If the Jewish calendar is based on the information in the Bible, and the King's Calendar determines that those years were recorded artificially and are excessive of true history, then from 586 BCE to the Flood, Jewish History is at least 133 years too excessive.
What impact does this have on the Jewish Calendar, given that this year, 2005 is the Jewish year 5765 (or perhaps 5632).
How would Jews generally and Israel in particular, feel about changing all their records.
I think they (Israelis) will not think its their problem! Its a Rabbi's thing!! But i think one day the Temple will bring this issue to the front. Many have died on Yom Kippur due to observing the wrong day.

Well there is a hisorty of the Priests in the Talmud. It says something like this. during the first Temple there was 20 High Preists covering 410 YEars, in the Second Temple there was 300 High Preists covering 420 years. Now that give you a ruff estimate that sometimes more than one died on Yom Kippur. It was not normal to draw lots to be the High Preist to go it, it normally went by families, who was the head of a perticular family on a high presit roster of 24 familes. but by the time of 164 BC three had been assesinated so the ruler of the Jewish [people at the time elected new sudo high preists after the order of Melkisidec! Check it out!
