Recently there was a lot of publicity given to violence that erupted in several cities in Australia when "Reclaim Australia" protestors clashed with angry counter protestors who accused "Reclaim Australia" of being racists.
My initial reaction was one of anger toward the 'counter protestors' who seemed to have no respect for democratic rights, and this was only heightened when I read of one 'counter protest' group gaining permission to stage their counter protest in exactly the same spot, just one hour prior to the scheduled Reclaim Australia protest. I considered that in a democratic country, all views must be permitted or none at all, and that for counter protestors to deliberately target a lawful protest, that targeting constituted a provocative and hostile act to suppress the rights of free speech.
However, as I read and reread articles about the conflict, I began to understand that the counter protestors were indeed correct in their actions. It may not appear on the surface to be democratic, but in fact, their actions demonstrate beyond doubt that Australia is a democratic country, and in the process they have demonstrably refuted many libelous accusations made against Australia and its people. The first thing it demonstrated is that Australians are not racist.
Clare Fester, who organized the counter rally in Sydney, told journalists that the "Reclaim Australia" protests were clearly an attack on Muslims and Muslim Communities in Australia. Some news reports indicated that the "Reclaim Australia" protests were 'hurtful' to new migrants and refugees and that many refugees and new migrants feel more isolated and vulnerable now. Clearly we do not want to foster this type of thing in Australia and the counter protestors demonstrated that we will not.
In addition to reports that the counter protestors eclipsed those in support of "Reclaim Australia," we are informed in one report that the chair of the Federation of Ethnic Communities’ Council of Australia did not think it a good idea to give "Reclaim Australia" much publicity because they are a totally isolated and insignificant fringe group.
THANK YOU SIR!
As an Australian I get tired of that tired old line constantly appearing in both domestic and foreign press claiming that Australia is a racist country. As the counter protestors have clearly demonstrated, the Australian people have risen up to declare that they are not racist and that they will not permit racism in Australia.
In China, where I have been living and working for the past decade, there is an actual law to punish people whose words and actions are designed to destroy the social harmony of the nation.
Now whilst it behooves all people in a secular democratic society to permit people to think and believe what they like, (for to do otherwise would be totalitarian) we cannot allow minority groups to create social disharmony, division, sectarian violence and perhaps ultimately - civil war.
The counter protests have demonstrated to the whole world, that Australia and its people are not racists; that those who are, are just "an insignificant and isolated fringe element."
Australians are not racist and nor are they sexist or homophobic. For too long we have allowed ourselves to be deceived by unbalanced media reports, into believing that perhaps we are sexist and homophobic. Quite clearly as was demonstrated by the reports on the counter protests, the majority of Australians believe in and support the politically correct and multicultural values of our secular democracy. It is only the constant media focus on individual negative acts which leads us to think these are major problems. I find personal support for that statement in the comments of one writer, Yassir Morsi, who pointed out that "Reclaim Australia's" sentiments stem from a misguided belief that Australia is under attack from Islam.
Ordinary people can imagine the erosion of their social surroundings in everyday terms of stories and images that are fed to them in an exaggerated form, of an existential fight between us and them over who owns even the minutiae of life: where we live, the languages we speak and, in the case of the halal certification “debate”, what we eat. The beleaguered “community” increasingly becomes formed by these fantasies, fears, symbols, caricatures, stereotypes and nightmares. (Emp. Added)
What we see here is that media of all types provide an unbalanced, exaggerated view of the world. We have become the plaything of what I call 'Media Prostitutes'; people who will screw over anyone for the sake of a quick buck.
We must not let small, insignificant, isolated fringe elements control the narrative.
The people must rise up and proclaim that Australia is a diverse, multicultural country. Australia is a place where all of its ethnicities, cultures, religions, sexual orientations and political beliefs are acceptable because we are democratic; but no minority group of any sexual orientation, any culture, any ethnicity, any political belief or any religion has a right to impose their will on society at large. As the chief executive of the Arab Council, Randa Kattan, warned: "small groups can be dangerous."
The only way to ensure that these 'small activist groups' can be prevented from doing incalculable damage to Australia's precious secular, multicultural democracy, is for the majority to stand up and say: "You have a right to your opinions - but you don't have a right to control the majority!" And that is what a democracy is!
Democracy is the minority giving way to the majority in order that harmony prevails.
Democracy is the majority respecting the views of the minority, in order that harmony prevails.
Violence derived from ideology has no place in a Democracy!
Violence to overthrow ideology has no place in a Democracy!
I respect "Reclaim Australia's" right to have and to hold their opinions.
But I think the counter protestors made an extremely valid point from which we must all learn:
"Don't let the minority fringe elements destroy our country!"
I published this "Tongue-in-cheek" article above in April 2015 and on July 17th I came across this article (Reclaim Australia, No Room for Racism rally in Melbourne) which states that once again "democracy loving" Politically Correct Sociopathic Idiots are waging a war against free speech, and using violence to do so. The article (with video) states quite clearly that police used capsicum spray and horses to quell rowdy protestors trying to disrupt the anti-Islam rally. This situation in which politically correct people are opposing democracy and doing it with violence, is becoming worse and worse. In a Democracy, everyone has a right to an opinion and everyone has the right to protest. But these 'so-called' Politically Correct, humanitarian, tolerant of other cultures, Democracy loving people have been deliberately trying to overthrow democracy and deliberately orchestrating clashes with the 'Anti-Muslim' and 'anti-immigration' group called Reclaim Australia.
These are not just 'dumb' people. They are deliberately trying to overthrow democracy. In one article I came across but which seems to have disappeared there is a video in which you can hear the Anti-Reclaim Australia protestors described by the reporter as "so called anti-racists" and he goes on to say there was no way the police were going to allow them to 'gate crash' the Reclaim Australia Rally. There is also a scene in which a counter-protestor (Anti-Reclaim Australia) calls the general population to come out and 'Stop the Fascists.' It was interesting to note that several 'Reclaim Australia' protestors were actually immigrants. As the video proceeds it shows that after the peaceful Reclaim Australia rally, the police still had problems with the counter-protesters and physically forced them off the streets. In another video the reporter states that the counter-protesters were ..."gathered in the name of anti-racism. some of their number clearly not anti-violence." (Some videos of the event can be found at The Guardian.com)
What we are seeing are people (Reclaim Australia) with a political viewpoint with which we might not agree, exercising their democratic rights, and apparently 'politically correct humanitarian anti-racists' (counter-protesters) acting in a confrontative, aggressive and violent manner, doing not only their best to prevent the exercise of democracy, but trying to create public violence and they are fighting with police. The self-proclaimed righteous ones in these recent activities are far from righteous.
If they want to hold a counter-protest, that is their right. To deliberately provoke and incite violence, is the opposite of what they claim to promote.
***Each protest group is required by law to adhere to the conditions of their protest permit. A physical clash cannot occur unless one or both groups first break the law.)
These counter-protestors are not what they claim to be. At the very least I would guess that they are suffering from Reaction Formation. At worst, they are agents of some organization wishing to destroy the stability of Australia. Of couse the probability is that most of them are just dumb sheep stirred up by creative puppet masters. Yes I know that was a mixed metaphor - but did you know that I actually wrote about this whole PC anti-democracy movement way back in 2005. The article was called: Political Correctness Corrupting Democracy and is worth checking out if you want to really understand what political correctness actually is. It is I believe Sociopathic Cultural Marxist Ideology and is propagated by people with real psychological problems. R.P. BenDedek July 21, 2015
Disciplining yourself to pay attention to the actual words used and the actual meaning of the sentence is very important, especially so since so much of what purports to be news is little more than the writer’s opinion about the facts of the news. Unfortunately, people easily succumb to emotive language such as ‘Donald Trump demonstrates his stupidity again!’ Such a headline is designed to reinforce in the minds of those who don’t like Trump, that he is an idiot. Another thing of which to be careful when reading is the inclination to ‘interpret’ what we read within the context of our religious, cultural and political worldviews.
When you stand to speak you are doing more than reciting words. You are in fact engaged in communicating with an audience your opinions, ideas, feelings, passions and/or knowledge on a subject. They expect you to express yourself with feeling and passion and to actually know what you are talking about. Therefore it is essential that you KNOW what you are talking about – and – show the appropriate body language, gestures, actions and emotions associated with your topic.
The kids used to turn up repeatedly throughout the day just to look at the foreigner, touch him, feel the hair on his (the monkey’s) arms and generally just gawk. China has changed a lot over the years but there have been times when a foreigner in a small town or village would attract huge crowds. Sometimes people would be known to suddenly come upon you, look up at your face and just plain scream! I’m not joking!
Where were these PC (expletive) when I and others were writing years ago about the Syrian crisis? Did they care about the Syrian people? No they didn’t! Do these same sociopathic western political activists who would call me a racist support Muslim and other cultures similar practices such as female circumcision? – polygamy? – arranged marriages? No they don’t! They outlaw it! So don’t talk to me about how I am a racist!
I do apologize for the singing – mine – and by way of explanation, the reason that you hear me saying ‘hello’ (twice) is that a man told his son to say hello and when I decided to say ‘hello’ a lady walking passed me thought I had said it to her and so she also greeted me with ‘hello!’
Everyone is so concerned to be politically correct and so worried about being perceived racist, that they fail to see that in fact the true racists with the truly incorrect political agenda are the ones pointing the finger and doing the name calling. (In psychology it would be called reaction formation; the suppression of one impulse by the promotion of a counter impulse.)

BenDedek originally created the site to publicize his research results into the Chronology of Ancient Israel. Those results were published under the title: 'The King's Calendar: The Secret of Qumran.' Whilst there have been many attempts to solve the chronological riddle of the Bible's synchronisms of reigns of the kings of Israel and Judah and their synchronism with other Ancient Near Eastern Nations, no other research is based on a simple mathematical formula which could, if it is incorrect, be disproved easily. To date, no one has been able to dismiss the mathematical results of this research.

Definition: King's Calendar Chronological Research
The Premise: Between the 5th and 3rd centuries BCE (but continuing down to at least 104 BCE), Sectarian redactors transcribed the legitimate 'solar year' chronological records of Israel and Judah, into an artificial form, with listed years as each comprised of 12 months of 4 weeks of 7 days, or 336 days per year, thus creating a 13th artificial year where 12 solar years existed.
When the Synchronous Chronological Data provided in the Books of Kings and Chronicles for the Divided Kingdom Period are measured in years of 336 days, the synchronisms actually align. [Refer to Appendix 5. to see how it synchronises the Divided Kingdom Period]
