Looking at the NEWS March 2nd 2018 – Strange People!

Liberal in tolerance but
Alt-right in protecting freedom of thought and speech.

My father told me to believe nothing of what I hear and only half of what I see because humans have a great capacity for self-deception. Today we know only too well how people only see what they want to see. This photo was taken from my kitchen window in Suzhou in 2012 on Chinese New Year. This is not a war zone. It just looks that way. You should see the video! CLICK THE PHOTO

A Strange World Full of Strange People

Over the last couple of months I have not done any ‘What’s in the News Articles’ and this was basically because the news is so totally depressing. Sometimes I read the news and just wonder what use the human race is – or more specifically – what use the white superior intellectual ideologues are.

Disclaimer: I know that the USA is a Republic. Ok? But like so many western countries it holds to democratic principles, the first of which is the right to free speech. It is surprising therefore that in the USA where one assumes that free speech is a right, that free speech is actively suppressed by progressive liberals and politically correct types. You don’t believe me? Read on.

Speech First – the New Organization Helping Students Sue Schools that Suppress Free Speech by Cortney O’Brien Feb 28, 2018

Students are afraid to speak their minds in class, according to a survey from the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education and the Knight Foundation. This self-censoring is thanks in part to a culture that punishes unpopular opinions. The survey, conducted in 2016, found that free expression on campus is slowly becoming extinct. A slight majority of students surveyed admitted that the campus climate prevents them from saying what they believe because “others might find it offensive.”

“Through advocacy, litigation, and other means, we will put colleges and universities on notice that shutting down unwanted speech will no longer be tolerated.”

Another of the accepted rights within Democratic Societies is that of association. One is free to associate with likeminded people. This however is unacceptable to the liberal progressive politically correct mind. Like those people who years ago demanded that girls be allowed into the BOY Scouts, it appears that religious groups must accept into leadership those who do not follow the theological principles of that group. As the article below points out, those same liberal progressive politically correct ideologues however WOULD NOT want to apply their strict standards to their own organizations.

Harvard Punishes Well-Respected Christian Student Club by
Todd Starnes Feb 27, 2018

Gay rights groups, for example, should be able to select their leaders using whatever criteria they wish. Should they be compelled to offer leadership roles to supporters of conversion therapy? Of course not! Likewise, College Republicans should not be forced to accept Democrats as leaders and vice versa.

In addition to the democratic right of free association there is the implied right to believe what you will and ‘shop where you want.’ Those who believe in the American 2nd Amendment and those who don’t, both must be respected in a democratic environment. Unfortunately the liberal progressive politically correct ideology does not hold to that notion. They instead believe not only that you must believe what they believe, but that your business must conduct itself not on sound or proven business principles but on the ideological persuasions of Cultural Marxists. Many businesses over the years have kowtowed to the political whims of the Cultural Marxists and some haven’t. Ideological arrogance sometimes assumes that most of the population believes the same things. Sometimes they are wrong and businesses suffer.

Backfire: Favorability Ratings Plummet For Companies Who Cut Ties With NRA by Guy Benson Feb 28, 2018

As I noted in my tweet thread (below), I’m neither an NRA member nor a gun owner or enthusiast. Nevertheless, I’ve found it profoundly grating so see corporate America cowering before a loud, organized mob that browbeats corporations into taking sides in the culture war. It’s exactly the sort of endless and boundless politicization of everything that we decried in our book. I resent it, just as I resent the feeling that a company to whom I give many thousands of dollars each year is actively alienating me through partisan signaling.

On the issue of guns and gun control I thought the following article hilarious. Of course President Trump is wrong to want the military armed. I also think it high time that the American Government STOPPED arming American troops serving in foreign countries. It would be so much more peaceful if they did not carry ammunition.

President Trump Prods Big Change for Weapons on Military Bases Feb 26, 2018 by James Baker

“We’re going to look at that whole military base gun-free zone,” Trump explained. “If we can’t have our military holding guns, it’s pretty bad. We had a number of instances on military bases, you know that. So we want to protect our military. We want to make our military stronger and better than it’s ever been before.”

The Commander in Chief also spoke of the Chattanooga shooting and how the gunman was able to take the lives of 5 military members who were unarmed. Even after the incident, the Department of Defense refused to arm its personnel.

When it comes to ridiculous comments (and yes my comment in the previous section about troops serving abroad was facetious) I read Cortney O’Brien’s article at Townhall.com titled Trump Publicly Rebukes Sessions Again (Feb 28, 2018) and I just had to laugh at the comment about loyalty.

On CNN, Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-MD) suggested the attorney general deserves better, considering he was one of Trump’s strongest supporters during the 2016 election.

“The president is loyal only to those who are unquestionably loyal to him,” Hoyer intoned.

That, he said, is the opposite of “draining the swamp.”

Hmmm? ‘The president is loyal only to those who are unquestionably loyal to him.’ What in heavens does that mean exactly? That the president should be loyal to those who are definitely NOT LOYAL to him? Is that how the progressive liberal politically correct Cultural Marxist ideologues live their lives?

Sometimes I just wonder if people ever stop to listen to what they say. I watched a video presentation on Facebook today about Schumer who, on two different occasions spoke for and against the ‘Dreamers’ in the USA. I understand that politicians are liars at the best of times and often contradict themselves but in the quote above I just wonder what that ‘Hoyer’ person’s definition of loyalty was.

Now on the issue of Facebook, I posted to my Facebook page a link to a PragerU.com article I received about PragerU’s lawsuit against Facebook and Google.

We’re Headed to Court by PragerU

For more than a year, YouTube has continued to restrict access to more and more of our videos – simply because they present a conservative point of view. There are currently over 40 PragerU videos that are restricted. Silicon Valley giants like YouTube think that they can censor the ideas they don’t agree with. They promote their Leftist ideology, and censor conservative speech.

I have previously published my own article on Google in which I cited many different articles that tell the same story as PragerU. Google (in my case) and Facebook (in PragerU’s case) DO NOT BELIEVE IN DEMOCRATIC FREEDOMS. They are unashamedly dictatorial, totalitarian, manipulative ideological entities whose primary focus is to PROFIT every which way they can while financially punishing anyone who does not kowtow to their ideological bent.

Most people are completely unaware of what lays behind the facades of many of the world’s biggest (virtual) Monopolies, and as I pointed out in my article on Google, Google acts almost exactly like the Chinese Government to which Google objected before moving out of mainland China to set up in Hong Kong. I say ‘almost exactly’ because had the Chinese Government acted like Google does, Google wouldn’t have been allowed to operate out of Hong Kong. Google is HYPOCRITICAL!

I’m going to finish up here with a comment that some conservatives may not like, but first a little instruction about language. I have studied a number of languages. I currently speak three languages so I know what I am talking about. The progressive liberal politically correct idiots – oh sorry – I meant to write ‘ideologues’ believe a whole host of idiotic things about the use of personal pronouns, gender specific words, and words that give offense to people whose sensitivities are such that they take offense easily.

Take the words ‘he’ and ‘she’ for instance. These are gender specific words and if you are a good Cultural Marxist you must ditch such offensive language. Unfortunately, it seems that most Cultural Marxists have never learned to speak any language other than English for if they had, they would know that in Latin languages, even inanimate objects have ‘gender.’ Changing the English language to satisfy the ideologues is easy. Try doing it for many other languages in the world.

The other thing that these ideologues have never done apparently is travel to other English speaking countries. Americans for instance have the audacity to travel in Australia using the word ‘Fanny’ to refer to their butts when in Australia; ‘Fanny’ refers to ‘Vagina.’ How OFFENSIVE! These PC ideologues should clean up their language.

(Chinese can be a funny language when it comes to English words that are offensive in Chinese. And what about German? Do YOU want to have a ‘gute farht?’)

And so it is now that I comment on something that Conservative Americans might be offended by. This is the title of an article I came across at Townhall.com: Dick’s Sporting Goods. Don’t they know that in Australia ‘Dick’ means ‘Penis?’

Oh My GOD! It is high time that we got rid of all offensive language from the English and American languages.

For starters, let’s get rid of the words ‘Liberal Progressive, Politically Correct, Democrat, Clinton and my rights!’

(This world is so full of strange people and most of them are white leftists! That’s just my opinion – you can keep yours!)
