Trauma from Prolonged Warfare!
by David Israel
An innovative study, conducted by the University of Haifa and the Israel Trauma and Resiliency Center (NATAL), has provided the first real-time profile of trauma symptoms experienced by civilians on the front line during protracted warfare.
The study, which was conducted during Israel’s 2014 Operation Protective Edge in and around the Gaza Strip, found that people who reported having a startle response to everyday situations (such as loud or sudden noises) were at higher risk of experiencing post-traumatic symptoms, such as sleeping problems, a sense of dissociation, or difficulty concentrating…
A further symptom that predicts a range of other symptoms over the next 12 hours was reduced ability to feel emotions. Participants who reported blunted emotions were at higher risk for developing a sense of detachment, anger, sleeping problems, and so forth within the next 12 hours. Participants who reported strong negative emotions on a real-time basis were more likely to develop other symptoms over the next 12 hours, including sleeping problems or feelings of guilt… (Israel is being viewed by professionals as a ‘gold mine’ for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, PTSD, studies. Combined with the effect of the Stockholm syndrome on Jewish population, it becomes understandable why there is such a high level of support for an illusion of the peace process among Jews. It is time to close the ‘Lab’! Only by regaining control of our own destiny we’ll be able to bring peace to Israel!)
Food for Thought by Steven Shamrak
So many Jews, even some distinguished authors and public figures, have been saying “It is time to…” so many time, about so many issues Israel and Jewish people are facing, Rise of anti-Semitism, Jewish home-land, fake Palestinians and so-called refugees are just some major ones. But still nothing is done! It is not because ‘them’ or ‘others’, but because of the Jewish leadership and weakness of consecutive Israeli governments, in particular – they are gutless! Yes, “It is time to” stop blaming ‘them’ and start to do what should have been done long time ago!
Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations on Thursday presented an aerial photograph of an alleged Iranian base outside Damascus. “There are over 80,000 extremists from all over the Middle East who are members of Shia militias in Syria under Iranian control.” Danon also discussed the May 12 deadline by which US President Donald Trump must decide if the United States will remain part of the Iran nuclear deal.
The governor of Brazil’s Sao Paulo state apologized to the Jewish community for welcoming a Muslim clergyman accused of having ties with Hezbollah. Marcio Franca says visiting Lebanese delegation was not vetted properly, and that he was not familiar with Sheikh Bilal Mohsen Wehbe. (Meeting someone he was not “familiar with”; at this political level – what bull!)
The Kingdom of Jordan began the process of revoking the Jordanian citizenship of about 30 Palestinian Authority and Fatah officials and their families. The officials who are slated to lose their citizenship include PA President Mahmoud Abbas, Chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat and Palestinian Authority negotiator Ahmed Qurei (“Abu Ala”). (Israel needs to help all fake Palestinian to return and end the occupation of the Jewish land by invaders!)
The Habayit Hayehudi party issued an ultimatum to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Habayit Hayehudi threatened that if a vote is not held within 10 days on the bill limiting the power of the High Court of Justice to rule legislation unconstitutional, the party’s Knesset members will not participate in any Knesset votes supporting the government coalition. (The leader of Israel has no balls! He fears to make any meaningful and decisive steps. Netanyahu is weak, and is unwilling to stand up to the anti-Zionist, leftist establishment. Step down and do not disgrace yourself!)
Israel has abandoned its plans to forcibly deport African migrants who entered the country illegally, after failing to find a willing country to take them in. Benjamin Netanyahu’s government had been working on an arrangement to expel thousands of mostly Eritrean and Sudanese men. (What is wrong with moving them back to Sinai, where they crossed to Israel from?)
As French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel beat a path for the White House in back-to-back – Merkel, Macron, and Mogherini lobbied hard to convince Trump not to honour his campaign pledge to move the U.S. embassy to Israel’s capital.
Around 20 civilians have been killed in week-long regime airstrikes on Yarmouk, a neighbourhood of Damascus referred to as a “Palestinian refugee camp”.
The European aerospace giant is opening an office as soon as a lease can be signed, because it sees Israel as a top source for hi-tech knowledge & development in expanding the company’s military aviation business, specifically in cybersecurity.
Moscow will equip Syria’s armed forces with S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems. The Kremlin, which in previous years had bowed to Israeli pressure to not supply the systems to Damascus, has threatened to change its stance after US and UK-led attacks on Syria earlier this month, in reaction to an alleged chemical weapons attack in Douma. (As usual, it is fault of Jews/Israel – Why?)
Some of the IDF soldiers and officers who took part in controlling demonstrations on the Gaza border in recent weeks, who have been summoned for an interrogation by the General Staff investigation unit headed by Brig. Gen. Moti Baruch – or those who think they will be summoned later – have already sought legal counsel. The investigation team is looking into cases in which there is suspicion of “excessive interpretation” of the rules of engagement. (When lawyers are constantly second-guessing and questioning front-line soldiers and officers, it destroys the army morale and endangers them on battlefields, due to indecisiveness when prompt action is needed!)
QUOTE of the WEEK:
“Success does not consist in never making mistakes but in never making the same one a second time.” – George Bernard Shaw – For how long is Israel going to pretend that Arabs and so-called Palestinians want peace and tolerate terror, as well as international humiliation? The Jewish state needs to decisively reunite Jewish ancestral land – only then will Eretz-Israel gain due respect from international bigots!
The so-called Palestinian Arabs are engaged in a “protest” at the Gaza border with Israel to draw attention to their “Right of Return” to land in Israel!
The United Nations developed a Universal Declaration of Human Rights that underscored the basic human rights that all people in the world possess. The UDHR states clearly in Article 13 that:
1. Everyone has the right to freedom of movement and residence within the borders of each State.
2. Everyone has the right to leave any country, including his own, and to return to his country.”
Note that the relevant clause is that a person is entitled to leave his COUNTRY and then return to that country. For Jews, that means that the remaining survivors of the 850,000 people that were kicked out of Arab countries including Iraq, Egypt, Libya and Morocco have the basic human right to return to that country, should they so desire. However, the stateless Arabs of Palestine (SAPs) have no such right, as Palestine was never a country but an administered region from 1924 to 1948…
On December 11, 1948, the United Nations General Assembly passed Resolution 194in the middle of Israel’s War of Independence. Article 11 stated:
“Resolves that the refugees wishing to return to their homes and live at peace with their neighbours should be permitted to do so at the earliest practicable date, and that compensation should be paid for the property of those choosing not to return and for loss of or damage to property which, under principles of international law or in equity, should be made good by the Governments or authorities responsible;”
This is the clause that the Palestinian narrative continues to call out, but it fails in many regards:
– There are fewer than 30,000 “refugees” from 1948 are alive today. Their descendants that claim a right to return have no such claim as they are (as their parents and grand-parents) not refugees;
– The actions of the Palestinians have clearly shown that they have no desire to “live at peace with their neighbours,” as evidenced by the many wars and terrorism waged against Israel, the election of a Holocaust denier to the presidency that pays people to kill Israeli Jews, and the election of the terrorist group Hamas to a majority of the Palestinian parliament
… These people have no legal rights to move to Israel and their actions at the border constitute a threat of invasion and must be addressed on such basis. And if the PA acting president Mahmoud Abbas wants to quote UN Resolution 181 (which the entire Arab world rejected in 1947) and UN Resolution 194, he should be prepared to relinquish Bethlehem and dreams of eastern Jerusalem.
Palestinian Arabs’ “Great March of Return” is nothing more than the “Great MYTH of Return.”
Note: “The truth is that most of the Arab Palestinians who left in 1948, between 400,000 to 500,000 of them (this is the real number, not a commonly known – the inflated one), had never seen an Israeli soldier! They did not flee because they feared Jews, but because of a rational and reasonable calculus: the Jews will be exterminated (that’s what their leaders told them, when it ordered and even forced many of them to leave); we will get out of the way while that messy and dangerous business goes forward, and we will return afterwards to reclaim our homes, and to inherit those nice Jewish properties as well. They guessed wrong!”

NOTE: The Term Palestinians is used as a commonly known definition, not as acceptance of the existence of a fake nation, which was created by Arab states, with the help of the Soviet Union, in 1960s in order to discredit and undermine legitimacy, and eventually destroy the Jewish state!
