Where the Present, Past and Future Meet

One of the many images that come to mind when thinking of the USA is that of the Wild West and the American cowboy. Cowboys still do exist but they are not having a good time of it at present and if things continue they may disappear altogether in the future. To understand something of how the present may affect the future, take a look at this eight (8) minute video from the American Policy Center titled: The Last Cowboy at Pine Creek Ranch

But Wayne Hage fought to his dying day to save the ranch and life style he loved so much;…. He won his case in court numerous times, proving his grazing and water rights were his legally, not publicly owned and controlled as the government insisted. Yet each victory was appealed by the heavy hand of government, moving the case to the next court and the next judge in the system, forcing Wayne to spend more and more on legal fees. The government plan was simple and obvious. Destroy him financially until he was forced to give up.

Wild West sheriffs, marshals, gunslingers and cowboys, were REAL MEN by some people’s definition of men, but our world has changed so much and our concept of men has too so changed that one must wonder if America would ever have developed had it been populated with today’s metrosexuals or whatever ‘….sexuals.’

Men are to blame for all social ills

Society today is very feminized or at least heavily influenced by not only Feminist Ideology but angry men hating feminists who appear hell bent on removing masculinity from society.  In this article by Kimberly Fletcher at Townhall on April 23, 2018, M/s Fletcher discusses the issue of Raising Boys in a Feminist World

Feminists have seriously radicalized our culture. It is feminists who are always on the front lines fighting to keep internet filters out of our libraries. It is feminists who push Comprehensive Sexuality Education on our children’s schools. It is feminists who promote gender confusion, and protect pornography as free speech. It is feminists who tell our girls they don’t need a husband to be happy, and they don’t need a father to provide for their children. And as unbelievable as it seems, it is feminists who advocate for sex traffickers in an effort to protect “sex workers.”

It must be understood from the above that the ‘feminists’ of whom M/s Kimberly is speaking are the alt-left ideologically driven political activists, not the regular more to center common sense feminist.

A War of Competing Ideologies

It is a sad fact that today we are being torn apart by ideology. We no longer live in societies in which we respect everyone irrespective of their politics, beliefs and customs. Instead we treat as enemies anyone who does not hold to our ideological viewpoints. Common sense and common respect seem to have been ditched like the proverbial baby in the bathwater.

The situation has become so intense and so terrible that some predictions of the future are bleak indeed. Take this article by John Hawkins at Townhall (April 21, 2018) for example: 7 Forces Driving America Toward Civil War

No. 4) Moral Decline: As Samuel Adams once noted, “A general dissolution of principles and manners will more surely overthrow the liberties of America than the whole force of the common enemy. While the people are virtuous they cannot be subdued; but when once they lose their virtue then will be ready to surrender their liberties to the first external or internal invader.”

A large number of Americans HAVE LOST their principles, manners and virtue and it shows through from the sort of politicians they elect, to their rudeness online, to the sort of shallow hedonism and fame whoring they find appealing. Americans are increasingly becoming a soft and decadent people which is problematic because the challenges may change, but we can be certain that Americans will face future challenges every bit as difficult as the ones past generations had to tackle. This is frightening because if you look at the “principles, manners and virtue” of Americans today, they don’t seem capable of dealing with monumental events like the War of 1812, the Civil War, the Depression or World War II. Most people in their twenties probably couldn’t tell you why all those events were such challenges in the first place. When America faces a challenge bigger than we can handle because of ineffective politicians and our “amusing ourselves to death” population, there are no guarantees our republic will survive.

Another writer, Scott Morefield, published a similar type of article, also at Townhall, titled: America Faces One of Three Inevitable Paths: Unrest, Tyranny, or Divorce – Pick One

Comparing the Left and Right in America to “the couple screaming at each other all night, every night as the kids hide in their room,” Kelly cites a congenial divorce as the best option for a country that’s “hopelessly divided” on seemingly every important issue. He even tweeted a helpful accompanying map with a hand-drawn red line ceding the Left coast and the northern states to the liberal governance they deserve.

It is easy to dismiss these very negative perspectives but one must also keep in mind that all nations both rise and fall, and unless they can, like China, rise from the dust whilst carrying on their traditional identity, a nation’s fall when it comes will see them disappear forever or, at the very least, will see them become a pale shadow of their former selves. This is an important lesson for the people of the US of A to learn.

It is also important to note that both of these two articles are discussing the effect of the politicization of society. I believe that the new way of referring to this phenomenon is ‘Tribalism.’

If you are not for us then you are against us

The purpose of both of the articles listed above was to look at the effects of a divided society, and in the case of the USA, one only has to look back to the Civil War to realize where America might now headed.

Today political activists are doing everything possible to maximize the power and influence of their tribes. In the process unfortunately, the effect on society as a whole can be quite negative.

In Australia, political activists make a big to-do about the refugee processing center on the Island Nation of Nauru (Republic of Nauru) and have done their best to end the Australian Government’s activities there. But if you research the history and current state of Nauru, you will discover that whereas once it was an extremely rich place, it is now poverty stricken, and the money they receive from the Australian Government to house refugees, helps the country to survive. If the Australian government bows to the political pressure, the people of Nauru suffer. If the government does not give in, it suffers.

Differing political agendas are often found to be at loggerheads with each other, but from the perspective of tribalism, no middle ground or compromise can be allowed for that would defeat the tribal narrative and destroy the power of the tribe. Tribalism is therefore ultimately destructive within a society that holds to the democratic principles of freedom of speech and belief.

The Racist Tribe

One particular issue involving political tribalism relates to accusations of racism against those perceived to be displaying racist attitudes when discussing Islam and Muslims.

(It is hard to imagine but even Muslims at times get accused of being Islamophobic because their narrative does not gel with the Tribal narrative.)

Whilst on the one hand racism ought to be decried, on the other, national security must be guaranteed and the constant chant of racism, especially by non-Muslims in their virtue signaling defense of Islam and Muslims, actually drowns out the down to earth realities of which only actual Muslims can truly be aware, concerning which many Muslims struggle to have their voices heard.

One such person is Raheel Raza, a Muslim human rights activist who frequently criticizes the fact that many on the left leave themselves open to being manipulated by Islamists.

Raza: Lone Wolves, Mental Cases and Islamist Terror April 26, 2018 by Raheel Raza

A young man ploughed a rented van onto the pavement intentionally and murderously killing 10 innocent people and injuring over a dozen others. A single suspect, Alek Minassian, 25, of Richmond Hill, is in custody… In the past year, we have seen many other incidents like this internationally. It all started in Israel where car ramming became a favourite sport of Islamist extremists…. Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale gave a statement saying, “This incident that happened here on the street behind us was horrendous, but it does not appear to be connected in any way to national security.” I wonder how many innocent Canadians have to be killed in similar tragedies before this becomes an issue of “national security?”

Whilst many people simply cannot live without being politically correct, I personally think that politically correct ideologues will ultimately end up discovering that they will no longer be allowed to live.

Even various churches have joined the throng of worshippers at the Temple of Political Correctness, but as this next article indicates, these worshippers are putting their core values at risk, and potentially enabling their own destruction.

The Defrauded Friar April 19, 2018 by Tabitha Korol

Fr. Michael Calabria, a Franciscan Friar of Holy Name Province, is director of the Center for Arab and Islamic Studies at St. Bonaventure University. His extensive travels throughout the Islamic world and the subject matter of his broad list of speaking engagements and presentations appear to indicate that he has drifted from his original path.

He is scheduled to speak as an apologist for Islam this summer at the Chautauqua Institute, in New York State…. In past lectures and on his website, Calabria managed to compose a non-violent version of Mohammed’s hijra (journey) to Mecca and Medina, never divulging the Islamic leader’s beheading of as many as 900 Jews, sexual enslavement of the women and children, and demands of jizya (protection money) from the surviving Christians

Ideology plus Technology equals Propaganda

We live in a technological world with massive propaganda potential, a fact demonstrated by the fabricated Trump-Russia collusion drama. We are subjected daily to mind and emotion altering propaganda, mainly for the sake of increasing someone’s personal wealth and/or power.

Attempts to discuss publically some of the propaganda immediately gives rise to Tribal responses and attacks. One such issue is that of Vaccinations. People simply go ballistic when you try to warn them of the inherent dangers of vaccination but one courageous writer who writes about government influence in our lives, continues to write about this topic.

Our World Is Undergoing Massive Change by M.M. Justine March 25, 2018

Merck & Co, the pharmaceutical giant, has come under fire for its controversial Measles-Mumps-Rubella (MMR) vaccine which is predicated to cause autism. Dr. Andrew Wakefield, whose research connected the MMR vaccine with the rise in autism in children, had his license revoked, and his work continues to be criticized by medical authorities.

Not only that but Merck & Co pushed yet another controversial drug; the Gardasil vaccine for cervical cancer. In an interview with the French magazine Principes de Sante, Dr. Bernard Dalbergue confessed that Gardasil is a worthless vaccine that does not protect against cervical cancer, but puts the individual at risk of paralysis, and other neurological debilitating ailments.

As pointed out earlier, there is no middle ground in ideological tribalism and this is often demonstrated by those who rant and rail against people who express doubts about vaccinating their kids. Such people are not just vilified, but are fast becoming targets of government abuse.

Between politically correct political and social ideology, and the effects of Tribalism, it seems that this world is becoming a really crazy place.

Living by (ideological) Faith

I sometimes think that few people know how to research or analyse or think critically. We seem to live in a world where what feels right or seems right ‘must be right.’ And then of course there is the recourse to science. If scientists tell us that something is so, then it must be – and never mind that what is absolutely true today will be disproven or modified in a decade or two because it wasn’t right.

Science, unlike religion, is based on facts – or so they would have us believe, but if you take a look at this video titled What’s a Greater Leap of Faith: God or the Multiverse? you might come to the same conclusion that I did – that it should have been titled: ‘Living by Faith the Scientific Way.’  Don’t believe the lie that scientists are not men of faith.

Today’s ‘scientific’ or ‘ideological’ or ‘ tribal’ western societies seem to have become a mass of hysterical, nonsensical, virtue signaling, self-righteous do-gooders and/or prudes. One of the effects of this is that it sometimes seems that we have lost our social sense of humor – lest someone be offended. Comedians however usually get a free pass.

One totally not politically correct Australian comedian by the name of Barry Humphries (Dame Edna Everage) who was interviewed on 60 Minutes by reporter Liz Hayes, had this to say about the world in which we live today:

“The new puritanism is scary,” [Australian entertainer Barry] Humpries said. “We’re required to be insane!”

When asked if he is out of touch with contemporary society, Humphries has a wry response.

“Oh I hope so – I’d hate to be in step with society!”

That comment: ‘I’d hate to be in step with society’ is pointedly precise. People’s fear of being on the outer; of not being a part of the crowd – the Tribe, is precisely the problem we face in the western world today.

The need to belong outweighs everything

Our Tribe is no longer our family, our religion or our local community; it is based upon our ideology, which unfortunately is fed to us via mainstream and social media and quite often by cultural Marxist university lecturers. We truly don’t know how to think for ourselves and stand on our own two feet. We need the pre-digested food spoon fed us by the ideological elites.

Without the ideological tribe we are lost. We are at the very least ‘co-dependent’ and at worst ‘dependent’ on the tribe for our mental and emotional security.

In short, far too many people are halfway down the path to psychosis and unless we individually and personally restore some of our legitimate and historical tribal values, mental illness and social crises will flood our world, sweeping away every vestige of our innate identities.

We ought not to be the product of communist (leftist) ideology, but the product of our genetic or familial tribe. To overthrow and remove our past is to provide us with a present and a future which have no anchor. Just ask the Chinese Government. They will tell you!

The Cultural Revolution did not work for China and it won’t work for us!

A trickle of protest can become a raging river which in turn can become a devastating flood. Controlling the water and channeling it benefits everyone although if you let pressure get too great the dam walls will burst and destruction follows. [Click for More Three Gorge Dam Photos]
