Looking at the NEWS March 30, 2018: ‘Special Privilege’

Liberal in tolerance but
Alt-right in protecting freedom of thought and speech.

My father told me to believe nothing of what I hear and only half of what I see because humans have a great capacity for self-deception. Today we know only too well how people only see what they want to see. This photo was taken from my kitchen window in Suzhou in 2012 on Chinese New Year. This is not a war zone. It just looks that way. You should see the video! CLICK THE PHOTO

The BS Liberal Narrative

In last week’s Looking at the NEWS we looked at the Flipside of some issues raised in the Media, and today I would like to continue this type of theme by referencing some articles which so totally reveal the BS involved in a number of ‘SOCIAL CAUSES.’

I personally think that the Number One politically correct social cause today is evidenced in the knee-jerk response from the left when you say anything about Islam or Muslims. This liberal ‘L-O_V_E’ of all things Muslim has in recent years resulted in a political movement aimed at preventing any form of criticism of Islam. (Far be it from us that we should say something ‘not nice’ about people.)

As Muslims are only viewed as a minority group; as immigrants and therefore V-I-C-T-I-M-S of racism, they are accorded special status within leftist ideology. This then translates into special privileges. While YOU – a member of the white privilege group; a member of the majority; a member of a non-Muslim group – may not say think, say or write anything unpraiseworthy of Muslims and Islam, Muslims are allowed to think, say and write anything they want about YOU because you are not one of them.

(Since some bleeding brains hearts are bound to believe that Muslims WOULD NEVER say anything negative about US, I can’t help but insert here that as I did live in China for 15 years and do speak Chinese, I DO KNOW that what the Chinese tell you in English is not usually consistent with what they say in Chinese. [Chinese and Arabic press are renowned for this]. They do understand how political correctness works and are masters of it AND I’m sure all immigrants play the same game.)

However writer and Muslim Tahir Gora is not afraid to call a spade a spade when it comes to talking about those Muslims whose values run counter to  our western democratic beliefs. In France recently even a number of intellectuals decided to throw off their fear of politically correct punishment and abuse and tell it like it is: 100 French Intellectuals Denounce Islamist Separatism.

A group of 100 diverse French intellectuals denounced Islamist totalitarianism in the newspaper Le Figaro on March 19, 2018. The following is a translation of their statement made by Clarion contributor Leslie Shaw.

You need to read both Tahir Gora’s article and that mentioned immediately above to see the deception involved in the liberal progressive knee-jerk defense of anything related to Islam, and to understand the sinister motives of those initiating the political aspects of preventing any criticism of Islam.

QUOTE: For people to live according to the laws of their community or caste, in contempt of the laws of others, for people to be judged only by their own, is contrary to the spirit of the Republic. The French Republic was founded on the refusal to accept that private rights can be applied to specific categories of the population and on the abolition of privilege. On the contrary, the Republic guarantees that the same law applies to each one of us. This is simply called justice. (100 French Intellectuals article)

Palestinians are another group who seem to receive special treatment by leftist media and ideologues, but whilst most rage when they hear that some poor darling Palestinian child has been killed in the process of Israel returning fire on Palestinian rocket launchers, most either know nothing about how these and other Muslim kids are treated by their fanatical leaders, or, in their hatred of Israel, they pretend not to know.

The Clarion Project has produced quite a few films to educate the genuinely stupid ideological sheep in western societies, and their latest film is called “Kids: Inside the Terror Factory

Terrorist organizations such as ISIS, Boko Haram, the Taliban, al-Qaeda, Hamas, and Hezbollah are creating poisonous childhood environments that celebrate and encourage violence. Their tactics range from threats, force, and intimidation to more subtle brainwashing through the media and school systems. These methods of indoctrination are severe forms of emotional and physical child abuse. Regardless of the methodology used, the end result is the same: they are raising a generation of kids who believe that the West is their enemy and must be destroyed.

All children should have a peaceful upbringing and the opportunity to pursue a meaningful life. But today, radical regimes and organizations are systematically indoctrinating the next generation of kids to embrace violence and hatred. At best, these children internalize toxic values and become full of hate….

If you didn’t know better you would think they were talking about all those alt-left youngsters in the good old U.S. of A.

The problem today with both left and right political ideologues is that neither is interested in actually researching. Many would disagree with that statement simply because they claim to have researched everyone and everything which supports their particular positions.

But real research requires what in science is called ‘falsification’; the process of trying to discover if there is a flaw in the theory and in the process of demonstrating it to be true.

Falsification is an integral part of all investigative scientific research. [Davies. P. (1992) The Mind of G-d. New York. Simon and Schuster. p.25 ] ‘the emphasis is thus on falsification, not verification. A powerful theory is one that is highly vulnerable to falsification, and so can be tested in many detailed and specific ways’

The problem today is that no one can stand being wrong, so the last thing that they want to do is to look at anything which will prove them wrong. When it comes to issues involving Israel and Muslims however, many leftist ideologues could learn a few lessons from Maajid Nawaz who on January 23, 2018 published an article titled: Human rights are universal, Amnesty. Even Jewish rights in which he writes:

This week, Amnesty UK cancelled a Jewish Leadership Council organised debate it was due to host between Fred Carver of the UN Association, and Hillel Neuer of UN Watch. Amnesty had initially agreed to join the panel debate, but withdrew their speaker months ago. Such rot has been festering for years. Being once adopted by Amnesty International as a Prisoner of Conscience, I am both intimately familiar with the organisation and indebted to the hard work of their many grass roots and sincere human rights activists. Human rights are meant to be universal. This means that we defend the right of someone to say something, even while we vehemently disagree with what they are saying.

(He must be kidding right? It is our duty to attack dissidents who stand in the way of the leftist social order)

[Maajid Nawaz was a former recruiter for hardline Islamist group Hizbut Tahrir but is now a leading counter-extremism activist, author and radio host. He was born and raised in Essex, England to parents of Pakistani origin. His activities eventually landed him in an Egyptian prison in December 2001. There, he began a journey which radically changed his views. He has become a leading critic of Islamism and a relentless campaigner for liberal democratic values. In 2008, he founded the Quilliam Foundation, a pioneering counter-extremism organization.

Earlier this year, when Amnesty International gratuitously banned UN Watch and London’s Jewish community from its premises, Nawaz published a powerful article that defended Hillel Neuer and rebuked Amnesty, invoking his own status as one of their former prisoners of conscience.]

Many of today’s intellectual elites – read progressive liberals – are no better than Pavlov’s dog when it comes to conditioned responses, but if they would reject their psychological conditioning for a moment, they might discover that being Palestinian is as non-synonymous with being ‘good’ as being Israeli is non-synonymous with being bad.

In Caroline Glick’s March 16, 2018 article about Rex Tillerson’s firing, she pointed out that Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah’s convoy was attacked by a roadside bomb during an official visit in Hamas-controlled Gaza. This was not an Israeli hate inspired attempt to kill Hamdallah.

Hamdallah was in Gaza to inaugurate a wastewater treatment facility sponsored by the World Bank. The facility was approved 14 years ago, but infighting between Hamas, which runs Gaza, and Fatah, the PLO ruling faction which controls the Palestinian Authority (PA), blocked its operation time after time.

Gaza has two water problems: insufficient ground water, and massive pollution of the existing supply due to the absence of sufficient sewage treatment facilities. Untreated sewage is dumped directly into the Mediterranean Sea, and then seeps back into Gaza’s groundwater.

The ignorant believe that all of the Palestinian problems are caused by Israel, but that simply is not true. Life is never as simple as many of the simple minded ideologues wish to believe. For instance: there is quite a movement underway in the USA today to get guns banned in America. The left are doing everything they can to void the Second Amendment right and they have successfully involved American students. America’s youth are now revolting! (Oh yes! Aren’t they just!)

But there are four problems with their righteous indignation. The first is that while they are concerned for the children of America, they are not concerned with abortion – the killing of a child before it has a chance to live in the world.

(Only a mother has the right to kill her unborn infant.)

The second thing is that deaths from car crashes which are slightly more than deaths from gunshots have not resulted in righteous and indignant marches to have cars banned from the country. Death is death! Isn’t it?

(Car accidents have nothing to do with changing the constitution.)

The third thing is that the media hoopla about America’s youth and their rejection of the Second Amendment is not actually accurate. What we see on the news is but a byte from the overall picture.

(The proof of their support can be seen in Media footage)

There are plenty of young people in America who have not allowed themselves to be triggered by leftist ideologues. See: Guy Benson’s article at Townhall on March 26th 2018 (Brother of Parkland Victim: My Anti-Gun Peers Need to Stop Abusing My Sister’s Memory to Push an Agenda She Didn’t Support)

This man does not believe it’s right to demonize the NRA or NRA-supported political figures in connection with the violent death of his daughter. He seems disgusted by the dark irony of the abortion lobby polluting this hallowed ground with placards purporting to care about children’s lives. And he appears barely able to contain his anger over being told who “speaks for” his slain child. Can you blame him?

The fourth and final point I would make (about the issue of gun violence in schools) is that the figures from China demonstrate only too well that the absence of guns does not result in an absence of violence in schools and public places. Knives, acid and homemade bombs maim and kill thousands of people in China each year as disgruntled students, teachers and other citizens resort to violence to vent their anger and frustration. Guns are not really the problem.

(How dare you compare China with the USA. China is a repressive communist country that denies citizen rights to carry arms, vote for whomever they please, and practice religion as they see fit. It is also a country that kills millions of babies every year through forced abortions.)

The real problem is that America is full of angry violent people who believe that they have the right to lash out and attack anyone who offends or hurts them in any way. Guns are just their weapons of choice, but if you take away the guns, those people still exist and they will use other weapons. As any good doctor will tell you, treating the symptom is never enough. You need to cure the disease.

It is the ideological left which supports abortion on demand and fights to remove guns – allegedly because they care about human life. Their hypocrisy leaves me wondering what their real agenda is. They do also like to carry on about the police and it seems also that some on the left even don’t much approve of the military.

Teacher Who Called Military “Lowest of our Low” Receives a Surprise from School Officials by James Baker ‘Vets Before Illegals’ March 26, 2018

The teacher who made national headlines for going on an anti-military tirade has now been fired. The teacher was secretly filmed by a student who then showed the video to his parents… “The classroom should never be a place where students feel that they are picked at, bullied, intimidated,” demanded Aurora Villon who currently resides as the Board of Education President.

We usually assume that activist groups – all of which are in some fashion political – have a true and fundamental concern for people and the issues for which their activist groups fight. But as you will hear in this Prager U video found in the following link, not everything that looks and sounds good is actually true.  [Black Politicians aren’t helping much by Jason Riley of the Manhattan Institute]

Between 1970 and 2012, the number of black elected officials rose from fewer than 1,500 to more than 10,000. How has this affected the black community? Jason Riley of The Manhattan Institute answers the question in this vid

Much is made of ‘White Privilege’ in the USA but as the PragerU video points out, having greater numbers of Black officials does not result in substantial improvement of the ‘Black condition.’ In years gone by there were black leaders who called for an end to special quotas for black students because ultimately the quotas had a negative impact on student performance. The point is that it is hard work and dedication and not privilege when leads to economic success.

The ‘White Privilege’ cry of modern day leftist is a false cry which denies the reality that there are millions of white people who grow up socially and economically disadvantaged who never had their dreams fulfilled. And it is equally true that many overcame their adversities and made a success of their lives.

Despite all the Leftist BS, the term Palestinian is not synonymous with ‘saint’; Muslim is not synonymous with ‘victim’;  Black is not synonymous with ‘oppressed’; Guns are not synonymous with ‘murder’; and “White” is not synonymous with ‘Privileged.’

I find it amazing that in a world that rejects God and Divine Creation in favor of Evolution and Mother Nature, that so many people do not understand the first rule of nature, which is that only the fittest survive. There are no free lunches; no special privileges; no special protections; no rights to life; no rights to freedom and no one to complain to when you and yours suffer.

And in our social construct called Western Civilization, where are those to whom aborted fetuses cry for justice? Who provides safety and ongoing care for the victims of crime? Who provides for those of the ‘white’ persuasion who are suffering just like those of the ‘black’ persuasion? And why does it even matter given that we are, in the final analysis, just pond slime that accidentally managed to evolve? We have no purpose or destiny other than to die!

Oh! Perhaps that’s it! Those who believe in God actually have some hope while those who just evolved from pond slime simply can’t cope with Mother Nature and so demand special privileges.
