-------------

From July 2016 all publishing is done on the new site.

The site you are currently on has been in operation for 12 years. It is both old and outdated in facilities.

We had to stop comments in the comment boxes because comments were not moderated and in this vicious world of no respect, people were abusing the site. There were other features available as well but hackers found ways to manipulate them.

The new site (WordPress) has a different look and different features.

GO TAKE A LOOK FOR YOURSELF

'Finding Myself in China: A Politically Incorrect Story
Now on Sale!

Between 2010 and 2016 I wrote a story about my life in China and about what I have learned and how life in China has changed my perceptions.

In 2016 I entered the publishing phase of the book only to discover that publishing true stories is a no-no for publishers and everything must be changed. You can read about my trials in the article Holding Authors for Ransom.

'Finding Myself in China: A Politically Incorrect Story' which was written specifically as an E-book has now been published and is available only from the Kingscalendar website as a pdf book. It contains more than 230 pages of text with 133 links to photographic or other background stories and events related in the story. Readers can click the links and skip straight from their e-book to read footnoted articles.

I have also just published Exerpts from 18 Chapters of 'Finding Myself in China' on the new site and you may also find on that site a list of the footnote links. You can also read how big online book stores, although not selling books for less, are robbing authors of 60% of their royalties. See How much in royalties do book authors get paid?

It is my hope that readers will help me advertise the book by recommending it to friends and posting about it on social media. I ask this only because unbeknownst to most people, Google actively prevents websites who don't participate in their advertising programs, from getting much public traction. You would be surprised at how much our lives are interferred with by big businesses like Google.

Best Wishes and Thank You

About The KingsCalendar Website

R.P. BenDedek (pseudonym) is from Brisbane Australia and has been teaching in China since 2003. He is the author of 'The Kings Calendar: The Secret of Qumran' - and -

'Finding Myself in China: A Politically Incorrect Story.'

Since 2004 he has been writing academic articles, social commentaries and photographic 'Stories from China' both here at KingsCalendar, and formerly as a contributing columnist at Magic City Morning Star News (Maine USA) where from 2009 to 2015 he was Stand-in Editor. He currently has a column at iPatriot.com and teaches English to Business English and Flight Attendant College Students in Suzhou City Jiangsu Province People's Republic of China.)

BenDedek originally created the site to publicize his research results into the Chronology of Ancient Israel. Those results were published under the title: 'The King's Calendar: The Secret of Qumran.' Whilst there have been many attempts to solve the chronological riddle of the Bible's synchronisms of reigns of the kings of Israel and Judah and their synchronism with other Ancient Near Eastern Nations, no other research is based on a simple mathematical formula which could, if it is incorrect, be disproved easily. To date, no one has been able to dismiss the mathematical results of this research.
Free to air Academic articles set forth Apologetics for and results of his discovery of an "artificial chronological scheme" running through the Bible, Josephus, the Damascus Documents of the Dead Sea Scrolls, and Seder Olam Rabbah. What is the King's Calendar?

Definition: King's Calendar Chronological Research
The Premise: Between the 5th and 3rd centuries BCE (but continuing down to at least 104 BCE), Sectarian redactors transcribed the legitimate 'solar year' chronological records of Israel and Judah, into an artificial form, with listed years as each comprised of 12 months of 4 weeks of 7 days, or 336 days per year, thus creating a 13th artificial year where 12 solar years existed.

When the Synchronous Chronological Data provided in the Books of Kings and Chronicles for the Divided Kingdom Period are measured in years of 336 days, the synchronisms actually align. [Refer to Appendix 5. to see how it synchronises the Divided Kingdom Period]
