 15,000 classified documents, gathering the information the Shin Bet had on his friends from Bat Ayin and warning them of impending arrests.
(When the Israeli government is not willing to fight the enemy, but perpetuates ugly status quo, some Zionists, branded as "radical right-wing activists", take action!)
Israel Must Say "NO" to Embassies in Tel Aviv
Canada is planning to build a new embassy in Tel Aviv, even as the Conservatives continue to sell off diplomatic properties. The Canadian government is seeking outside help in assessing the cost of constructing a new, "prestigious", 26,000-square-foot embassy and ambassador's residence.
(Enough is enough! Israel must insist on moving embassies to the capital of the country, Jerusalem. All self-respecting countries do!)
Quotes of the Week:
"The main lesson of the Second World War, for democracies, is that they cannot turn a blind eye to tyrannical regimes. Ahead of World War II, the world attempted to appease the Nazis. They wanted quiet at any price, and the terrible price did come. The Iranian regime oppresses its people and plunges the Middle East into a tide of blood and suffering& and yet the blindness is vast. Iranian leaders are exporting death and destruction. Well continue to insist on the truth and to try to open the closed eyes." - Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
At the beginning of that fateful week, the then General Shaul Mufaz visited with the Kiryat Arba leadership for an emergency meeting, Baruch Goldstein, as the doctor of the area, was present. Mufaz told of intelligence information concerning a planned terror attack in the area of Machpela towards the end of the week. Baruch Goldstein was asked to "be prepared."
How many Jews have committed terror acts? Five, six, may be seven. How many Arabs? Between 1989 and 2008, over 800 Arab suicide-homicide killers have murdered Jews. Why the only one is remembered - Baruch Goldstein?
Baruch Goldstein was a doctor. A very very good one at that. He treated both Arabs and Jews. His trauma treatment was legendary in Israel in medical circles. His on-the-spot diagnoses were, after weeks of hospital tests, found to be 100% on the mark.
He was also the only on-duty doctor in Kiryat Arba, just about 24 hours a day, seven days a week. During the first intifada, following drive-by shootings and terror attacks, he was frequently the first medical person at the scene.
Just two months earlier, he was present at the scene of the murder of his close friend, Mordechai Lapid and his son Shalom, just outside the gates of Kiryat Arba. He tried to save Mordechai's life, in vain.
Note: In Torah there is a statement, which says that if one definitely knows that the intention of an intruder is murderous one, it is allowed to kill the intruder!
Steven Shamrak born in the Soviet Union and now lives in Melbourne Australia. He is a qualified civil engineer and software specialist, and was an active participant in the nascent Moscow Zionist movement before he arrived in Australia 25 years ago. Believing that "a sense of pride, nationhood and connection to all Jewish land" is missing from Jewish hearts, he spends his spare time educating Jews and non-Jews about Jewish history in the Middle East. He worked as a construction engineer at the Moscow Olympic Games project and as a computer consultant in Australia. For several years he has been publishing an Internet editorial letter about the Arab-Israel conflict since August 2001.
Dear Friends, this independent editorial has been published since 2001. It is not sponsored by or affiliated with any government or political party. The aim is to present Jewish point of view on Arab-Israel conflict, propagates and motivates Jewish people and our true friends to uphold ideals and inspirations of true Zionism - Jewish National independence movement.
Egyptian airport security denied entry to senior Palestinian Authority (PA) official Jibril Rajoub and deported him. Rajoub is a confidant of PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas and a high-ranking member of the central committee of Fatah movement, who in the past called for use of nukes against Israel. No reason for the deportation was given.
Political correctness is not a new invention. According to the unofficial codex of intelligencia of Tsarist Russia, “A member of the intelligencia must not admit or show his anti-Semitic tendencies.” It was never about not having them!
After the US received intelligence that both the Palestinian Authority and Jordan’s King Abdullah II were planning a massive intifada against the State of Israel in order to prevent the Americans from relocating their embassy to Jerusalem, the Donald Trump administration warned both regimes, thus assuring that such attempts “would open hells gates for them.” This American response proves that US President Donald Trump is tough on terrorists and dictators.
Everyone is so concerned to be politically correct and so worried about being perceived racist, that they fail to see that in fact the true racists with the truly incorrect political agenda are the ones pointing the finger and doing the name calling. (In psychology it would be called reaction formation; the suppression of one impulse by the promotion of a counter impulse.)
Having met up with my pen friend we went ‘somewhere’ and there was this big open paved garden type area and there were platforms going nowhere which you ascended by climbing stairs. Through the middle of the paved courtyard-garden ran a little pond. I was fully aware of its existence but so focused was I on taking a good photo that I was walking while looking through the viewfinder of the camera. I fell straight into the pond.

BenDedek originally created the site to publicize his research results into the Chronology of Ancient Israel. Those results were published under the title: 'The King's Calendar: The Secret of Qumran.' Whilst there have been many attempts to solve the chronological riddle of the Bible's synchronisms of reigns of the kings of Israel and Judah and their synchronism with other Ancient Near Eastern Nations, no other research is based on a simple mathematical formula which could, if it is incorrect, be disproved easily. To date, no one has been able to dismiss the mathematical results of this research.

Definition: King's Calendar Chronological Research
The Premise: Between the 5th and 3rd centuries BCE (but continuing down to at least 104 BCE), Sectarian redactors transcribed the legitimate 'solar year' chronological records of Israel and Judah, into an artificial form, with listed years as each comprised of 12 months of 4 weeks of 7 days, or 336 days per year, thus creating a 13th artificial year where 12 solar years existed.
When the Synchronous Chronological Data provided in the Books of Kings and Chronicles for the Divided Kingdom Period are measured in years of 336 days, the synchronisms actually align. [Refer to Appendix 5. to see how it synchronises the Divided Kingdom Period]
