Yes, Mr. President (OBAMA), this is what a democracy looks like
by Yehudit Kartsover and Nadia Matar
May 26, 2015
The Israeli voter has seen the results of the delusional New Middle East to which the present president (OBAMA) and his predecessors in the White House have tried to lead him. The Israeli voter has seen the death and the terror that the Oslo Accords and the withdrawal from Gaza have brought upon him. The Israeli voter has seen how much blood the vision of the Left has cost and especially - the Israeli voter has chosen to recover his national pride and return to his culture, to the cradle of the Jewish nation, and to the living connection between himself and his land.
95th anniversary of the San Remo Conference: Jewish people's ownership of its land
By Menahem Rahat
May 12, 2015
San Remo. Who remembers - who knows about it? San Remo is a turning point in the history of the People of Israel in its Land...In January 1920, two years after the defeat of the ancient empires in the First World War, the League of Nations, which comprised 51 countries, was established. These countries dealt with the fate of the territories left by the four empires that were dismantled....the territories under Ottoman rule in Asia was left: Syria, Iraq and Palestine. It was to solve this matter that the San Remo Conference was convened, which decided to divide the territory between France and Britain, which would hold them in temporary trusteeship for the states that would arise in them....3 delegations appeared before the conference: two Arab (and neither of them was Palestinian, because at that time the Palestinian people did not exist, and because in the Arabs' eyes, Palestine was considered part of Syria ever since the Persian conquest in the 7th century), which were only interested in the fate of Syria and Lebanon; and the Jewish, Zionist delegation, headed by Haim Weitzman, which sought to have the Mandate of Palestine given to the British, only so that they would fulfill their obligation according to the Balfour Declaration.
A monster in the ultra-sound
by Dafna Netanyahu
March 28, 2015
Those same people who preach the establishment of a Palestinian state in Judea, Samaria and Gaza totally ignore what is written in clause no. 9 of the Palestine National Covenant, "the armed battle is the only way to liberate Palestine and it, therefore, is a strategy and not a tactic", while clauses 19 and 20 declare the annulment of the Balfour Declaration, the text of the Mandate, the UN decision of 1947 on the partition and the decision to establish the State of Israel. But worse than anything: they do not take into account what the nature of such a state would be, and what kind of reality we would be subjected to on the day after its establishment.
Why the Likud Won
by Tsvi Sadan
March 22, 2015
The Likud won because the majority of Jews in Israel still prefer a "Jewish" democratic state over just a democratic one. Their healthy senses tell them that the Left's vision for democratic Israel will end up badly for all of us. Likud's victory is also an Israeli response to disrespectful Obama and hateful Europe. Likud's victory, therefore, is a vote for Jewish life, pure and simple.
Israel's next 22 months
By Caroline B. Glick
March 22, 2015
Not only did Arafat reject Barak's unprecedented offer of Palestinian statehood and sovereignty over all of Gaza, most of Judea and Samaria and parts of Jerusalem including the Temple Mount, he refused to make a counter-offer. And then two months later, he opened the Palestinian terror war.... The Menendez prosecution tells us that Obama wishes to leave office after having vastly diminished support for Israel among Democrats. And he will not hesitate to use strong-arm tactics against his fellow Democrats to achieve his goal.
'From Time Immemorial'
by Nadav Shragai
Feb 28, 2015
Joan Peters, a journalist, television producer, and political commentator, was a pro-Palestinian human rights activist during those years. Something unusual happened to her, though -- she gradually changed her views. Her area of expertise was the Israeli-Arab conflict. She signed a contract to write a book about the conflict in the Middle East...she discovered startling new facts about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that did not sit well with her employers. At that point, Peters gave back the advance and freed herself from any contractual obligations that were originally agreed upon with the book publisher. After seven years of research, which included long hours in long-forgotten archives and interviews with hundreds of people, Peters wrote a book titled "From Time Immemorial: The Origins of the Arab-Jewish Conflict Over Palestine." The release of the book in 1984 ignited controversy.
Rabbi Prof. Dov Fischer's comments on President Obama
by Prof. Dov Fischer
February 13, 2015
We now have a President in the United States who has absolutely no comprehension as to how to deal with tyrants, dictators, bullies, and thugs. Worse -- much worse than that -- is that this President does not know what he does not know. He believes he is a genius, the smartest person in the room. He surrounds himself with sycophants who tell him that he is the smartest person in the room. Yes, history will clear it all up, recording him among the five least competent or qualified of all American presidents. Possibly the least of all.
Hardening of Pharaoh's Heart
(Retitled article) by Moshe Kempinsky
Feb 6, 2015
Pharaoh would not let the facts that were afflicting him to get in the way of his vision of an eternal slave-work force. He had to harden his heart and avoid the reality swirling menacingly around him. It is clear from the verses that after each of the first five plagues, Pharaoh is the one who hardens his own heart. The West cannot at this point let the reality of extreme Islamic terrorism get in the way of their utopian post modernistic view of the world.

So you think you know Hanukka
by Michael Freund
Dec 24, 2014
But the sad truth is that Hanukka, like so many things nowadays, has been "dumbed down," stripped of its deeper meaning and ripped from its original context. As a result, there are three central themes of the Hanukka story that have been largely swept aside, even though they speak directly to the period in which we now live. Specifically, these are: battling assimilation, struggling to liberate Judea and Samaria, and longing for a rebuilt Temple.
Europe's insufferable hypocrisy
by Michael Freund
Nov 13, 2104
Curiously, however, the Catalonians' roar for independence doesn't seem to interest the rest of Europe as much as that of the Palestinians, even though the former have a much better case for having their own state. To begin with, there actually once was a Catalonian state, albeit briefly, in the 17th century, whereas there has never been an independent Palestine in all of history. Even if one does think the Palestinians have been living under occupation since 1967, Spain has occupied Catalonia for 300 years, making it a longer-running dispute, and justice delayed is justice denied.
Joan Peters in a rare interview: Sovereignty Journal
Sovereignty Journal
Nov 4, 2014
Peters devotes a large part of her book to the manner in which the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, UNRWA, perpetuates the refugee status of Arabs who were displaced, or left voluntarily, during the War of Independence. This has become an integral part of efforts to undermine Israel's standing in the eyes of the world and in its own eyes. Women in Green asks Peters to relate to this organization, which, although its stated purpose is to bring peace to the world, actually strengthens those whose goal is to destroy Israel.
Understanding the Israeli-Egyptian-Saudi alliance
By Caroline B. Glick
August 24, 2014
The Obama administration would have forced Israel to bow to Hamas's demands weeks ago if the Egyptians and Saudis hadn't opposed a Hamas victory. From Egypt's perspective, a Hamas victory in the war with Israel that connects Gaza to Sinai will strengthen the Muslim Brotherhood and its Islamic State and other allies. Such a development represents a critical threat to the regime..... Israel's strategic cooperation with Egypt and Saudi Arabia owes to their shared interests. It cannot extend beyond them. And they have no shared interests in regard to the PLO.
Defeating terrorists: From Sri Lanka to Gaza
By Michael Freund
August 20, 2014
Obviously, by discounting the possible utility of a military solution, Grossman and his comrades are trying to push Israel in the direction of negotiating with the likes of Hamas and Islamic Jihad. After all, if the Islamists cannot be defeated, then how else can the dispute be resolved? The only problem with Grossman's assertion is that it is patently false. The idea that there is no military solution to the threat posed by Hamas is wishful, rather than truthful, thinking.

Tisha B'Av Discrimination in Israel
by Shimon Cohen and Tova Dvorin
June 7, 2014
"The rights to assembly, as well as equality, are constitutional rights that take the highest priority in any government," he stated. "The Mount is part of the State of Israel and is not an ex-territorial area to which the law does not apply. The Supreme Court has reiterated this, more than once."
Women in Green in Action Passover 2014

When we review modern Israeli history with the students and raise the issue of our right to this land from the international aspect, we can feel the students' eyes open in complete and utter surprise. Words like "the San Remo Conference" sound like the name of an exotic tourist location to them. These youngsters, the future of the State of Israel and the Jewish people, have not heard of the fact that Britain, as the mandatory power, was given the responsibility to exercise the Balfour Declaration at San Remo.
Israel's Worst Enemy: Lies and Myths
By Bruce Thornton
April 13, 2014
In still another historical anomaly, in no other conflict have refugees failed to be integrated into countries with which they share an ethnic, religious, and cultural identity. Most of the some 800,000 Jews, for example, driven from lands like Egypt and Iraq in which their ancestors had lived for centuries, were welcomed into Israel, which footed the bill for their maintenance and integration into society. The Arab states, on the other hand, kept their brother Arabs and Muslims in squalid camps that have evolved into squalid cities, their keep paid for by the United Nations Relief Works Agency, the only U.N. agency dedicated to only one group of refugees. Thus the international community has enabled the revanchist policy of the Arab states, as Alexander Galloway, head of the UNRWA, said in 1952: "It is perfectly clear that the Arab nations do not want to solve the Arab refugee problem. They want to keep it an open sore, as an affront against the United Nations, and as a weapon against Israel. Arab leaders don't give a damn whether the refugees live or die."
The Obama Mask has Fallen
by Caroline Glick
March 10, 2014
Now that he no longer has to concern himself with the wishes of the American public and its representatives in Congress, Obama has dropped the mask of opposition to Iran and forged ahead with a diplomatic process that all but ensures Iran will acquire nuclear weapons. The fact that Obama "doesn't have to run again for anything," he doesn't need to pretend feelings for Israel that he doesn't have, by among other things, going to the AIPAC annual policy conference. Obama's newfound courage to begin abandoning his pretense of supporting Israel presents Israel with a new challenge.
Lessons from the Struma Murders
by Sarah Honig
March 4, 2014
February 24, 1942 - 19-year-old David Stoliar terrifyingly clung to bobbing debris in the Black Sea. At first he heard screams in the frigid waters but the voices died down. The Struma, then a 115-year-old Danube cattle barge, was a pitiful peanut-shell of a boat packed with nearly 800 refugees from Romania. Bound for the Land of Israel, they desperately fled Hitler's hell and the horrors of Bucharest's fascist regime. Eager to appease pro- Nazi Arab opinion, Britain chillingly declared that under no circumstance could the Struma's human cargo set foot in Eretz Yisrael. Furthermore, Britain pressured Turkey not to let anyone off the crippled boat at its end either.
Behind the Palestinian Water problems
By Prof. Haim Gvirtzman
March 4, 2014
The Palestinians do not bother fixing water leaks in city pipes. Up to 33 percent of water in Palestinian cities is wasted through leakage.. The State of Israel creates artificial water (desalinated seawater and recycled sewage) and behaves frugally and effectively, and as a result there is no shortage of water, despite having experienced many years of drought. Furthermore, it is a net exporter of water! Israel supplies 55 million cubic meters of water each year to Jordan, and sells 50 million cubic meters to the Palestinians.
Palestine and the Palestinians are a modern invention
By Michael Freund
March 4, 2014
Auni Bey Abdul-Hadi, who testified in 1937 before the Peel Commission, which was established by the British government to investigate the outbreak of Arab violence in British-ruled Palestine told the commission that "there is no such country as Palestine! 'Palestine' is a term the Zionists invented! There is no Palestine in the Bible. Our country was for centuries part of Syria."
The End of Mankind the fault of the Zionists
By Steve Apfel
February 15, 2014
Not so long ago Europe's elect blamed the Jews even for climate change? (Member of the European Parliament Clare Short claimed that Israel, "undermined the international community's reaction to global warming.") Has the Zionist lobby been a de facto American policy maker? Is it underhand for Zionists to sway public policy and opinion favourably towards Israel? To call a spade a spade, is the Jewish lobby not doing what other lobbies do, sometimes better, sometimes worse, sometimes not at all?
Woe unto Jeruslem!
(Retitled article by M. Miskin)
January 24, 2014
The Temple Mount is the holiest site on earth according to Judaism, and is the place where the First Temple and Second Temple once stood. The plan to split Jerusalem's holy sites between various religions "has existed for some time, and now they're going to implement it in stages," Rabbi Ariel warned, adding, "During the Pope's next visit they plan to transfer the Cenacle on Mount Zion to him, turning it into a pilgrimage site."
The truth hurts (Obama-Kerry Messianic Drunk Driving)
By Caroline Glick
Jan 19, 2014 (Magic City)
Americans are getting the same message from allies throughout the Middle East. Under Obama, America's regional policies are so counterproductive that the US has come to be seen as the foreign policy equivalent of a drunk driver. As the US's strongest ally, and also as a country that has depended for decades on US support, Israel is a passenger in the back seat of the car. On the one hand, we are happy for the ride. On the other hand, the administration's driving is endangering our survival.
Research Institute for Promotion of Sovereignty in Judea and Samaria to be Established
By Sovereignty Journal
Jan 12, 2014 (Magic City)
The meeting was held Monday, January 6th, by the Forum for Application of Sovereignty it was decided to continue to promote the political alternative of the Right, despite and perhaps even because of the international pressures on the government of Israel to divide the Land and establish a Palestinian state. Among the decisions that were taken was a decision to establish an academic research institute that will examine in depth the various issues that this process entails.
Professor Gil White from Mexico: Apply Sovereignty in Israel without Delay - Sovereignty Journal
By By Ari Yashar
Jan 11, 2014 (Magic City)
The visitor, Prof. Gil-White, is a professor of Anthropology and Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania. "Prof. Gil-White is not Jewish"...In a number of points along the route of the tour, illegal Arab building was shown to the guests, building that is nothing but an inseparable part of the clear Palestinian policy whose goal is to take over the territories of Area C unilaterally, territories that are defined to be under Israeli military and civil rule in the Oslo Accords. The problem is not only illegal structures built by Arabs but also an Arab takeover of agricultural land, illegal quarries and other facilities, all funded by anti-Israeli organizations such as USAID.
Sovereignty Journal interview with Yariv Levin
By Editors
Jan 11, 2014 (Magic City)
Somewhat surprisingly, despite the fact that it became the ruling party more than three and a half decades ago, it seems that the Likud movement still has not presented the Israeli public with a comprehensive and clear political vision. When the ruling party of the nationalist camp is asked to present a political position, its members are satisfied with refuting and criticizing Oslo in one way or another and with presenting ways to minimize the damage of the plan -- a plan which was first considered a lunatic vision, which the Left managed to convert into mainstream Israeli thinking.
Israel can say 'No' to the US
By Michael Freund
Jan 8, 2014 (Magic City)
Begin concluded with a paragraph as piercing as it was heartfelt. "Mr. President," he stated, "you and I chose for the last two years to call our countries 'friends and allies.' Such being the case, a friend does not weaken his friend, an ally does not put his ally in jeopardy. This would be the inevitable consequence," Begin asserted, if the president's proposals were to become reality.
Second issue of "Sovereignty" released during Kerry's Visit to Israel
Editors of Sovereignty Journal
January 7, 2014
The second issue of "Sovereignty" was prepared for publication during John Kerry's frenetic and relentless trips in the area. The pressure on Israel is far from moderate and the goal of this pressure is clear - to arrive at an agreement of "two states for two peoples" or in simpler words - to split the Land of Israel once again. In the appendices to his Book of the Commandments, Ramban (Nahmanides) states that the commandment to settle the Land of Israel also includes the prohibition "not to abandon it to the nations of the world or to desolation."
COMMENTARY: Caroline Glick's One State Plan for Israel
Editors of Sovereignty Journal
January 7, 2014
[Before Richard Nixon decided to treat the PLO as a desirable organization, US policy was not predicated on Israeli land giveaways. "In '67 there was no such concept in the United States. UN Security Council Resolution 242, which set out the terms of an eventual peace between Israel and its Arab neighbors, stipulated clearly that the Arabs must recognize the right of Israel to exist in peace and security within defensible borders and, only afterward, would territorial changes be addressed..."

by Elad Benari
(Kingscalendar Editorial Preface)
January 1, 2014
11 year old Roi, eldest son of Udi and Ruth Fogel, was at home during the 2011 massacre in Itamar. As the terrorists brutally murdered his parents and siblings, Roi lay under a blanket in the living room. The terrorists did not notice that there was someone under the blanket, and his life was spared. 11-year-old Roi wants to know why the Israeli government is releasing terrorist murderers. The 11-year-old child understands what this government does not understand.

Israel's moment of decision
by Caroline B. Glick
December 28, 2013
As Hamas-ruled Gazans begged the supposedly hated IDF to come and save them from the floods, and as Israel took over rescue operations for stranded Palestinians living under the rule of the PLO's gangster kleptocracy in Judea and Samaria, here was Kerry, telling us that we'd better accept the deal he plans to present us next month, or face the wrath of the US and Europe, and suffer another Palestinian terror war.
Israel's One State problem - Two State solution disaster
By Josh Hasten
December 18, 2013
Kontorovich says that he believes that while many of those who are in favor of the Two-State Solution are sincerely afraid of the One State Solution based on the argument of demographics -- that one day there will be more Arabs than Jews in Israel, he says that in reality it is "the Palestinians who should be afraid of the One State Solution since while for us [Israel] it will be costly, for the Palestinians it would be a disaster, an impossibility" which is the reason they haven't tried to implement it, despite "threatening this forever."
The EU is right about Western Sahara -- which means it is wrong about Israel
by Eugene Kontorovich
November 24, 2013
The EU, like the rest of the world, does not recognize Western Sahara as part of Morocco, but this has not stopped EU from extending its agreements with Morocco to cover Western Sahara. In recent years, Europe has contested Israel's insistence that its EU agreements do not apply to Israel's activities in the West Bank. The EU stance has been celebrated by some as an example of European commitment to international law. The EU's new deal with Morocco appears to be contradicting those principles.
The politics of subversion (Middle East) at Magic City
By Caroline Glick
Dec 10, 2013
By controlling the Jordan Valley, (and the Samarian and Hebron mountain ranges), Israel is capable of defending the country from invasion from the east. It can also prevent penetration of irregular enemy forces, and on the other hand, maintain the stability of the Hashemite regime in Jordan. Without control over the areas, Israel can do none of these things. Facing these undeniable facts, Kerry and his supporters have two main challenges. First they need to present themselves as credible actors. Unfortunately, Israel cannot trust the US. Kerry and the Obama administration as a whole lost all credibility when they negotiated the deal with Iran last month.
Think again: Why WoW's radical leaders matter at Magic City
By Jonathan Rosenblum
Dec 6, 2013
Early this month, journalist Rachel Avraham posted a story on Jerusalem Online, the English-language website of Channel 2 News, detailing the connections between WoW vice-chairwoman Batya Kallus and chairwoman Anat Hoffman, and various anti-Israel groups. Could it be that WoW is a useful vehicle for advancing an anti-Israel narrative that leaves Israel increasingly isolated internationally? Is concealing that agenda the reason why WoW tried to suppress the story of its leaders' ties to fringe anti-Israel NGOs?
Our world: The goal of Obama's foreign policy at Magic City
By Caroline B. Glick
Nov 28, 2013
It isn't surprising that the US and the other five powers signed a deal with Iran on Saturday. Over the past few weeks, US President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry made it clear that they were committed to signing a deal with Iran as quickly as possible. And it isn't surprising that the deal these overeager leaders signed with the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism makes the world a much more dangerous place than it was before the agreement was concluded.
International law and Judea and Samaria: It's time to return to the facts
By Yair Shamir
Nov 27, 2013
In his November 21 article on "Humanitarian law vs. political choices," Juan Pedro Schaerer, head of the local delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), repeats the longstanding point of view that Judea and Samaria, what some refer to as the "West Bank," is "occupied territory." In international law, as in any type of law, one should render an interpretation only if the wording is somehow unclear or vague. The fact that the article falls under a category which completely contradicts the root of Schaerer's argument appears to be lost on the author.
The Counterfeit Arabs
by Victor Sharpe
November 21, 2013
"There is no such thing as Palestine in history, absolutely not" -- Professor Philip Hitti, Arab historian, 1946...Far too many otherwise decent people have come to accept Arab oil financed falsehoods masquerading as history about the origins of the so-called Palestinian Arabs. These lies now permeate the mainstream media, schools, colleges, and universities and are perpetrated by the tenured leftist professors and the colleges who all too eagerly accept Saudi blood money.
Pollard's fate
by Jerusalem Post Editorial
November 13, 2013
Cal Thomas, whose column is syndicated in 550 American newspapers and whose voice is heard on more than 300 American talk shows, wrote in USA Today last week: "President Obama should order the release of Jonathan Pollard, who is serving a life sentence for spying in the US on behalf of Israel." "If everyone who spied on us and we on them went to prison, no one would have any spies left," he wrote.
Politicians, prisoners and perfidy (Israel)
By Michael Freund
October 31, 2013
Consider the following: among the 26 Palestinian thugs, murderers and terrorists set free was Kassem Hazem Shabir, who picked up an axe and struck Yitzhak Rotenberg, a 67-yearold Holocaust survivor, in the back of the head, smashing his skull and killing him together with an accomplice in March 1994....Just six years ago, he was singing a very different tune when then-prime minister Ehud Olmert met with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in Sharm e-Sheikh in June 2007. During a joint press conference, Olmert announced that "as a gesture of goodwill to the Palestinians" he had agreed to release 250 Fatah prisoners "without blood on their hands."
Tzipi Livni's political strategy
By Caroline B. Glick
October 31, 2013
The result of her dubious efforts was 1701, which from Israel's perspective is arguably the most problematic Security Council resolution ever passed. Not only did 1701 treat Hezbollah, a terrorist organization that fought an illegal war against Israel, as a legitimate party simply by ignoring it. It made Hezbollah the victor in the war by ensuring it would retake control of Lebanon's border with Israel without any serious opposition.
Sovereignty: A New Political Journal for Israel
By Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar
October 24, 2013

Israeli Girls in the Way of the Patriarchs
By Avi Yogev
September 22, 2013 (at Magic City)
Among the other stops, they learned of the values of the sanctity of the Jewish people at a site with a mikveh (ritual bath) from the Second Temple period, the value of aliyah le-regel (Jews walked along this very route on their way to Jerusalem), and additional values. "The message that we transmitted to the girls is that, just as the Ushpizin are the emissaries of G-d, to the Jewish people, so too, they have to aspire to be the emissaries of G-d in our generation," Vardi says.
Flat earth -- 20 years on
By Sarah Honig
September 17, 2013 (at Magic City)
This isn't a joke. The Flat-Earthers are real and they are dead-earnest. No amount of proof will sway them -- just as no amount of proof sways our inveterate Osloites. Had reason prevailed, the Oslo Accord's perpetrators would be hiding for shame in shuttered rooms. But in our unreasonable milieu they insist on having another go at what failed miserably, keeps exacting a scary price and imperils our very existence.
Israel's 20-year nightmare
by Caroline Glick
September 15, 2013 (at Magic City)
From a domestic perspective, the phony peace process has taken an enormous toll on Israeli society and democracy. To defend such a move so strenuously and reasonably opposed by such a large portion of the public it was necessary to marginalize the public. And so we were subjected to a systematic effort to purge and discredit dissident voices from the senior and later junior ranks of the IDF, the Foreign Ministry, (although Peres had done much of the work pruning responsible voices out of the ministry in the previous decade), and the Justice Ministry. Responsible opponents in the public square were castigated as extremists and enemies of peace, little different from terrorists. A new vocabulary to hide reality -- such as calling terror victims, victims of peace -- was invented.
No to an Interim Agreement (Israel)
By Elyakim Haetzni
September 13, 2013 (at Magic City)
As the Jewish year drew to a close, we were witness to President Obama's growing weakness and to the the embarrassing contrast between his image and that of his Secretary of State, John Kerry. Obama's hesitance caused a temporary respite for Assad, not really good news, despite the fact that both sides there are despicable murderers as well as anti-Semites.
Israel and the decline of Western resolve
By Michael Freund
September 4, 2013 (at Magic City)
Somewhere beneath Damascus, in a reinforced underground bunker, Syrian dictator Bashar Assad is undoubtedly doubled over in laughter, heartily enjoying a lengthy chortle for the first time in years. Just when it seemed that the West, led by the United States and Great Britain, were about to make him pay for gassing his own people in broad daylight, their political leadership developed a nasty case of wobbly knees.
(Israeli) Leftists, Don't You Have Any Compassion?
By Shimon Cohen
August 26, 2013 (at Magic City)
Don't you have any compassion? You want to inflict a Palestinian state on the Arabs of this land? How does it happen that the Israeli left succeeds in masquerading as the champions of human rights? .. If you need proof, you can close your eyes and recall the reports from the Palestinian hospitals which Hamas people entered and pulled the plug on Fatah supporters. You can also recall the fourteenth floor, from which Abu Mazen's supporters were thrown to their death, and if this is really a burning issue for you, you can find recorded reminders on YouTube of executions in the city squares, and these, you'll recall, are their brothers.
Tasers and the seeds of tyranny
By Michael Freund
August 22, 2013 (at Magic City)
In a video clip that has gone viral, a man named Boaz Albert, a vintner and father of six, was brutally set upon by five Israeli policemen who burst into his home on Thursday night and repeatedly shocked him with a Taser gun. Despite subsequent efforts by police spokesmen to downplay or minimize the incident, the video is chilling and incontrovertible.
Obama Appeasement Will Result in Disaster
By Isi Leibler
August 21, 2013 (at Magic City)
As anticipated, the Arab Spring has devolved into a bloody nightmare that has engulfed Egypt, leaving Israel surrounded by a sea of violence and barbarism with no prospect for stability on the horizon. Yet whilst hundreds of people are being brutally killed daily, the international community remains obsessed with condemning Israel for allowing the construction of homes in the Jewish suburbs of East Jerusalem.
Israel's Women in Green Continuing the Vision
By Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar
August 14, 2013
The choice is in our hands: to choose the path that leads, Heaven forbid, to the loss of values and physical destruction, or to choose the vision, the path that leads to the values that Israeli society already held dear in the beginnings of Zionism, in the establishment of the State of Israel, in the settlement enterprise, in the draining of swamps, in the ingathering of exiles, in Operation Entebbe.... We in Women in Green choose to continue and increase our activities for the redemption of lands and the guarding of state lands on the hills of Judea. Along with this, we wish to advance a national campaign for the application of Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria. We need partners for this.
Terrorism the Media doesn't want to report on
by R.P. BenDedek et al.
August 13, 2006
Every time Israel takes action against Hamas in Gaza and starts blowing up tunnels, the 'western activists' start gushing tears from their eyes and blood from their hearts. The purpose here today is simply to provide information to counter the irrationality of 'agenda driven' activists who seek to control the emotions and minds of the silent and somewhat mindless majority. I am still 8 years old, hospitalized in critical condition. Screaming from pain. Bandaged from head to toe. And my head is not the same. No longer full of golden long hair. The head is burnt. The face, back, the legs and arms, burnt. I am surrounded by family members, but my mother is not with me.
Who's the sucker? Palestinian Prisoner Release.

Abbas plainly cannot do a deal, no more than his way more powerful predecessor Yasser Arafat could. Abbas won't agree to end the dispute, relinquish the so-called right to inundate the Jewish state with millions of hostile Arabs or at all recognize the legitimacy of a Jewish state in the Mideast. Why? Because the object of Ramallah's honchos was never to establish a Palestinian state but to destroy the Jewish state. All else is a ploy to debilitate Israel.
Remembering Lior Tubal and Ronen Karmani
By Esther Pollard
Jul 31, 2013 (at Magic City)
The boys, Ronen Karmani and his friend Lior Tubal, were on their way to visit their girlfriends in Givat Ze'ev when they were offered a ride. They never reached their destination. When they did not show up, their families became increasingly alarmed and police began a search of the area where the boys were last seen. Days later, their broken bodies were found in a valley in Jerusalem. They had been bound, gagged and stabbed multiple times.
Israel's fast evolving demography
By Paul Morland
Jul 24, 2013 (at Magic City)
Since the Arab population is younger and has more women of child-bearing age relative to its size than the Jewish population, it would be expected to have a higher birth rate. The fact that the birth rates of the two communities are close to convergence means that we are nearing the point, if we have not already passed it, when the average Jewish woman in Israel must be having more children than the average Arab woman.
Deputy Ministers Call to Permit Jewish Prayer on the Temple Mount
By Israel Arutz 7 Hebrew article
Jul 21, 2013 (at Magic City)
It is inconceivable that on Tisha be-Av night, we would not be permitted to go up on the Temple Mount, while the Muslims have the entire Mount at their disposal. We are already giving the police a request for next year's march, that will conclude with a ceremony on the Temple Mount. On the Temple Mount plaza we will conduct a ceremony with speeches, for masses of people, with the participation of government ministers, Members of Knesset, and public figures.
European Union Directive to Humiliate Israel

Even I, who have supported Jewish life in all of Israel most of my adult life, find it difficult to imagine the true extent of this evil move. This goes beyond any bullying on the part of the EU regarding internal Israeli affairs. This is a brazen effort on the part of Israel's Left and its European anti-Zionist allies to go behind the backs of the vast majority of Jewish voters in Israel and enforce here policies that are clearly against the broadest consensus, like our sovereignty over East Jerusalem.
Next Year's Bloody Muslim Violence: Jerusalem - Tisha B'av 2014

The content of this article page was provided by Israel's "Women in Green" and relates to the 2013 Tisha B'Av March around Jerusalem in Israel. Whilst the content may not be of any interest to readers, the purpose of the article is to WARN the world of the Islamic violence that is going to flow on Tisha B'av in 2014.... Ramadan is a month long, and Tisha B'Av falls on only one night... the march left at 11:50pm, due to rioting by Islamists. On Tuesday morning, following continued threats by Islamist groups, Jewish worshippers were prevented from ascending the Mount by Israeli police. The Temple Mount is Judaism's holiest site, and the place where the two Holy Temples (destroyed by the Babylonians and Romans respectively) once stood. We do not need a permit from the Muslim world to for every little thing we do. Women in Green" group have notified police that next year, they will be marching to the Temple Mount itself.
An Appeal to keep Latma running

Latma ("slap in the face") is an Israeli media criticism website that also produces a weekly satirical news show. The website was created in 2008 by a group of journalists claiming that "the only way to improve the Public discourse is exposing the true face of the news and journalism in whole". According to the site, the majority of the Israeli media, and especially the satire that is presented in them, lean to the political left. The site contains criticism about media outlets, reporters and journalists. The criticism is mostly directed towards politically biased articles. The site's editor is Caroline Glick. The regular writers are Shuky Blass and Avishai Ivri. The site's CEO is Shlomo Blass.
Where is Benjamin Netanyahu taking us?
By Moshe Arens
Jul 12, 2013 (at Magic City)
We may not know at the moment the exact status of the indirect negotiations between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, taking place by courtesy of John Kerry, but listening to Netanyahu's rhetoric we can discern where he is trying to take us. Nobody can object to his readiness to enter into negotiations with Abbas without preconditions, even though it is clear to all that Abbas does not speak for and cannot make commitments for all of the Palestinians. That is, after all, a traditional and reasonable Israeli position - let's sit down and talk, and maybe we'll find that we can reach an agreement. But behind this simple, almost simple-minded, position there now hide implicit Israeli concessions which are becoming more explicit by the day.

Its International Department, headed by Rabbi Chaim Richman, "provides direct access to the world of the Holy Temple" through educational programs, publications and online lectures. In preparation for Tish'a B'Av, the Institute has released a video, entitled "The Children are Ready II". The video follows a similar campaign last year, when the Temple Institute's viral video reached an audience of over 1 million viewers.
Anger over Continued (Jerusalem) Temple Mount Discrimination
By Ari Soffer
Jul 9, 2013 (at Magic City)
This year, however, the Walk - scheduled for Monday evening (Jewish calendar days begin the previous evening) will depart considerably later than usual - at the unearthly hour of 11:30pm - following instructions issued by the police, who wish to coordinate events so that Muslims worshippers can complete their Ramadan celebrations on the Temple Mount before the Jewish walkers even set off. That decision has drawn ire from the Walk's organisers, Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar, co-directors of the "Women in Green", a grassroots Zionist organisation which campaigns to uphold Jewish rights in the land of Israel.
Israel's Right and Left Miss the Point on One/Two State Solution
Martin Sherman
Jul 3, 2013 (at Magic City)
The only thing more dangerous, delusional and disastrous than the Left's proposal for a two-state solution, is the proposal now bandied about by the Right - for a one-state solution. While old school two-staters are willing to imperil Israel geographically to address the demographic imperative, budding one-staters are prepared to jeopardize it demographically to address the geographic imperative.
Israeli Sovereignty over Judea and Samaria is catching on
By Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar
Jul 3, 2013 (at Magic City)
A fascinating debate is taking place about this, especially as to the question of what to do with the Arabs after Israel applies sovereignty over Judea and Samaria. At our Sovereignty Conference this past January we held a special panel debating this very question with four speakers who all call for the application of Sovereignty but represent four different views as to what to do with the Arabs after Sovereignty is applied, ranging from giving citizenship to the Arabs (Caroline Glick), to giving them autonomy (Adv Elyakim Haetzni), to voting rights in Jordan (Prof. Arieh Eldad) to the solution of compensation-evacuation (Dr. Martin Sherman).
One State Solution: The price is more affordable than you think
By Zahava Englard
Jun 30, 2013 (at Magic City)
The latest Palestinian census, released in 2008, reported that there are 3.71 million Arabs living in Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip. However, this figure includes persons living overseas, persons twice counted, and inaccurate projections. In addition, it appears that many PA Arabs have discovered the secret to eternal life and rarely die, or whose families simply choose not to record the many members that do. Never in history has there been a sovereign Palestinian state in these territories as it was only in 1964 that the concept of a separate Palestinian people was fabricated as a political plot to destroy Israel. Enough is enough with the perpetuation of the Big Lie pertaining to a fictitious nation's claim to any part of the Land of Israel.

What the Arabs are planning in Israel.
by By Regavim
Jun 28, 2013 (at Magic City)
As part of Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad's plan to unilaterally establish a de facto Palestinian state, the PA is operating towards the establishment of various national infrastructures - civilian and security control structures, establishment of physical and economic infrastructures, and reforms in the central and local governments. The PA's blatant efforts to establish the physical infrastructures specifically in 'C' Territories, which are under full (both civil and defence) Israeli control, are clearly an attempt to actively annex more land and place it under PA control.

OC Central Command Maj.-Gen. Nitzan Alon's strategy for dealing with the violence is not to do his job and deploy forces judiciously to defend the country and its citizens from our enemies. His strategy is to pressure the government to surrender to all of the PLO's territorial and political demands. Because that is Kerry's peace plan.
What the Politicians and Media won't tell you about the Arabs inside Israel.
by Women in Green
June 25, 2013
Over the years, the Arab city of Al-Bireh expanded, until it reached a distance of only 100 meters from the community's fence. The establishment of this noose is carried out through the illegal development of infrastructures and construction of roads, as well as constructing buildings on dominating points with the intention of creating a buffer in the hills between Psagot and Beit El. All these projects are being executed illegally in the area that separates Al-Bireh and Psagot, as well as in the other areas around the community, which are all defined as 'C' Territories, under full Israeli control.
US-trained Palestinian security services behind Israel Terror.
by Caroline Glick
June 25, 2013
The supposedly grassroots groups of local rioters including children attacking IDF soldiers and Israeli civilians with bullets, firebombs and stones are not at all independent or grassroots. They are wholly owned and operated franchises of the PA. And the ones leading the attacks are the US-trained Palestinian security services.
Self-delusion Garnished with Ignorance: Hassan Rohani
by Michael Freund
June 19, 2013
The man who uttered those hateful words is none other than Hassan Rohani, the new president-elect of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Yes, that Hassan Rohani, the same one that much of the Western media is attempting to portray as a judicious and reasonable man. "Moderate Wins Iran's Presidential Election," crowed National Public Radio. "Rohani an Advocate of Peace," insisted The Australian. But don't let the screaming headlines fool you. The assertion that Rohani is a moderate is absolute hogwash, marinated in self-delusion and garnished with sheer ignorance. Sure, when compared with outgoing nutcase Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Rohani is relatively restrained. But that's like saying Attila the Hun was a moderate when measured up against Genghis Khan.
The Sunni-Shi'a conflict
by Mordechai Kedar
June 19, 2013
Among scholars of the Middle East, the term "sushi" is used as a shorthand for the expression, "Sunni-Shi'a". Anyone interested in the history of Islam knows that the seeds of the Sunni-Shi'a conflict were planted the moment that Muhammad, the prophet of Islam, closed his eyes forever in the year 632 CE, without leaving a mechanism for choosing a successor to lead the nation. The conflict that developed as a result, has become an open, bloody battle over the years, and it has been a thread in the fabric of Islamic history throughout all of its 1400 years. This conflict has facets on many levels: personal, familial, political and religious. The battle between the two factions of Islam is "for the whole pot", and it continues to this very day.
Kerry's plan is fantasy according to Abbas
by Caroline Glick
June 19, 2013
Standing before world and regional leaders on May 26, Kerry said plaintively, "This will help build the future. Is this a fantasy? I don't think so." Abbas and his underlings wasted no time, however, in demonstrating that indeed, Kerry's plan is fantasy. Abbas appointed Rami Hamdallah, a Fatah apparatchik with perfect English, to replace America's favorite moderate Palestinian, Salam Fayyad, as PA prime minister. As The Jerusalem Post's Khaled Abu Toameh has pointedly explained, Hamdallah was appointed for two reasons. First, to facilitate Fatah's absconding with hundreds of millions of dollars in donor aid to the PA and to Palestinian development projects precisely of the type that Kerry hopes to finance with his $4b. grant.
The beginning of a 'third intifada?
by Josh Hasten
June 19, 2013
With an upswing in violent terror attacks targeting Israeli civilians and soldiers throughout Judea and Samaria over the past several months, one of the most oft-asked questions posed by commentators has been, "are we witnessing the beginning of a so-called 'third intifada?" On one hand, while OC Central Command Maj.-Gen. Nitzan Alon admitted to Channel 2 this past March that the IDF has identified trends of escalation, he did stop short of referring to the violence as a "third intifada." However, at the same time, just last week a senior IDF officer told Army Radio his sources indicate that the Palestinian Authority will likely choose to launch another "intifada" should US-brokered efforts aiming to jump-start negotiations between Israel and the PA flounder
Hafez Assad: better or worse than alternatives
By Caroline B. Glick
June 19, 2013
Since the civil war began two years ago, Assad's complete dependence on Iran and Hezbollah -- as well as on Russia -- has been exposed for all to see. There is little doubt that whatever checks the US was able to exert against him before the civil war began no longer exist. And if he survives in power, he will be completely indifferent to US pressure and so will behave far more violently than he did before the war began.
Mordechai Kedar's 'Open Letter to the Arab League'
From Women in Green
May 16, 2013
Is your promise worth anything? Does the Arab League indeed function as a relevant and effective body? In the covenant of the Arab League, which all of the Arab states have signed, there are articles that state principles of behavior among yourselves, but you behave in the totally opposite way!! Article 5 prohibits your states from using force against each other. Were there not wars between Egypt and Libya? Between Egypt and Sudan? Between Saudi Arabia and Yemen? Between Iraq and Kuwait? Between Syria and Iraq? And while we're on the subject of Syria and Iraq, Article 6 of the League's covenant states that if a foreign state attacks an Arab state, the League must take measures against this attacker. What did you do when your brother, Saddam Hussein, was attacked in 2003 by foreign states? Not only did you not help him but you joined the attackers!!! So can anyone trust you?
'C' Territories are under Israeli and Civil Administration control
From Women in Green
May 9, 2013
'A' Territories are where the large Palestinian cities are located. The area is under PA security as well as civil control. In 'B' Territories, the PA administers civil affairs, while security affairs are Israeli responsibility. 'C' Territories are under Israeli and Civil Administration control. 'C' Territories present 60% of Judea and Samaria, and there are about 300,000 Jews living there. In addition, a few tens of thousands of Palestinians, comprising about 5% of the PA population, live there. 'C' Territories' great significance lies not only in their size, but mostly because they create a buffer between Palestinian civilian population centers.
Anarchy ten minutes from Jerusalem

The most frustrating aspect in this deadly game of cat and mouse for the soldiers is that THEIR HANDS ARE TIED. While they don't lack the motivation to put an end to the rock throwing, their orders only allow them to fire rounds of tear gas at the gathering mobs, as they are not allowed to use live fire. According to my friend the only time they are allowed to use their weapons is when they feel their life is in immediate danger if an approaching Arabs has an already lit firebomb (Molotov cocktail) in-hand ready to throw. If not all of those conditions are met and these are decisions the soldiers are forced to make in a split second, then only tear- gas rounds may be fired to disperse the stone throwers.
80 Percent of Israelis Want Sovereignty over Judea
By Y. Katsover and N. Matar
April 25, 2013
According to the poll, some 80 percent of the respondents believe that Israel should apply sovereignty over Judea and Samaria, under whatever conditions. Of those, more than a third of the Israeli public is of the opinion that Israel has to apply sovereignty over all Judea and Samaria, while almost a quarter believes that it should be applied only over the settlement blocs. "We call upon the government of Israel to heed the voices that arise from the people. The government has a golden opportunity to demonstrate a true Zionist pioneering spirit and lead the public a step forward on its way to its political and security redemption."
Israel: The happy little country
By Caroline B. Glick
April 22, 2013
But a lot has changed since the 1990s. Twenty years after Yitzhak Rabin shook Yasser Arafat's hand on the White House lawn and so officially ushered in Israel's Age of Terror, most Israelis don't really care what the Europeans or the Arabs think of us. The "international community's" inability to accept that sober-minded contentment is better than pipe dream fantasies has caused leftist writers in Israel, Europe and the US alike to express mystification at a recent survey carried out by the OECD, which ranks Israelis among the happiest people in the world. The ranking made no sense to commentators.
Jewish Presence on the Roads Close to Efrat
By Y. Katsover and N. Matar
April 14, 2013
"We chose the junction called the 'knee junction,' about two hundred meters from the village of Artas, from which many rioters have come. They adopt two methods against us. One is throwing stones and boulders, again and again, at Jewish vehicles that pass along the road, and the second method is setting tires on fire at night and rolling them down from the nearby hill at passing vehicles."
English Version of Mordechai Karpel's Syria as a Metaphor
Translated by Women in Green
April 9, 2013
The states of the Middle East are the result of French and English colonialism. The absurd borderlines we see on the map were probably drawn by some Intelligence Officer in the British Military Headquarters during the first World War. The decline of Europe allows the Arabs to be free of the diplomatic structure it had created in the Middle East and the basic concepts, such as 'Nation' and 'National state', in which it had been anchored. "The Syrian nation" is a good metaphor for the matter. Syria is not a nation, it's citizens are not one people, and Assad is not "massacring his own people". The citizens of Syria are a collection of various religious groups, ethnic groups, tribes and clans, who don't have much in common, except for the shared ideology of "might makes right", and definitely do not have a national identity in the European sense of the word.
Israel's Apology to Turkey
By Caroline Glick
April 2, 2013
The Mavi Marmara was an eminently predictable fight. The Turkish group that hired the boat was an al-Qaeda-affiliated Turkish NGO named IHH. In 1999, the Turkish government was so wary of IHH that it barred the group from participating in relief efforts following a devastating earthquake. IHH's fortunes shifted with the rise of its fellow Islamists in the AKP Justice and Development Party led by Recep Tayip Erdogan. The AKP won the 2002 elections and has since been reelected twice. By 2010, Prime Minster Erdogan had a long track record of anti-Israel actions. Indeed, by 2010, Erdogan had effectively destroyed the strategic alliance Israel had developed with Turkey since 1949. In 2006, Erdogan was the first major international leader and NATO member to host Hamas terror chief Ismail Haniyeh. The same year he allowed Iran to use Turkish territory to transfer weaponry to Hezbollah during the Second Lebanon War.
Stone Throwing Is Also Terror
By Michael Freund
March 26, 2013
As I write these words, a Jewish toddler injured in a Palestinian terror attack is lying in a hospital bed struggling for her life. After all, when a Palestinian picks up a stone and throws it at an Israeli vehicle, he is not expressing outrage or protesting against some perceived wrongdoing. He is making a conscious decision to grab hold of a potentially deadly object and send it hurtling through the air in order to cause bodily harm. This is not about a group of kids tossing pebbles on the water at the beach. It is a group of thugs trying to terrorize people and intimidate them from making safe use of the roads. And it must be stopped.
Signed in ice; not carved in stone: Interview with Yoram Ettinger and Alan Baker

March 12, 2013
"If the Arabs have so easily and violently violated domestic and regional agreements among themselves, can anybody reasonably expect them to handle agreements with the Jewish state in a more peaceful manner?" So the regime changes across the region don't signal a transformation to democracy. "Any new arrangement in the Arab countries will be subjected to the above tenets of the Middle East," Ettinger continued. "In other words, any arrangement by definition would be provisional. Agreements in the Middle East are signed in ice, not carved in stone."

Surrendering sovereignty again
By Martin Sherman
March 5, 2013
What made this announcement even more troubling was the fact that it was made a matter of hours after The Jerusalem Post reported that "Israeli officials dismissed on Tuesday a Palestinian Authority demand for an international inquiry into the death of Palestinian detainee Arafat Jaradat as a 'predictable' maneuver and part of a larger strategy to bring the international community into the conflict whenever possible." It is difficult to see how Aharonovitch's statement cannot be interpreted as hasty Israeli capitulation to Mahmoud Abbas's strident demand, issued at the the PLO Executive Committee meeting in Ramallah on Tuesday, "for an international commission of inquiry to find out how Jaradat was assassinated in prison.

One of these "experts" was so incompetent that he allowed PM Rabin to be assassinated. Carmi Gillon's incompetence was so extraordinary that some have suggested that he was involved in a conspiracy to kill PM Rabin. His successor was not much better. He sent a hit team to assassinate the head of Hamas, Khaled Mashaal, in Jordan, by placing poison in his ear. They succeeded in their task, but someone noted the unusual license plate of their getaway car: it was from the Israeli embassy!
The case for Judea and Samaria
by Michael Freund
February 21, 2013
How many people abroad know that the Jewish presence in Hebron dates back more than 3,000 years? Or that "settlements" such as Neve Ya'akov and Kfar Etzion were created during the British Mandatory period even before the State of Israel was founded? Centuries before the invention of Islam, King David was born in Bethlehem, Amos prophesied in Tekoa and Judah the Maccabee fought at Beit Horon. And 1,800 years before the PLO was established, Jews at Beitar were battling the Romans.
With Her Dead Baby in Her Arms, Sarah Renewed Jewish Burial in Hebron
By Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar
February 19, 2013
Sarah Nachshon, the wife of the painter Baruch Nachshon, told of the struggles of the beginnings of settlement in Kiryat Arba-Hebron. The couple came to Hebron upon the recommendation of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, who told them to live in the City of the Patriarchs, specifically. When their first son was born, Sarah led the subterfuge that enabled her to have her son's brit milah - to bring him into the covenant of Abraham - in the Cave of Machpelah. When their second infant son died in a tragic case of crib death Nachshon decided to bury him in the ancient Jewish cemetery of Hebron. The Defense Minister absolutely refused. Nachshon came to the cemetery with her dead infant and with a large crowd following her. The military commander there could not halt the funeral procession and the burial in the cemetery. Nachshon's infant was the first of the Jews to be buried in the ancient cemetery in modern times.
The Delusion of Peace (Israel)
By Yishai Karov
February 15, 2013
"Today, many understand that the 'two states' slogan is a lie. The public is ready for the alternative: the application of Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria." Geulah Cohen negated the fear raised in certain circles of the response by the world, primarily the United States. "When I initiated the Jerusalem and Golan Law, it was threatened that the sun would not rise the next day. With G-d's help, the sun continues to rise, the skies didn't fall, and so it will be, with G-d's help, when Israel will apply its sovereignty over Judea and Samaria."
Uprooting that which was planted [Netzer]
by Zofnat Nordman
February 13, 2013
"The Patriarchs' Route" in Gush Etzion also passes through an area known as Netzer, located between the Elazar and Alon Shvut communities. The Netzer area is built on terraces that assemble a spectacularly beautiful, green mosaic; green grapes twining alongside old olive trees in plots of varying shapes and sizes, and in the pre-Spring season the Netzer space looks like a Claude Monet masterpiece: the green background is spotted with the pink and white of the almond trees at the peak of their bloom. But this pastoral bubble bursts the moment we 'zoom-in' on the photo, then we discover a real battle for this land and the future of the country, with the innocent plants often standing like soldiers on the frontline.
Bye-bye London

February 6, 2013
I want to note that the audience was made up of upper crust, wealthy British people, not unwashed rabble rousers. And yet they behaved in many respects like a mob when presented with pro-Israel positions. I was prepared to conduct a civilized debate based on facts and reasoned argumentation. I expected it to be a difficult experience. I was not expecting to be greeted by a well-dressed mob. My pessimism about Europeans' capacity to avail themselves to reasoned, fact-based argumentation about Israel has only deepened from the experience. We debated Daniel Levy, one of the founders of J-Street and the drafter of the Geneva Initiative, and the son of Lord Michael Levy, one of Tony Blair's biggest fundraisers; and William Sieghart, a British philanthropist who runs a non-profit that among other things, champions Hamas. Levy has publicly stated that Israel's creation was immoral. And Sieghart has a past record of saying that Israel's delegitimization would be a salutary process and calling for a complete cultural boycott of Israel while lauding Hamas.

These are not earth-shattering comments from Abbas, a known Holocaust denier. In his 1984 book The Other Side: The Secret Relationship Between Nazism and Zionism, based on his PhD thesis, Abbas explains (in Arabic) that, "It seems that the interest of the Zionist movement, however, is to inflate this figure [of Holocaust deaths] so that their gains will be greater. This led them to emphasize this figure [six million] in order to gain the solidarity of international public opinion with Zionism."
Chuck Hagel - It's the anti-Americanism, stupid.

Hagel and Obama ... are looking to take on the US military. They will slash military budgets, they will slash pensions and medical benefits for veterans in order to save a couple dollars and demoralize the military. They will unilaterally disarm the US to the point where America's antiquated nuclear arsenal will become a complete joke.We are in all likelihood going to see a post-American US government squaring off against the first genuinely Jewish Israeli government ever. Non-observant and observant Jews are joining forces and the anti-religious are being left behind.
A View From The Hills: Mainstreaming annexation (Samaria and Judea)
By Josh Hasten
January 16, 2013
"Application of Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria," drew over 1,000 diverse attendees, from college students, journalists and bloggers to veteran activists and pensioners, and was held in a jam-packed, standing room-only Jerusalem hall, featuring some of most influential government leaders and policy makers in Israel today. To put it simply, while just several years ago annexing Judea and Samaria seemed liked an implausible, unrealistic, or even taboo suggestion, today the concept of establishing Jewish sovereignty over all of the land from the River to the Sea has grown into an entire movement

Annexing Judea and Samaria: The speakers discussed the practical aspects of applying sovereignty: How it should be done, what the status of the Arabs in Judea and Samaria will be, and what are the anticipated reactions from the Arab and Western worlds. The Minister of Public Diplomacy and Diaspora Affairs, Yuli Edelstein, also mentioned that even the application of sovereignty over Jerusalem, decades ago, did not make the world accept construction in all parts of the city, so there is no reason to worry about the international response.

Talk of a two-state solution, while widely prevalent, is largely irrelevant.
Third Sovereignty Conference - Samaria and Judea
by Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar
January 3, 2013
The political vacuum in Judea and Samaria - a vacuum has existed for 45 years and leaves a state of uncertainty. "This vacuum fosters the hopes of the Arabs for the establishment of a state in these areas, fans the flames of intifadas and terror, and brings international pressures on Israel with the demand for political concessions. The time has come to put an end to this vacuum, and to apply Israeli sovereignty. The time is ripe for this because of: the flourishing settlement enterprise that comprises some 400,000 inhabitants in about 250 blooming settlements; the people's understanding that concessions weaken our stand and bring the terror of Grads and Katushas to the center of the country; and the Edmund Levy report unequivocally establishing that Judea and Samaria are not occupied territory, and that the settlements have legal standing."

On the importance of the application of sovereignty, Katsover and Matar say: "The reality in which territory in Eretz Israel remains without clear political status leaves options open in the eyes of the Arabs, and also for the Europeans, the Americans, and the rest of the world. New plans for how to get rid of the heart of the Promised Land pop up all the time. Forty-five years after the fact, action must be taken, to apply Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria, and to put a stop to the humiliating buying and selling of the heart of our homeland."
A few notable anniversaries on the Palestinians' big day
by Caroline Glick
Dec 1. 2012
In 1920 Haj Amin el Husseini personally invented what later became known as the Palestinian national movement. He shaped its identity around the sole cause of destroying the Jewish presence in the land of Israel. On November 28, 1941 Husseini met with Adolf Hitler in Berlin. Husseini and Himmler had planned that under German occupation, the Arabs would expand the Holocaust to the 800,000 Jews of the Arab world and the 450,000 Jews in the land of Israel.
Israeli Mother Vanquishes Knife-Wielding Terrorist
By Naomi Ragen
Nov 30. 2012
She found herself face to face with a knife-wielding Palestinian terrorist from Gaza. And so began a fight to the death between an unarmed 39 year- old mother of four and an armed terrorist in Sde Avraham, a neighborhood in southern Israel's Eshkol region near Gaza. Only Maariv (newspaper) put Yael and her heroic battle on its front page. Yediot Aharonot put it on page 25. As for the foreign press, I didn't read a single word about Marauding, barbaric terrorist murderers who seek out babies in their beds
The trap that Arik (Ariel Sharon) built
By Caroline B. Glick
Nov 27, 2012
The millions of Israelis who opposed the withdrawal from Gaza do not seek personal vindication for being right. They didn't warn against the withdrawal to advance their careers or make their lives easier. Indeed, their careers were uniformly harmed. They did it because they were patriots. They felt it was their duty to warn their countrymen of the danger, hoping to avert the disaster we now face. They should be listened to now. And their voices should be empowered by those who shunned them, because only by listening to them will we develop the arguments and the legitimacy to do what needs to be done and stop fighting to lose, again and again and again.
We Told You So! [Witless 'experts' Destroying Israel]
by Rabbi Eliezer Melamed
Nov 27, 2012
"Analytical interpretations" are merely a type of 'entertainment', whose connection to reality and logic is flimsy. Many of them previously believed in communism, and embittered the lives of many people. Today, they believe in 'Peace Now', and bring all these troubles upon us. Their god is called 'Peace Now' or 'human rights'. This is exactly the sin of idolatry taking one value and worshipping it, without giving consideration to balance with other values. It is generally believed that religious people are less realistic, because they rely more on their faith than on an objective analysis of reality, whereas people lacking faith are able to analyze a situation objectively, and as a result, their short-term assessments are more accurate. If the mainstream Israeli media were honest, they would broadcast the taped recordings of all the leaders responsible for the Oslo Accords and the retreat from Gaza, so everyone could hear their foolish promises, and realize just how distorted their ability to correctly analyze the situation is.
[Gaza] The True Response Returning to Gush Katif
by Shimon Cohen

Gaza Strip: "First, the IDF must enter, clean up the terror nests, and destroy the launch sites. Afterwards, Nahal he'ahzuyot [paramilitary settlements] are to be established, which will later be granted civilian status and become flourishing communities that will weaken Hamas. The creation of communities will make it possible to crush the Hamas economic, social, and propaganda infrastructures." The government of Israel must make hard decisions: does it want to placate the international and internal leftist domestic arenas, or to fulfill its duty to its citizens?
'A Moment of Truth in Israel'

Al Qaeda, Hamas, Fatah or any other of the many groups blanketing the region, need money and weapons to be viable. They need state sponsors and the states that sponsor them want something in return. Terrorist groups find sponsors the way that Renaissance artists found patrons, they show off their skills and wait for someone to come calling with money and guns. And then they perform for their patrons. Hamas is not fighting for Palestinian nationalism, which was already a fiction manufactured by Soviet propagandists looking up to prop up a Greater Syria, but to support the aims of Iranian and Egyptian domestic policy.
A time for [Israel's] courage and action

The American spirit has been overwhelmed by the European model of social democracy at home and appeasement and treachery abroad. But all the dependency champions who celebrated on Tuesday night cannot stop the coming storm. The greatest advantage Obama had going into the election was not demography but the fact that the full consequences of his statist economic policies and his pro-jihadist foreign policy have not yet been felt.
Happy Balfour [Declaration] Day!
By Michael Freund
Nov 2, 2012
"The Balfour Declaration was not an impetuous or sentimental act of the British government, as has been sometimes represented, or a calculated measure of political warfare. It was a deliberate decision of British policy and idealist politics, weighed and reweighed, and adopted only after full consultation with the United States and with other Allied Nations."
The Democrats' Jewish Problem
by Harry Stein
Oct 28, 2012
Of course, many have observed over the years that FDR was a masterly showman, and that his public image was largely artifice. David Brinkley, for one, who covered Roosevelt as a young reporter, notes in his memoir that the patrician president was a "social snob" who in private didn't hide his contempt for those "educated in what he called redbrick colleges." But it was in his attitude toward minorities, and Jews in particular, that Roosevelt's reputation and the facts diverge most sharply.
A place for Jews on the Temple Mount.
By Michael Freund
October 19, 2012
For over four centuries after the Caliph Omar conquered the land of Israel in 633-4 CE, a synagogue and Jewish house of study operated on the Temple Mount and Jews were able to pray there freely. Among others, this is attested to by Rabbi Abraham bar Chiya HaNassi, a leading Spanish rabbinical authority of the 12th century, who wrote in his book Megilat Megaleh that, "at the beginning, after the Romans destroyed the Temple, Israel was not prevented from coming and praying there, and similarly the kings of Ishmael enacted a beneficent custom and allowed Israel to come to the Temple Mount and build a house of prayer and study." Furthermore, he notes, "all the exiles of Israel who lived near the Temple Mount would ascend on festivals and holidays and pray there."

According to a report on Israel Channel 2 earlier this month, as of May 2011 the PA was spending NIS 26m. ($6.5m.) per month on payments to families of suicide bombers. They are also laying out an additional NIS 18m. ($4.5m.) each month in payments to the families of Palestinian prisoners, including those from Hamas and Islamic Jihad. Hence, the PA provides NIS 12,000 ($3,000) on a monthly basis to the family of Abbas al-Sayed, who was convicted of planning the 2002 Passover massacre at the Park Hotel in Netanya which murdered 30 Israelis
Romney comes up trumps
by Sarah Honig
August 15. 2012
Indeed some outrages against plain level-headedness can beggar even the most prolific of imaginations. For instance, presumptive Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's reference to Jerusalem as Israel's capital sent shockwaves of horror reverberating around the world. Obama's calculated agenda culminated in two farcical incidents this year. In March, his secretary of state's spokeswoman, Victoria Nuland, was adamant that no Israeli capital exists, leastways not one she could name. More recently, White House spokesman Jay Carney stood discomfited on his podium, unable to identify Israel's capital. The best he could muster were stock inanities like: "You know our policy," and, "Our policy hasn't changed." In comparison, Romney comes up trumps. No contest. But that's only for folks whose common sense cannot be twisted with a few syrupy sentences, folks who still know that remembering isn't divisive and racist, that murder isn't loving and unifying. Such an unyielding mind-set is judged untrendy and uncool, much as is Romney's acknowledgment of the ancient ties of the Jewish people to the cradle of their nationhood. In our topsy-turvy existence, he dared to brazenly overstep the enlightened ones' mark.
18th Annual Jewish Walk Around Temple Mount Successful!
By Yehudit Katsover & Nadia Matar
July 30, 2012
A few months before the event, the police announced that they forbid the Walk out of fear from confrontation and conflict with the Muslims coming down from the Temple Mount after another day of the Ramadan fast. This decision was canceled two days after the Women in Green organization appealed to the Supreme Court, demanding that the police allow the Walk to be held as usual. Later in his speech he referred to the future of the El Aqsa mosque, located on the Temple Mount, as he sees it, and said that we can learn one thing from Beit El's Ulpana Hill deal, and that is the idea of sawing. "There is one thing we can all learn from one of the most questionable deals we have made lately, and that is what happened at the Ulpana Hill, where they decided to dismantle and relocate the houses, rather than destroy them. At least, when the time comes to reconstruct the Temple, and that time is coming, we will dismantle and relocate the "house" that is currently there. We will cut it up and they can relocate it wherever they want, because that's where the Third Temple belongs", called out Eldad over the applause of the crowd.

Israel's 'One State' Movement Gains Momentum
by R.P. BenDedek / Raphael Ahren
July 19, 2012
It appears that this new 'Sovereignty' movement in Israel is going to render 'redundant' years of dialogue and discussion relating to a 'Two State Solution' in Israel. MK Tzipi Hotovely raising her voice said: "Friends, everybody here today knows that there is a solution -- applying sovereignty [over the West Bank]. One state for the Jewish people with an Arab minority, lest any right-winger say there's no solution!"
The War to Save Israel (Sovereignty over Judea and Samaria)
by Women in Green

Bar-Tal further stated that the application of sovereignty is not only a right, it is a moral obligation to the Arab population in Judea and Samaria, that does not enjoy proper living and economic conditions as a result of the lack of sovereignty and the anarchy that has come into being in the area. - ..the first step toward the application of sovereignty must be specifically over the Jordan Valley, and not over the settlement blocs that are in the consensus, and are obviously not meant for negotiations with the Arabs.
Should Israel apply sovereignty over all of Yehuda and Shomron?
By Michael L. Wise
July 8, 2012
As to the intellectual proposition that a "two state solution" is necessary for Israel to continue as a "Jewish democratic state", it is now well established since the groundbreaking 2005 demographic studies and projections of Zimmerman, Seid and Wise issued by the American Israel Demographic Research Group that the demographic facts and trends do not require the artificial exclusion of people and territory from Israel sovereignty. Until that study was digested by impartial academics, professors of Demography and Geography told the world and told Israelis and Israeli policy makers that there was an Arab majority between the River and the Sea and as a consequence, separation and creation of a Palestinian "State" was the only way to preserve Israel as a Jewish State. The survival of the Jewish people as distinct minorities in multiple societies suggests that Jewish society is a remarkable exception to conventional sociological thinking. Jewish minorities of 1-5% have prospered and grown in remarkably diverse environments, both economically, culturally, and demographically (sans pogroms and inquisitions) over a period of 2,500 years since the destruction of the First Temple. The Jews in Babylonia as well as in Lithuania, the Ukraine and Poland succeeded and violated all the accepted norms about assimilation and acculturation. Societies where the Jewish minority never even exceeded 5% exhibited extraordinary Jewish involvement in the highest levels of society and administrative infra-structure. We will not go into the causes and explanations, but there are many unique factors that contributed to their success. One need not explain the phenomenon to observe it as proven fact.
The unoccupied territories
by Dror Eydar
July 8, 2012
The current report recognizes an intermediate reality: At hand is a disputed territory; two entities hold it; none of the sides is considered an "occupier." There is disagreement regarding ownership, which needs to be clarified through different means, but there is no definition of "occupation" in the international legal sense of the word. Another dramatic point in the report is its stance on communities which were built without a government decision ("Unauthorized"). The report concludes that because their creation and development occurred with the knowledge, encouragement and agreement of the most senior government echelons, "this conduct must be considered to be 'authorization.'

Top institutions use power arbitrarily, without due process to prevent settlement expansion
By Moshe Dann
July 6, 2012
Such cases in which Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria have been destroyed and are threatened with destruction have exposed a widespread systematic corruption within Israel's judicial system - the State Prosecutor, the Attorney General, the Civil Administration, the Military Advocate General (the IDF's legal arm) and the High Court of Justice. In order to prevent settlement expansion, these state institutions use their power arbitrarily and without due process.

From Land-for-Peace to Title-to-the-Land
By Salomon Benzimra
June 20, 2012
This would not be a policy change from their part; it is merely a restatement of what the international community had already recognized when its members approved the Mandate for Palestine. Most of the present EU countries, during their membership at the League of Nations, approved it in 1922-23. So did Canada, Australia, Japan and many other countries which are now members of the U.N. The U.S. ratified the Anglo-American Convention in 1925 in which the full text of the Mandate was incorporated. The concept of sovereignty has been recognized as one of the most controversial in international law. Even though the de facto sovereignty of Israel over Judea & Samaria has never been asserted by Israel since 1967, the de jure title of sovereignty is iron-clad.
Palestinian Poll: Mahmoud Abbas is Corrupt & Repressive

Efrat's eighth hill: Zionism in Motion
by Women for Israel's Tomorrow

Efrat Local Council member Dovi Schefler related to those present the history of the Eitam hill since the time of King Solomon, with the expectation to find archaeological discoveries when construction begins of the neighborhood of 2,500 housing units, that will, G-d willing, turn Efrat into the capital of Gush Etzion. The Lag ba-Omer bonfire on Eitam kindled, in the hearts of the scores of residents from Efrat, Jerusalem, Kiriat Arba-Hebron, and Gush Etzion, an awareness of the importance of the Eitam hill and the need to continue going up to the hill with the demand to begin construction on it.
Israeli Police Support Muslims over Jews in 2012 Ramadan Conflict
By Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar
May 5, 2012
Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar filed a petition against the Israel Police with the High Court of Justice, concerning the Tisha be-Av eve march, a march for which thousands of marchers gather, and which the movement has conducted for eighteen years on a fixed route, in a time-honored practice...for eighteen years there has not been a single incident caused by friction, not even a year ago when Ramadan fell on the same date. If the police fear violence by the Arabs, they should be distanced from the area, and not Jews.
The Story of the Friends of Migron
by Nurit Greenger
May 2, 2012
American philanthropists purchased productive and profitable greenhouses for the remaining Arabs, but instead of growing and harvesting, with state of the art equipment, which produced over one half of the fresh produce for Israel, they were trashed and destroyed down to every seed. Did Israel gain anything positive from the disengagement, as Ariel Sharon promised she would? Yes [sic],thousands of rockets and mortars have been fired into Israel since, causing fear and chaos and even injuries and death. Yes, millions of dollars more were and are spent to fight the terrorist enclave Gaza and to keep the citizens of Israel safe. The unilateral disengagement from Gaza was a total failure. More so, it forced me to use a repulsive new terminology, such as "Jewish Pogrom," Jews vandalizing other Jews, Jews expelling other Jews.
The State Department's Jerusalem syndrome
By Caroline Glick
April 2, 2012
The new consulate is much different, and much worse. The State Department opened its new consulate in Jerusalem in October 2010. It is located in the Jewish neighborhood of Arnona. It was built on the plot that Israel allocated for the US Embassy after Congress passed Jerusalem Embassy Act in 1995 requiring the US government to move its embassy to Jerusalem. I read that construction began in 2004. I haven't been able to find out whether when construction began it was to build the embassy or a new consulate so I don't know yet whether the Bush administration thought it was building an embassy that the Obama administration turned into a consulate or if the Bush administration thought it was building a consulate that the Obama administration completed.
Who makes the law?
By Moshe Dann
April 2, 2012
This ruling should send shivers down the spine of everyone who respects the rule of law. It means that Israel's Supreme Court has been compromised by a political agenda that discriminates against Jews. By abandoning the Ottoman rules, the High Court may well have undermined the rule of law, by changing the age-old principles of land occupancy in Judea and Samaria by sudden judicial fiat.
Women in Green Press release - Migron and all of Judea and Samaria!
By Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar
April 2, 2012
The many petitions by "Peace Now" and their partners against Jewish life in Judea and Samaria might have as a result that each community deals only with their personal issues, trying to solve their own community's specific problems in their own way, with their connections, their strengths, their resources. That is how those meant for expulsion might be dragged into long technical and legal procedures, trying to "kasher" this or that outpost or community, without having the time, energy and funds to deal with the root of the problem, which is: the need to apply Israeli sovereignty over all of Judea and Samaria. This is needed in order to once and for all declare by law the future of the main national spine of Israel - Judea and Samaria, Israel's G-d given Biblical Homeland.

The murderer of three innocent Jews in France was holed up in his hideaway in a gun battle with police. The funeral of the victims, three young children and a dedicated rabbi and teacher, was reported, well attended and commemorated. The picture of the bedsteads, on which lay their remains covered by talitot, was circulated in the news media. The televised event was watched by many.

We operate in accordance with up-to-date maps that delineate all the public lands. In contrast to what Amira Hass claims, we do not plant on privately-owned land. Moreover, we do not claim personal ownership of the land or even of the trees that we plant. We have only a single aim: the redemption of the fallow land, and safeguarding of lands that belong to the Jewish people, for future generations. The Arabs, backed by the UN, the Palestinian Authority, and leftist and international organizations, come almost every day and - in broad daylight - uproot the trees that were planted by Jews on public lands. They burn and destroy the irrigation systems, and they attack those working in the fields. Our response: for every tree that the Arabs uproot, we plant two!

Our Arab enemies, backed by the UN, the Palestinian Authority and leftist international anti-Israeli organizations, come almost everyday, and - in broad daylight - uproot the trees that were planted by Jews on public lands. They burn and destroy irrigation systems, and they physically attack those Jews working in the fields. The Jewish People have returned to our G-d given biblical Homeland, especially to Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, where the very first Jewish "settlers" lived thousands of years ago-Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and later the Judges, Kings, Priests and Sages of our people. At a time when Europe was still a forested haven for primitive tribes, and Islam did not yet exist, Jews flourished in their homeland and developed the spiritual and ethical heritage that has transformed human civilization. Today's 750,000 Jewish residents living in Judea and Samaria should not be labeled "settlers", which is a mistranslation of the Hebrew "mitnachalim", but rather "heirs" or "inheritors" of the land.

And our trees are indeed soldiers because the tree that grabs the land with its roots is what decides if this land is ours. This tree is our literal soldier in the field, striking a stake in the earth and holding our ground for us. To our shame, trees planted by Arabs are protected whereas trees planted by Jews are like the Jews themselves frequent terror victims. All of Europe has been drafted to plant Arab trees. Signs of the European Union adorn the area, boasting of Europe's generous donations that enable the Arabs to wage agricultural jihad and steal the land from the Jews. The U.N. patrols the hills around Netzer so that no harm should come to the precious Arab trees.

Hevron Conference-Israeli Sovereignty
by Josh Hasten
August 2, 2011
Jerusalem Post correspondent and Latma founder Caroline Glick suggested that Israel assume control over Judea and Samaria similarly to the way Israel annexed the Golan and the Eastern neighborhoods of Jerusalem -- "quietly" without drawing the world's attention. She stressed that regardless of whether Israel annex those areas slowly over time, or all at once, either way, we will pay the price both diplomatically and militarily (arms funding ed.), so it's best to annex all at once. Glick said that most Israelis understand that future withdrawals from Judea and Samaria are a recipe for the destruction of the entire country, citing Israel's withdrawal from Lebanon in 2000 and Gaza from 2005, which subsequently led to rocket attacks and wars as the ultimate proofs. Glick was also critical of the right in Israel for remaining quiet while talk of establishing a Palestinian State is rampant (which would be another terror state she is convinced), while not presenting other rational and realistic options.

Palestinian Authority and Western Media Hypocrisy
by R.P. BenDedek / Women in Green
April 29, 2011
Under the Oslo Agreement the Palestinian Authority (PA) was committed to protecting Jewish and Christian Holy Sites, and to ensure access by all. The Arab strategy (supported by Western Media Revisionism) is to claim that each and every Jewish Holy place is rightfully a Muslim site and deny Jews access, and then they desecrate and destroy the very places they had recently deemed "holy." Why do Arabs restrict Jews from praying at Joseph's Tomb when the Israelis do not restrict Muslims from praying at their 'holy sites'?

The Globe and Mail, Canada's so-called paper of record, could only muster up a measly wire brief in its news pages to tell its national audience about this horrendous massacre. How did our public broadcaster fare? To date, CBC Radio has completely ignored the incident and CBC Television featured a misleading 30-second newsflash which falsely claimed that settlement building was as a result of peace talks "coming to a halt".

"The legal title of the Jewish People to the mandated territory of Palestine in all of its historical parts," he informs us, was first recognized on April 24, 1920 when the post-World War I Allied Supreme Council (Britain, France, Italy and Japan), meeting in San Remo, Italy, "converted the 1917 'Balfour Declaration' into a binding legal document." As the proportion of anti-Israel countries in the UN grew, "Palestinians" were given more and more recognition, support and legitimacy, unlike any other group. There is something going on in the United Nations that is working within an agenda far removed from Democratic Principles and Personal Freedoms that we expect. The worst of the bunch however, are those who prefer to rewrite history to suit their own political ideologies
The Egalitarian Syndrome
By Prof. Paul Eidelberg
November 14, 2009
Some 1.25 million Arabs are citizens of Israel. Most deny Israel's right to exist as a sovereign Jewish state. These Arabs do not suffer from the egalitarian syndrome that dominates Israel's Jewish elites. In the Arab world, they tried to keep the refugees in refugee camps. In our case, the Israeli state took them all in. Israeli Arabs vehemently oppose any settlement which would transform them into Palestinian subjects, denying them Israeli citizenship. What do the Arabs of Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and Gaza know about Abu Mazen's Palestinian Authority that Western policy-makers and public opinion molders do not know?!

They think that with American help, everything will be alright in their country, and that no harm will come upon them. Their false words and dreams of peace will soon disappear.

In any normal country missile launches on civilian population centers would represent a declaration of war. Not so in Israel. Many Israeli soldiers have died because the IDF frequently is forced not to employ its superior fire power out of concern for Arab civilians! "If we know that a terrorist who is in the midst of firing a Kassam aimed to kill, is holding his son's hand, we will not fire." ABU MAZEN is the architect of Palestinian hate-education in schools, mosques and official media - the most authentic reflection of his vision, and a manufacturing line of homicide-bombing. Notwithstanding Abu Mazen's seemingly moderate appearance, his embrace of the "Prisoners' Document" has reaffirmed the fundamentals of his own hate-education: idolizing homicide bombers, the "claim of return", terrorism and the inadmissibility of the Jewish State.

This why the Land of Israel Youth movement is constantly organizing activities under the heading "Instead of Destruction - Expansion." Going forth on marches beyond the fences, the establishment of meahazim (outpost settlements) on the hilltops, the building of Eretz Israel with our own two hands, all are counteractions to the governmental attempts to subdue us and "converge" us into ghettos before their elimination. The youth understood that the more we engage in activities for the rescue of Eretz Israel, we will change our frame of mind from despair and depression to a spirit of struggle and self-sacrifice.

So I'm through making excuses for Israel. I'm through trying to understand the incomprehensible moves of a self-flagellating nation. I'm through trying to point out the moral rightness of a state and a people who themselves fail to discern right from wrong.

But when Israel is victorious it must sue for peace. Everyone expects the Jews to be the only real Christians in this world. The Jews are a peculiar people: things permitted to other nations are forbidden to the Jews. Other nations drive out thousands, even millions of people and there is no refugee problem. Russia did it, Poland and Czechoslovakia did it, Turkey threw out a million Greeks, and Algeria a million Frenchman. Indonesia threw out heaven knows how many Chinese - and no one says a word about refugees.

In late 1941 al-Husseini arrived in Mussolini's Rome and, after conversing with Il Duce and the Fuhrer, got the Fascist and Nazi leaders to make a joint pronouncement committing their nations to helping in "the elimination of the Jewish national home in Palestine." Nazi Germans responding to the pleas of Palestinian Arabs planned to open up a "branch" of the Holocaust in the Land of Israel and exterminate the half-a-million Jews then living in the land in line with Adolph Hitler's plan to rid mankind of its "Jewish problem."

What Olmert plans to do in the next few years is to establish an armed Hamas state in Judea, Samaria and Gaza. Via the nearly complete withdrawal, Olmert will promise Hamas almost total control in the Palestinian state for generations. The Palestine of Olmert will be hostile, dissatisfied and violent. Its founding ethos will be "We've chased them out of Ofra, we'll chase them out of Tzahala too." A Hamas state will accelerate Jordan's collapse. There is no chance that the Hashemite rule will stand up against a Palestinian state on its doorstep whose religious fervor has just subdued the Zionists. Egypt will also be threatened. A victorious Muslim Brotherhood republic that controls a third of Jerusalem and devours the Temple Mount will be the beacon of zealotry for the Muslim Brotherhood in Cairo. And in Damascus. And in Amman.

(Israeli ) Courage and Honor
by Prof. Paul Eidelberg
December 20, 2005
A word about courage. In Plato's Apology, Socrates teaches us that courage is a precondition of wisdom. The coward, rather than stand up for truth, prefers to be "politically correct." His self-abasement, his lack of honor, makes him a liar. A word about honor. Honor is not "prestige." Honor depends more on self-respect than on the favorable opinion of others. The source of honor is respect for truth (so lacking among Israel's ruling elites). Honor demands more than truthfulness. Alfred North Whitehead saw that "truthfulness as an element of one's own self-respect issues from a reverence for Reason in its own right" -- hence for truth in its own right.

Better yet, what would Dubya's reaction be, G-d forbid, if the young women recently murdered waiting for a ride were his own daughters instead? Would he try his best to prevent this from happening again? Would he worry about any "inconveniences" he may cause to an enemy population deliberately targeting his people and who rejected Texas' very right to exist--regardless of its size? Would Dubya listen to others who demanded that he do nothing, or at least nothing meaningful, to stop the barbarism? Do I even need to ask such questions?

What is the King's Calendar?

Definition: King's Calendar Chronological Research
The Premise: Between the 5th and 3rd centuries BCE (but continuing down to at least 104 BCE), Sectarian redactors transcribed the legitimate 'solar year' chronological records of Israel and Judah, into an artificial form, with listed years as each comprised of 12 months of 4 weeks of 7 days, or 336 days per year, thus creating a 13th artificial year where 12 solar years existed.

When the Synchronous Chronological Data provided in the Books of Kings and Chronicles for the Divided Kingdom Period are measured in years of 336 days, the synchronisms actually align. [Refer to Appendix 5. to see how it synchronises the Divided Kingdom Period]
