Islam and Nazism have become proofs of the fact that impenitence is insurmountable. This would explain the resilience of anti-Jewish hatred. Such impenitence is the reason the Jewish King David wrote: "With the utmost hatred, I hate them; they have become enemies unto me." (Psalms 139:22)

Who is Michael Devolin?
To give you some perspective of who I am - I am an Irish-Canadian. I was formerly a body-guard for an ultra-Orthodox Jew. The Israeli beret I proudly wear on my head every day was given me by an Israeli soldier who was blown out of a bus in Jerusalem by a Muslim suicide bomber. She has since endured seven years of therapy because of her injuries. The irony in all of this is that her mother and father had already survived Auschwitz.
Writers Journal FRONTPAGE Articles by Michael Devolin
American president who has warned all non-Muslim Americans that, "The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam"--in essence prohibiting any criticism of Islam the religion or, as it has turned out, voicing any objection to Muslim demands for religious and/or political preponderance: Today it's Gaza, tomorrow it will be Manhattan.
Jews were simply returning to a land that was long ago already theirs. Israel, the land of the Jews, has been "occupied" by the Muslim Arab and not the other way around. Not so easy to push Jews around anymore, especially from a land they've dreamed about for so long and from so many dark and dangerous places; especially from a land that has always been a part of their soul.
Agnes Repplier wrote, ""People who cannot recognize a palpable absurdity are very much in the way of civilization." Israel's enemies demand only those concessions which make the Jew more vulnerable to those who also demand a Middle East ethnically cleansed of its Jewish identity. The future is the satiation of an enemy whose religious objective is the disappearance of an entire people from the face of the earth. Israel's security was compromised by the decision to withdraw from Gaza. It led directly to the creation of a Hamas terror state and Israel did not receive one bit of credit from the international community, let alone its foes, for removing every soldier and settler from the area."
Shortly after 9/11, President Bush stated, "The face of terror is not the true faith of Islam. That's not what Islam is all about. Islam is peace." With all due respect, I think that by now, so many years after 9/11 and so many terrorist attacks later, the observers of Islam and the Muslim world would disagree with Mr. Bush's propitious summation of Islam and the Muslim mindset toward the Western world. What is truly amazing to me is that, through it all, Islam the religion is never connected to these exclusively Muslim crimes.
The word Quidnunc is defined as a Latin term meaning "a self-important newsmonger and gossip"--an apt description of those Western journalists and academia who have taken up the cause of the extremist Muslim in decrying Zionism as racism. "Der oilem iz a goilem" goes the Yiddish proverb. The masses are asses. There is no logical reason for Western journalists and academia to publicly condemn Zionism unless, of course, they are unconsciously anti-Jewish.
It has become fashionable to condemn Zionism publicly, especially in North American cities where connecting Islam to violent Muslim behaviour is forbidden by journalistic etiquette. OK to wave placards condemning Zionism (even though Zionism is an integral part of Judaism), but be ever so careful if you plan on pointing out publicly that most of the terrorist violence occurring around the world today is committed by Muslims. Apparently it's not politically correct to portray Islam in a negative light but it's politically correct to condemn Jews and Judaism.
For Jews like Gorenberg, who have repudiated Zionism and instead have come to the conclusion that Judaism is acceptable only so far as it doesn't intrude upon Arab Muslims and Islam's expansionist ideals, there is no future for Jews in Israel when there are Arab Muslims denying them that future. Jews like Gorenberg have less direction than even the stragglers murdered by the Amalekites: at least the stragglers were heading into the land of Israel, Gorenberg and his timid lot are heading out of the land of Israel. These noetic grasshoppers are not trying to reclaim the ancient Jewish identity--they are attempting to erase it.
What is it that breeds the inertia prevalent within the Knesset? I am not Jewish, don't even live in Israel, but anyone with a brain can see that, as in Canada, politicians aggrandize their capabilities and their powers of persuasion only to be exposed as empty hats when it comes time to deliver on their boasts. Ariel Sharon marched up the Temple Mount like the prophet Elijah only to turn around, march back down and chase Jewish families out of their homes in Gaza
These Muslim enemies have a rather intuitive idea that if such a precarious encounter should ever again force the Jewish people to fight for their very existence, the enemy forcing such an encounter will, in turn, also face total annihilation at the hands of the Jewish people. No friends in this game. And no living enemies either. Israel is warning the non-Jewish world about Iran's genocidal intentions, and most--but not all--of the non-Jewish world scoffs at them, insisting there is no danger, that Israel is "overreacting"
Vincent Browne comes of a long line of Irish fools who have chosen Muslim madmen as allies in their fight against the "Brits" and in so doing have felt it would be best to bad-mouth Israel and her Jews just to prove to their terrorist trainers their political mettle. What they have failed to realize is that Israel, long time ago, was invaded and conquered by Muslim "crusaders" just as Ireland, long time ago, was invaded and conquered by the British.
What is always impossible for me to comprehend is the fact that Muslims of all nationalities--even those raised in Western democracies--are much less bothered by the deaths of innocent bystanders who happen to get in the way of Muslim protesters than they are of someone drawing cartoons or making movies about the Prophet Mohammed; they are sensitive to little things, like cartoons or tasteless movies mocking their endlessly eventful religion, yet are insensitive to murder and bloodletting on any scale.
I believe Israel is on the verge of being destroyed by enemies more focused on her destruction than are Israel's friends focused on her survival: time to drop the meaningless discussions about impotent political tripe and, instead, focus our attention also on the uniqueness of the Jewish people--virtuous peculiarities that have not only distinguished them from all other peoples but have also deftly aided them in surviving their brutal enemies; time to concentrate on the necessity of ensuring a Jewish presence in this world, without which, as I believe, the non-Jewish peoples of the earth would descend into a darkness of cruelty and outright anarchy.
The journalist Richard Cohen has written, "The Arab world is the last bastion of unbridled, unashamed, unhidden and unbelievable anti-Semitism. Hitlerian myths get published in the popular press as incontrovertible truths. The Holocaust either gets minimized or denied....How the Arab world will ever come to terms with Israel when Israelis are portrayed as the devil incarnate is hard to figure out." This anti-Jewish hatred intoxicating the Muslim Middle East today, however, did not begin with the Third Reich shrilling it into the Arab air waves from radio stations in Berlin but from the pages of the Koran and the many "hadiths" following afterward.
No Western power is going to give credence to Israel's arguments against a two state solution (which would be nothing short of an Islamic "Final Solution" for the Jews of Israel) if they are moved in any measure by the slander and delegitimization being shouted from the rooftops by those Christian propaganda machines I mention above. No purchase of truth will be made regarding this pressing matter so long as Presbyterian and United Church clergy are burrowing underneath to bring down the Torah-prescribed ideal of Zionism.
Daniel J. Elazar writes, "There is little or nothing in the past behavior of the Palestinians to suggest that, other than a handful of moderates, they are likely to respond in a measured way to a measured Israeli offer of statehood." You can't get blood out of a stone. The Western world does not really expect anything more than violence and discord from the Palestinians. Their unrestrained and belligerent existence seems to be as far as this invented people can travel. Jordan, where the only possible "homeland" awaits them, does not want them, and Israel, as compromising as she may be, will not be tolerated by even the vaguest form of Palestinian leadership--until her Jews are cast into the sea and drowned.
Alice Walker has now descended from the basic Sharpton type anti-white racism into the darker regions of overt anti-Jewish hatred. An accomplished writer like Alice Walker will surely understand how someone like me, a non-Jew and self-educated, might accuse her of anti-Semitism and intolerance by reason of her broad and very public condemnation of the State of Israel, a condemnation with the added punishment of depriving from anyone who reads Hebrew the freedom of reading her stirring novel The Color Purple. I would have thought that someone of her intellectual capacity could perhaps trust in Israel's Jews (a people not without a reputation for genius)--if it were so that their nation really is so evil--to find enough inspiration from her novel about "American apartheid" (to borrow her definition) to turn away from their own version of such pandemic racism.
No matter how obvious Islam's connection to Muslim hatred of the Jew, these Western journalists are adept at conjuring up appellations whose only purpose is to infer that such anti-Semitism (and its attendant terrorism) is somehow tangential from Islam proper. The naive and Leftist ideal of universalism these Western journalists are so afraid of transgressing against outweighs, according to their rationale, whatever injury Islam's innate anti-Semitism inflicts upon the Jew and the reputation of the State of Israel.
How can the Jews expect the United Church, with its repugnant history of abuse and genocide of Canada's Native peoples, to decide between good and evil, between light and darkness, when it comes to the affairs of the State of Israel and the Jewish people? The United Church is quite unqualified to judge others, any others, much less the Jews of Israel and the sovereign state they fought and died for, and which, even today, a glorious and singular democracy they still fight and die for. Look whose calling the kettle black. "February, 2001: The Truth Commission publishes its six year study of Genocide in Canada, Hidden from History: The Canadian Holocaust. A second edition is published in June. Efforts by the United Church to legally prevent its publication fail."
I cannot understand how Western academics, in good conscience, who boast of having attained such high levels of education, can so willfully obfuscate fulgent hallmarks of ancient Jewish history while simultaneously, and with great zeal, propagate an empty and contrived history of a people who never existed before Yasser Arafat invented them. These academics have no problem with a Muslim mosque being situated--by weight of religious partiality--upon Solomon's Temple Mount, as though Jews have no history whatsoever in the Middle East, but they have a problem with Jews building houses on land allotted them in a Torah that precedes all other conflicting religious bona fides by thousands of years.
Let's "keep in mind" that Afghanistan and Syria pose no immediate threat to Michael Bell or to the University of Windsor. Because he is not living in Tel Aviv, one should not expect Mr. Bell to be concerned with the "unintended consequences" of a nuclear attack from Iran: easy for him to forbid Prime Minister Netanyahu the prudence of even entertaining "the thought of attacking Iran's nuclear facilities." Only a former Canadian ambassador not living in Tel Aviv would be spouting such bromidic counsels to those who do. Ambassadors, after all, in the tradition of fools like Neville Chamberlain, have never been known to hang around for the wars they promised would never transpire.
Norman Cousins opined that, "The possibility of war increases in direct proportion to the effectiveness of the instruments of war." Islam's anti-Semitism has now become, at this point in history, a populist hue and cry in both the Western and Eastern hemispheres, ranging from the common man to the academic. There is no wall of decency too high for its projectile of savage denigration. Iran's overt desire for a nuclear war with the State of Israel and the fact that the entire world blames Israel for this unsustainable situation is proof that Islam's anti-Jewish hatred is entirely efficacious and an engine of war not easily resisted.
Today the non-Jewish world dictates to the Jews how Israel should pander to their enemies, and Israel sheepishly obeys. Just as the Jews of Gideon's day were fearful of offending the peoples of other gods, so Israel's present leadership is afraid of offending the non-Jewish world. Today Israel fights her enemies by cover of night, as though Jews should feel ashamed of turning back her enemies from the gate. Gideon may have been afraid of offending "his father's household," but he got the job done: he broke the idols of Baal and cut down the Asherah-tree regardless.
The thing I find most bizarre about this peculiar Islamic constant (Islamic death threats against Israel and her Jews) is that Western journalists continue to exculpate Islam the religion as being innocent of such malefic proclamations. The UK tabloid Daily Mail even referred to the Iranian web-site (Alef), from whence the document was first released, as "conservative." Conservative? If issuing genocidal death-threats against the Jewish people and the nation of Israel is "conservative," then a majority of Western journalists are not to be trusted when it comes to their take on any subject relating to the Jewish people and the State of Israel.
"A nar git un a kluger nemt" goes the Yiddish proverb. A fool gives and the clever one takes. For far too long the Jewish leaders of Israel have been fools and the Arab-Muslim terrorist entities have been the clever ones. What was it Rabbi Kahane said? "Better an Israel that everyone hates than an Auschwitz that everyone loves." Better the Jews of Israel now learn to take and the Arab-Muslim terrorists learn to give. If the death of a Jew does not diminish the Arab-Muslim, then let the Jews of Israel learn that to conquer their enemies is not an evil.
Western journalists have introduced us to their avant-garde term "moderate Islamist." This appellation defines those Muslims who kill other Muslims but who afterwards win elections in this, the season of the Arab Spring. This kill-or-be-killed type of democracy, unique at this time to Muslim lands and Muslim people, has escaped the condemnation of most Western governments, Canadian and American included, and has even gained a measure of respectability. What gets me is that the intellectuals who conjure up these definitions as a means of exculpating religiously driven murderers from their war crimes are the same intellectuals who condemn those of us who refuse to bear silently, as succinctly described by Maimonides long ago, "the lies and absurdities of Ishmael."
The CBC reported today that Western leaders are now worried about Libyan rebels gaining possession of one of Gaddafi's arms caches and the dangers posed should this military weaponry be given into the hands of terrorists. I am humored by the fact that the CBC indicated no acknowledgement of the fact that many of these rebels, and presumably a majority of the leadership, are Islamists to begin with.
An issue that greatly concerns me about Islamists and their Islam, regardless of the fact that they represent only a small percentage of Muslims worldwide, is that their hatred of all things Western, and the attendant commentary and violence that propagate such odium, becomes motivator for moderate Muslims to become more like Islamists and less moderate in their behavior--more terrorist and less law-abiding citizen.
The Western media would like us to believe that Anders Behring Breivik has many cohorts just waiting in the wings to act out the same acts of violence and terrorism. Breivik was a lone wolf who believed his country and its cultural traditions were disintegrating. He believed that Islam and Muslims were the elemental root cause of this disintegration. Western media has branded Mr. Breivik a "Christian fundamentalist". The truth is that Christian fundamentalists are not in the habit of killing their own. Muslim fundamentalists are. Christian fundamentalists are a rather suspicious and simplistic bunch, but they're not notorious for murdering children. Muslim fundamentalists are.
Arab Muslims of Gaza and the West Bank are loath to admit to an Arab Muslim invasion in 666, or to the preceding existence of the Jewish King David's sovereign state long before the advent of Christianity or Islam. They are also loath to admit that before Yasser Arafat's fictional rhapsodizing of the history of the Middle East, the term "Palestinian" comprised simultaneously an Arab and a Jewish identity. Like Yasser Arafat before him, Mr. Abbas is trying to ideate a "Palestine" without the Jewish people. He is shooting (literally) for an ethnically cleansed version of the term "Palestinian." In Abbas' history of the Middle East, the Jew has never been (nor ever will be) a "Palestinian."
Mr. Fatah writes in the National Post that its readers "should know the difference between Islam and Islamism." It is my opinion that they are one and the same, only difference being that Islamism is more aligned to the original and veridical Islam: the Islam of the Prophet Mohammed and not the watered-down version practiced by irresolute apologists like Tarek Fatah. To pretend otherwise is to perpetuate the very evil he hopes to destroy.
To give you some perspective of who I am, Mr. BenDedek: I am an Irish-Canadian. I was formerly a body-guard for an ultra-Orthodox Jew. BenDedek originally created the site to publicize his research results into the Chronology of Ancient Israel. Those results were published under the title: 'The King's Calendar: The Secret of Qumran.' Whilst there have been many attempts to solve the chronological riddle of the Bible's synchronisms of reigns of the kings of Israel and Judah and their synchronism with other Ancient Near Eastern Nations, no other research is based on a simple mathematical formula which could, if it is incorrect, be disproved easily. To date, no one has been able to dismiss the mathematical results of this research.

Definition: King's Calendar Chronological Research
The Premise: Between the 5th and 3rd centuries BCE (but continuing down to at least 104 BCE), Sectarian redactors transcribed the legitimate 'solar year' chronological records of Israel and Judah, into an artificial form, with listed years as each comprised of 12 months of 4 weeks of 7 days, or 336 days per year, thus creating a 13th artificial year where 12 solar years existed.
When the Synchronous Chronological Data provided in the Books of Kings and Chronicles for the Divided Kingdom Period are measured in years of 336 days, the synchronisms actually align. [Refer to Appendix 5. to see how it synchronises the Divided Kingdom Period]
