Useless Repeat of Proportional Response!
A rocket fired from the Gaza Strip overnight last week Tuesday exploded near a home in the southern Israeli city of Be’er Sheva. Nine people were treated by Magen David Adom teams. A second rocket fired from Gaza landed off the coast of the greater Tel Aviv area, known in Israel as Gush Dan.
In retaliation, the Israeli military bombed 20 “military facilities” in the Gaza Strip (mainly empty buildings, as usual). The entrance to a naval tunnel, which would be used by Hamas’s naval commando unit, was also destroyed in the retaliatory airstrikes. In addition, Israeli air force jets bombed a number of weapons factory, military bases and other facilities connected to Hamas’s tunnel-building efforts. (The IDF had known about the tunnel for months. Hamas anticipated Israel’s reprisal and evacuated personnel from their bases in good time.)
A terrorist cell operating out of the northern Gaza Strip was eliminated in an IDF airstrike. The strike comes just hours after terrorists in the Hamas-ruled coastal enclave fired a rocket at the Israeli city of Beer Sheva. Just one terrorist killed in the strike! (IDF is able to prevent attacks from Gaza, but there is no political will to do so!)
Erez and Kerem Shalom crossings to be closed following the rocket attack. (No doubt they will be opened soon! Despite Liberman’s warnings of action against Hamas terrorists do not take his and Israeli government threats seriously. The attack on Be’er Sheva is another step in escalation of Hamas war against Israel. Israel must use this opportunity to remove all enemy population from Jewish land, starting from Gaza!)

FOOD for THOUGHT by Steven Shamrak
Some self-hating Jews justify their attitude toward Israel by saying that they have the right to criticize the government of Israel. I have been critical and against policies of many Israeli governments most of my life, but providing support for the enemies of Israel and for creation of a new Islamic terror state hostile to Jews is treason and idiotic!
More than half of the forests in the western Negev are now gone, burned down over the past six months by the Hamas terrorist organization in its arson terror campaign. Since the beginning of the kite and balloon terror campaign, more than 1,100 fires were recorded. (There has been no condemnation from any international environmental organization!)
The Palestinian Authority condemned the Trump administration over its decision to close a consulate facility in eastern Jerusalem, and incorporate its functions into the new Jerusalem embassy, which was inaugurated earlier this year. (Another step in the right direction! President Trump has been consistently conducting, as he promised during his campaign, a pro-Israel policy. It is a shame that most Jews in the US have the wrong priorities!)
Supreme Court permitted BDS activist Lara Alqasem to study in Hebrew University. The court ruled against the state’s position that Alqasem is prohibited from entering the country under Israel’s anti-BDS law, which bars non-citizen supporters of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement from visiting Israel.
The International Criminal Court’s chief prosecutor warned Israel that the planned demolition of an illegal Bedouin village in Judea and Samaria may constitute a war crime. In a statement issued hours after a rocket fired from the Gaza Strip destroyed a home in Be’er Sheva, Fatou Bensouda also warned that she is “similarly alarmed by the continued violence, perpetrated by actors on both sides. (Anti-Semites have never made the same warnings when Jewish homes on Jewish land were destroyed by Israel, and they only ‘alarmed’ about “continued violence” after Israel retaliated to prolonged terror attacks!)
Abbas met J Street leadership, and thanks the group for their lobbying efforts. PA president tells delegation of his ‘appreciation for their efforts to support the peace process within American society’. (Traitors help enemy to use the non-existent peace process to destroy Israel!)
US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman erased an old red line with his visit to the Samaria city of Ariel, where he attended a business event held by the Judea and Samaria Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Jewish Contributions to the World
2018 Nobel Prize in Physics – A 96-year-old Jewish Nobel Prize winner says he’s driven by science not accolades. Arthur Ashkin revolutionized eye surgery with his invention of ‘optical tweezers’ that grab particles, atoms, viruses and other living cells with laser beam fingers.
Israel indefinitely delays planned demolition of West Bank Bedouin village Khan Al-Ahmar in order to “exhaust negotiations and proposals received from various sources…” Khan al-Ahmar was built in the 1990s on land belonging to the Israeli town of Kfar Adumim, east of Jerusalem. The encampment is home to some 170 Bedouin, who have expanded the community in recent years with the aid of foreign governments. (Aren’t they already ‘exhausted’? Bibi talks nice, but he is a gutless political wimp!)
The General Assembly voted by an overwhelming majority to temporarily grant the “State of Palestine” additional rights and privileges, allowing it to head the biggest bloc of developing countries at the United Nations. A whopping 146 states voted in favour of the Resolution! PA’s delegates will be able co-sponsor proposals and amendments, make statements, and raise procedural motions. The PA will assume presidency of the Group of 77 plus China, a consortium now consisting of 134 nations that often speaks in one voice at the General Assembly, on January 1, 2019, and hold it for one year. (Israel, the US and maybe a few dissenting countries need to leave the “Ugly Nothing’!)
Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman reiterated his position that only a “serious blow” to Hamas will put an end to the violent rioting on the Gaza border and the arson terrorism. “a serious blow to Hamas could bring us at least five more years of quiet.” (The “serious blow” that will finish endless terror from Gaza will come when Israel removes Hamas and all enemy population from Gaza!)
The European Union (EU) called for “restraint” along the Gaza border after yet another day of violence by Palestinian Arabs in the area. “We expect Israel respects the principle of necessity and proportionality in its use of force. And we expect that Hamas and other extremist groups in Gaza do not exploit the demonstrations for other ends and ensure they remain strictly non-violent,” said EU spokeswoman Maja Kocijancic. (Jew-haters knew when Hamas was going to ‘demonstrate’ – but never really condemned them, but always demanded that Israel must show restraint after terror attacks!)
Around a third of the seats on the 47-member council, based in Geneva, were up for grabs for slots lasting from 2019-2022. 18 candidates are in the running for 18 seats – removing any competition! New members Bahrain, Cameroon, the Philippines, Somalia, Bangladesh and Eritrea were elected, in spite of having poor human rights records. Current members include several countries with questionable human rights records, including, Iraq, Cuba, China, Qatar, Angola, Burundi, Pakistan, Venezuela, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
QUOTE of the WEEK:
“Moses said to his people, “My people, remember God’s blessing on you, how He raised prophets among you, and appointed kings for you, and gave you that not given to other people. My people, go into the Holy Land which God has ordained for you. Do not turn back or you will be bereft.” – Surahs 5-20, 21
“And We caused the people who had been oppressed to inherit the eastern regions of the land and the western ones, which We had blessed. And the good word of your Lord was fulfilled for the Children of Israel because of what they had patiently endured. And We destroyed (all) that Pharaoh and his people were producing and what they had been building.” – Surah 7-137
“We gave the Children of Jacob good things and settled them in a specific place. They did not disagree among themselves until enlightenment was obtained. We will settle the differences between them in the End of Days.” – Surah 10-93 – These Qur’an teachings are ignored by Muslim states and supporters of fake Palestinians, claim that they are good Muslims! They only pay attention to when Jews are called “Apes and Pigs”! (Sura 2:65, Sura 7:166, Sura 5:60)
Made in Israel — Earth-Lovers are Silent!
Every day, Israelis dispose of some 1,500 metric tons of plastic waste. Most of it, 75.7%, is buried in landfills. Soon a unique facility will begin operating – it is designed to recycle plastic and turn it into fuel. The recycling process involves melting and depolymerizing the plastic until fuel resembling oil is derived. The facility will be able to derive 600 kilograms (1,320 pounds) of an oil-like substance from every ton of plastic waste they treat.
An Israeli company has patented a process to convert household trash from landfills into reusable plastic. Items like glass, metals and minerals are extracted, and the remaining garbage – banana peels, the chicken bones and the hamburger, the dirty plastics, the dirty cartons, the dirty papers – is dried and milled into a powder. The steely gray powder then enters a reaction chamber, where it is broken down and reconstituted as a plastic-like composite material. Process produces no carbon dioxide or toxic by-products, and uses little energy and no water! According to the United Nations Environment Program, five percent of global greenhouse gas emissions are produced by decomposing organic material in landfills. (Because these environment-saving innovations are developed by Israel, they are ignored by the rest of the anti-Semitic world. Shame on those who are screaming “save the earth” but ignore important environmental discoveries just because they are made by Jews!)

NOTE: The Term Palestinians is used as a commonly known definition, not as acceptance of the existence of a fake nation, which was created by Arab states, with the help of the Soviet Union, in 1960s in order to discredit and undermine legitimacy, and eventually destroy the Jewish state!
