PRWEB Press Releases - King's CalendarBenDedek maintains that the modern society's failure to follow the Biblical punishment of 'stoning to death' people who have committed such sins as lying, premarital sex, adultery, working on the Sabbath, cursing one's parents, and being rebellious, has resulted in a useless society that could be turned around by returning to the Biblical punishments for such sins. BenDedek informed his readers at Magic City Morning Star News (Maine USA) that while many people see legitimacy in his research results, some have expressed doubt about his claim to be able to deconstruct and reassemble Josephus' chronological material. 'For this reason', he said; 'I am making these files available for a limited time'.
Australian author and newspaper columnist R.P.BenDedek joins the debate on the separation of church and state in the USA by calling for a reintroduction of the Biblical death penalty for such offences as children cursing their parents.
In an article at Magic City Morning Star News in Maine USA entitled: 'The Ten Antiquated Commandments' Australian Biblical Chronologist R.P.BenDedek published an article in response to two views published online at Magic City News in relation to the laws and punishments listed in the Bible.
According to the article published March 4th 2005, BenDedek maintains that the modern society's failure to follow the Biblical punishment of 'stoning to death' people who have committed such sins as lying, premarital sex, adultery, working on the Sabbath, cursing one's parents, and being rebellious, has resulted in a useless society that could be turned around by returning to the Biblical punishments for such sins.
He maintains that if children are stubborn or curse their parents, a reintroduction of the Biblical penalties would reduce general crime rates.
In responding to an article which stated that the Bible was written by men, and reflects the prevailing attitudes of unenlightened people during a harsh period of human history, he stated that 'If being unenlightened means insisting on a society of decent people, then let's get unenlightened as quick as we can'.
Rejecting criticism of the harshness of Biblical penalties, BenDedek put his own slant on the reasons for them, claiming that they were introduced because God cared about protecting poor farmers, cared about husbands spending quality time with their wives and children, that he wanted to protect the good names of young women, and that he was interested in children being respectful and obedient.
Research Files on Josephus's Chronologies
R.P.BenDedek author of 'The King's Calendar: The Secret of Qumran' has announced that as of November 1st 2005, his Research Files on Josephus's Chronologies will be made public, for a limited period on the internet.
He states that this decision is both "in response to 'lay' inquiries about the likely success of the King's Calendar reconstruction of Josephus' material", and to celebrate the 1st anniversary of the KingsCalendar on the internet.
He has announced that "both chapter 20 (Josephus) and Appendix 12 (Josephus time line chart) will be freely available online at King's Calendar for a period of two months, in order to provide all interested parties an opportunity to freely assess the validity of the KingsCalendar reconstruction of Josephus' chronologies".
BenDedek further states that despite some negative feedback from some academics, no one to date has been able to 'debunk his research results.

About the KingsCalendar Publisher
R.P.BenDedek is the owner and Editor of KingsCalendar.com which was originally set up to publicize his research results into the Chronology of Ancient Israel. Those results were published under the title: 'The King's Calendar: The Secret of Qumran'.
Whilst there have been many attempts to solve the chronological riddle of the Bible's synchronisms of reigns of the kings of Israel and Judah and their synchronism with other Ancient Near Eastern Nations, no other research is based on a simple mathematical formula which could, if it is incorrect, be disproved easily. To date, no one has been able to dismiss the mathematical results of this research.
Free to air Academic articles set forth Apologetics for and results of his discovery of an "artificial chronological scheme" running through the Bible, Josephus, the Damascus Documents of the Dead Sea Scrolls, and Seder Olam Rabbah.
During the current economic downturn, this book has been dramatically reduced in price but will eventually rise as the economy improves.
