Subject: GETTING RID OF ANGLO/JUDEO-CHRISTIAN CULTURE
This is a reply to one of my posts at Yahoo Forum. I have placed it here as I find it to be breath taking in its eloquence. I do not think that this site should just be restricted to issue directly related to the 'King's Calendar'.
This man has such capacity. He is by the way - a Buddhist.

Answer: Like most people of my age, when I went to school, canning was commonplace, the preferred way of disciplining unruly kids. Well the odd thing is that it worked and the odd thing is that we all left school with an education. Now in schools education is secondary, the kids are just warehoused and end up almost as ignorant when they come out as when they went in. At many university campuses in California they have to teach remedial English to freshmen because they can't put a simple sentence together. My daughter went through this system and I was so appalled by the lack of education that she was getting in a "good" public school that I ended up teaching her. History in California consisted of a brief and cursory glance at California history and that was about it. Much of it was indoctrination about obscure women who it was pretended had as much impact on California history as the men. Her "education" was a pathetic exercise in propaganda that in no way equipped her for the world she would have to enter once she left school.

Answer: The "fundamentalists" in the form of the politically correct have already taken over in American education, so your complaint is a bit late! God or anything to do with spirituality, even ethics for that matter, is banned in the U.S.A. school system.

In short, women make incompetent single mothers, as every father knows.
Research has shown that children who grow up in single father homes not only do better than children who grow up in single mother homes but embarrassingly, do better than in the traditional family. The reason is that mothers commit abuse against children the vast majority of the time, 60% to 80% depending on which survey you read.
Biological fathers commit abuse in the 5% to 20% range, again depending on what survey you happen to be reading. Of course this is all politically incorrect so the research is not well known. Besides it would upset the apple cart of the "family law" system which is designed to drain fathers of every cent they have and put it in the coffers of government, a 1.2 trillion dollar a year business in the U.S.A. alone.

Answer: Agreed, but the sad fact is that the younger generations don't know that they have been indoctrinated, they have nothing to compare it with, unlike people of our generation who can remember pre-political correct society. Try to convince the younger generation that people, including women were freer then and they simply wont believe you. How can they, they have no experience of an alternative to see?

Answer: Although many do not appreciate it, the West is first and foremost a distinct culture based, like it or not, on Christianity. This may not be all that obvious to Americans who are not surrounded by Christian antiquity as we are in Europe and Britain.
It is thanks to that tradition, that the Western enlightenment was able to develop. As a result the West has been able to make strides in almost every area of human endeavor that in the main have been good for humanity as a whole. It is a tradition of liberalism in thought that has been unfettered by constraints and marked by the spirit of free enquiry. Some of us like to think that we live in a post-Christian era, that's especially the case in Europe where Christianity is not that important as an overt practice. Church attendance in Europe is nothing compared with the U.S.A. But we deceive ourselves, the fact is that we live in a thoroughly Christian value system, it is covert but how we think is imbued with Christian assumptions both on the philosophical level and on the day-to-day level. If the West surrenders that it would be a disaster not only for the West but also for all mankind as the world view of the West decays and the source of inspiration for all the great contributions that manifest themselves in technology, science, political thought etc. dry up and go the way of all things.
One of the great characteristics of the West is that it assimilates information from other cultures like no other it is a great experiment in synthesis, that is reflected in the richness of the English language, which takes words from almost every language on earth, assimilates them, and makes them its own. The language of English, in its way, reflects the liberalism of, in particular, the Anglo-Saxon worlds openness to new and innovative things and its ability to synthesis and integration. As the Muslims on this list never tire of telling us, we got "science" from them. Yes, but we made it our own and developed it in such a way that it bears little resemblance to the crudities of Islamic science. We also plundered, independently of Islam, the ideas of the Greeks and developed parliamentary democracy from them. From other cultures we borrowed this and that and, in the main developed and improved upon them. Now we are the leaders, like it or not, of a world civilization that is developing and, what it all boils down to is the idea of freedom in thought, in politics, in science, in art, in culture etc, etc, etc, that the West represents.
The West is under attack not because it is "wrong" but because it is envied. Like all successful enterprises it has its enemies because its very success represents the doom of their worldview and they know it. It is the vigor of the West that is hated and when we start to concede to reactionary forces we, in essence, give up our civilization and the liberalism that it represents. Yes people can go on about the Imperialism of the West and all the rest of it and conveniently forget the imperialisms of other civilizations in the past, as though imperialism was a unique characteristic of the West, as if the West alone is guilty and all others innocent. But of course it is a lie and that, amongst other criticisms of the West, are really in the long run criticisms of the success of the West. If the West begins to capitulate to the demands of Islamic extremists in its midst or to any other form of extremism, it then begins to sign its own death warrant and will leave a vacuum that will not be filled by anything more enlightened but by reactionary forces that will drag the world backwards into the shackles of bigotry and political absolutism.
I personally believe that the West is the greatest force for good in the world because of its liberalism and openness. Not because it is "superior", that is really another issue, but because those traits allow for real assimilation to take place and for real developments in the understanding of the human race to blossom forth.
Edward Conze, one of the great Buddhist scholars said toward the end of his life that:"I have come to the well neigh incredible conclusion that we are the battlefield of principalities and powers that use the world for the struggle between good and evil." I don't particularly like his choice of words but then, that's his business. But in the main I believe he is right which might shock those on this list that think I'm all logic. There is a theological definition of evil that I think is quite apropos: "That which willfully denies creativity and love." I believe that the forces of political correctness and feminism are a "fifth column" in that battle. They misappropriate such things as deconstructionism, phenomenology, textual criticism, and other disciplines and use them to destroy and deceive but put nothing constructive in place of those things they attack. In my opinion, political correctness seeks to destroy the liberalism of the West from the inside by encouraging a climate where free enquiry is a crime. As I wrote a little while ago, I was watching a program about the Vikings and the scholars were complaining about how they had to look over their shoulders all the time because of the dangers of offending the politically correct who have now decided, in the service of their ideology, that the Vikings were peaceful farmers!!!
This fifth column busily at work destroying every value it can lay its hands on and going for the systematic destruction of all the underlying structures of our civilization and when those underpinnings are gone there will be nothing to replace them because it is the intention of this fifth column that nothing constructive be put in their place. It has gotten to the point here in Britain, that the established Church and all other Churches remain silent as even Christian institutions are attacked, denigrated, and banned by government. A government who, by its actions, technically attacks the queen as head of the Church in England and the head of state, thereby undermining the very oath of allegiance they take when entering public office. In Britain, politicians technically commit treason.
In America the "separation of Church and State, is used in ways that the founding fathers never intended in order to undermine Christianity. But the situation is not one of simply attacking one religion all religions are under attack. It is therefore not wise for Christians or anyone else to spend time undermining other religions whilst the enemy tries to commits havoc. If these people, agents of "evil" succeed, it will be redundant what religion you are because every religion will become an "enemy of the status quo" of political correctness, you will become guilty of "thought crimes" a process that the politically correct are already attempting to legislate as law. In this process the openness, creativity, and free enquiry that characterize the West will be destroyed and the civilization will be brought to its knees.
I have no doubt that the West will change, it already, through its short history, changed radically on several occasions. But there is no doubt in my mind that the enemy both external and internal is determined to destroy the possibility of creative change and intends to gut the West of all the values that make life worth living unless we resist them.
What the politically correct represent is nothing more than a "Talibanization" of society and thought in which decency and fair mindedness are legislated away in favor of a fascistic mode of thought in which any objection to political correctness will be dealt with accordingly. The problem isn't Islam as such; that I believe is a tool used by the politically correct in the West to drive nails in the coffin of Western civilization. The dangers are materialism, scientism, and nihilism. Political correctness and feminism are simply manifestations of nihilism. But these three modes of thought are the antithesis's of everything that the West stands for. The unfortunate thing is that while this fascistic mode of thought continues to make inroads into the vitals of Western civilization, Christians and others who recognize the enemy argue amongst themselves and by doing so allow the lunatics to take over the asylum. In my opinion all religions, those who are on the side of "spirituality", to use a term, should work together to fight an enemy that they recognize or aught to recognize from the teachings of their own religions.
We call it "Political Correctness." The name originated as something of a joke, literally in a comic strip, and we tend still to think of it as only half-serious. In fact, it’s deadly serious. It is the great disease of our century, the disease that has left tens of millions of people dead in Europe, in Russia, in China, indeed around the world. It is the disease of ideology. PC is not funny. PC is deadly serious.
If we look at it analytically, if we look at it historically, we quickly find out exactly what it is. Political Correctness is cultural Marxism. It is Marxism translated from economic into cultural terms. It is an effort that goes back not to the 1960s and the hippies and the peace movement, but back to World War I. If we compare the basic tenets of Political Correctness with classical Marxism the parallels are very obvious.
